Chapter 7 Will He Die

Then suddenly a mysterious card appeared out of nowhere in the air near his body. In which was written a single word. And it was....

"Sensumo."

As his mother sobbed, she noticed it. As it had very bright light coming out of it, shining almost like a divine artifact. As soon as it appeared Lily got cautious of that thing. As it had got a very cold presence. But she couldn't sense any sort of malice from it.

"Just what was that..." She muttered but soon returned towards healing Suzal. Then exactly at that moment she noticed something weird.

"S-Suzal? His body is healing itself? No, not only that it's even getting more and more stronger." She said as she witnessed her son's change in physical attire as she healed him.

After a matter of few seconds, Suzal suddenly woke up. All his feverish traits gone. He didn't had any symptoms of any sort of weakness. Not even any mental damage.

Then he opened his eyes. As he woke up, first of all he analyzed his surroundings. After his observation he asked his mom. "Mom, where is dad?" His expression not being cheerful like before. It was the complete opposite of it.

It was like a guy who went through hell. To reach their goal, one who had to climb the mountains with thousands of kilometers. And one who finally reached his goal, but nowhere near his true potential.

"Oh! He is in the village doing some official work. But how did you suddenly fall sic-..." As her mother reassured in a worrying tone. He realized that she was lying. So he cut her.

"Hey mom! I would appreciate if you cut it." He said. As his mother was stunned he continued, "Also Oliver san, Rachel and dad, aren't in the village, are they?"

Stating yet another astonishing fact.

"H-how did you? This presence did you sense him?" She asked to Suzal. To which this time she got a simple nod from him.

"So where is he?" Suzal asked.

Then his mother explained everything to him. How the guy who was assigned to keep Rachel safe had been killed, that too by a high ranked monster.

"I understand this dire situation. I am going to go and help him." Suzal said like it's nothing for him at all, in a chill mode.

"Haaah! Why are you being unreasonable now, Suzal? Even if you go you will only get in Grafiel's way." Lily tried to stop her, but Suzal was determined to go and help his father. Because if his deductions were correct. Then his mother might be a widow if he won't go fast.

Soon he gets up from his bed and puts his clothes and picks up a random sword. And sets up for his route. After saying, "I am going mom. And I promise I will make it back no matter what."

"Alright. Please make sure to fulfill it." Lily said helplessly but with hope that all four of them remains safe.

Then he opens the window and jumps from there. Then he activates his new skill. Called, Mana Enhancement. This skill is the same skill that he used to punch and bring down the tree earlier.

This skill allows all his physical and mental traits to increase by many folds. The number of the folds depends upon how much he has experienced using this skill and trained himself on mastering this.

After few tens of seconds he reached the main gate of the village. There were few guards over there. 'More trouble to deal with.' He thought, as he was about to talk with them. A guard called out to him.

"Young master Suzal. Lily sama has already informed us about your arrival. You may proceed." He said.

"Thanks a lot." He said and then dashes once again at an unbelievable speed. While searching for any traces of his father. As he looked for any sort of crushed flowers or grasses. He made his way towards that direction.

As he thought, 'Now I can probably use Sensumo system for atleast two more times today. Also the time will be limited on how much I can use it. Also whoever you are. I swear you will die by my hands one day, that's for sure.'

At a certain place with Rachel, Grafiel and Oliver.

Clang! Clang!

As Grafiel crossed the swords with the minatour in front of him. He was pushed back yet once again. Then came the pound attack from the Hydra's tail. Which he managed to dodged it swiftly.

Then he could see that the Hydra serpent was channelling some magic in his mouth. Which was a perfect chance to take it down but...

"Damn it. If not for this damn minatour or that hydra. I would have taken down whoever I was facing." Muttered Grafiel as he blocked the huge sword of the Minatour then he applied some force. Which pushed the Minatour back by a few steps.

Then he channeled some magic into his sword as he muttered, "Elemental blade strike." As the magic channeled throughout the sword it suddenly got enhanced with elemental magic, and the element being Fire.

Then he dashed towards the Minatour for applying some damage on it. Although the Minatour was very proficient in physical strength. It possessed limited agility.

Soon Grafiel jumped in the air to attack it. Then the Hydra seeing the opportunity attacked the poison blast it had in it's mouth to the Grafiel who was in air.

With this the both monster thought that now Grafiel would be finished. But Grafiel had one more trump card left. He said, "Body strengthment." Soon mana overflowed inside his body.

Then he rotated 180 in the air.

"Yaargh!"

He let out a warrior's cry as he easily blasted away the attack by Hydra with it's sword. And now the sword had lost the properties of elemental mana. Which made Grafiel very vulnerable. But he too wasn't foolishly attacking the two monsters in this pattern.

Just as he was about to stab the Minatour by putting his sword forward the Minatour too responded by swinging his sword to finish Grafiel. Grafiel suddenly pulled back his sword and let out his left hand then screamed with all his might.

"Dragon's Breath: Pyroburst spell."

Then suddenly the Minatour glanced sharply towards the magic attack as he defended himself with his sword. But still received huge damage as it was blown away good thirty meters. Because Grafiel's magic was quite powerful as it destroyed nearly thirty seven meters square area of the forest and numerous trees blasted away.

Then just as he was about to react to the Hydra who now had the chance to attack him. He was a bit late in it. The huge Hydra serpent was successful in biting Grafiel's left hand.

As the crunching sound came from his left side, the Hydra went even more deeper in biting him. Resulting in a good grip. Which means that his left hand is no longer useful plus if he doesn't do something about the venom. Even with him being that powerful.

He won't survive for more than a hour in fortunate case.

But still he didn't decide to give up and die here. Not when, he won't be able to take revenge for his dead friend Oliver and most probably dead little girl Rachel. He puts up his determination and then cuts his left arm.

Then he felt pain even double to that of the time he felt during the time when Hydra had crunched his left arm. The pain was enough for putting any normal person insane.

"Aaaaaaargh!!!" He screamed which echoed around a huge area of the forest.

Then he started readying a magic attack, to attack the Hydra with one hand. To which Hydra too started readying itself to finish the prey in front of him.

With Suzal...

"Aaaaaaargh!!!"

'What? That's the sound of my dad. I almost didn't recognize it. Well it's obvious. After all I am meeting him after a month. To be exact, technically. Also I am glad that I was going the correct way, but also not because of the way he screamed.' He thought as he kept on running towards the place of Grafiel, Oliver and Rachel. To save them.

Atleast from his perspective.

Seeing the vulnerable Grafiel, the Hydra went for a simple tackle attack. To which Grafiel side steps to evade it. But the Hydra releases it's tail to attack him in an too much obvious pattern. And now, Grafiel had already folding magic for his most powerful attack.

"Dragon's Wrath: Crimson Blade."

He screamed from the bottom of his heart. He decided to put everything in this attack then finish the Minatour. Yes. He wasn't planning on going down taking down only one of his opponent today.

Seeing this even the Hydra understood it's dangerous. After all in it's mind it was instructed to be wary of such attacks by "a certain someone".

"Shaaargh!" It hissed.

Hydra too began folding a powerful magic attack dut to it's weariness. Actually just like the initial Grafiel it had decided to channel it's most powerful attack too, if not for the normal circumstances this Hydra would already be dead facing someone like Grafiel.

Grafiel let out a passionate battle cry as he approached the Hydra with his most powerful attack. His sword was now coated with Fire magic, also a divine magic to be exact. It shined like a beautiful light crimson yellow.

But before he could dive in the Hydra swiftly threw it's own magic strike. The...

"Venomous Nova."

As the venomous beam attacked Grafiel. He rotated his sword down then pushed it back.

'What? How?' He thought . Being a seasoned adventurer he knew what this Hydra was planning. It was an high class magic attack of Hydra. Then he formed an stance quickly realizing he must by pass it first.

"Yaaaargh!/Shaaargh!"

As both of them collided with each other, a huge shock wave appeared in the forest. The wind breezes moved from here to there within a range of kilometers. And both of them stopped it a certain place.

But!!!

It was certain that despite his weakened state, Grafiel was at a advantage as he was slowly pushing and making his way towards the Hydra. There he wasted his most of his precious generated mana. Then suddenly the attacking power of the Hydra increased.

But Grafiel was no pushover either, he too increased his power to maximum surpassing his own limit. Surpassing his prime. He pushed and pushed. And finally he managed to push all the way towards the Hydra.

He smirked, but his joy didn't last longer as his attack too ran out of time. And all he managed to do was stab the one eye of the Hydra.

"Goddamnnnitttt!" He screamed.

Swoosh!

'I see. It's from there.' Thought Suzal.

Then he swiftly arrived at the place he wished to reach. Without wasting a single second he drew his sword then ran his magic towards it.

"Shaaargh?"

As the Hydra glanced sidewise, an individual suddenly appeared then sliced his part of the body in two diagonal way, then back kicked him with a great amount of force.

Enough to send his near five ton body away by a good distance.
