Chapter 5 Worst Kisser

Nine years ago,

Dave

"I would be happy to have him as a student at my school. I've heard about his genius brain. He is not only a football player but also a school topper." Mrs. Delilah Clark, the school principal of Granite Bay, said with appreciation. "You'll be an excellent example for other students." She nodded at me with a huge smile.

I smiled at her appreciation while adjusting my glasses.

My mother squeezed my hand under the table, and her eyes lit up with pride. "Thanks, Delilah," my mother said in her alluring voice. No doubt she was a musician and even an excellent pianist. There was a time when she sang, but all her dreams were shattered after he arrived in her life.

He was a fucker! I clenched my hands into fists and shook my head. I didn't want to think about that man. His mere thoughts sickened to my stomach, he was not human but a monster.

"Rosalyn will show you the rest of the school." Delilah's voice broke my thoughts as I looked at her, straightening my spine against the chair. "Dave, you can leave now. I need to talk to your mother about something very important alone."

I nodded before standing up and leaving the room.

Mrs. Delilah Clark and my mother were working partners and friends. We could say best friends. They had been friends since high school. After their graduation, Delilah shifted to New York and my mother stayed in her hometown, but their friendship kept running despite ups and downs. They stayed in touch with each other. The first few years, Delilah used to visit us but after becoming principal of the school she found hardly any time so her visits stopped abruptly. But after years my mother got in contact with her and we moved to New York.

We had lived in Victoria for ten years with that man. But after a long struggle, we got free from him and escaped to New York. New York City was not a place for us. As a result, my mother had no job and I still had one year left to finish high school. But Delilah made everything easy. She helped us stay here. She offered my mother a job; she arranged an apartment for us and admitted me to this school. She had played the role of an angel in our lives.

"Hey, there," Rosalyn called me out when she saw me exiting the principal's office. "What's up?" She smiled, and two dimples appeared on each side of her cheek. She was so beautiful with those dark stunning eyes and dark lustrous hair. Her smile was ecstatic, pure, and real. She was my childhood friend and the only person who could make me happy after my mother. Rosalyn also moved here two years ago because of her brother Rowan's new business. Rowan was only twenty, and he started his own business a year ago. And he wanted his sister to be with him all the time.

I adjusted my glasses and smiled at her. "Just the same old."

She looked at me up and down. "You are becoming thinner day by day, Dave."

I shrugged. "I'm not thin, I've worn baggy clothes." I wore loose denim jeans and an oversized black T-shirt. These clothes were comfortable for me even though people wouldn't appreciate me and most importantly my mother did not like me to wear baggy clothes.

She punched my shoulder softly and playfully. "But still you look so handsome."

I ran my fingers through my hair, looking away. Rosalyn flirted with me. She wanted to be with me; she wanted me to be her boyfriend. But I always stepped off because she didn't deserve me. She was damn gorgeous and sexy, but I was afraid to give her the things that she deserved. My mother could barely make money and I was still studying. On the other hand, she belonged to a rich family. Her father was an automobile dealer and her brother was an event planner.

"Dave," Mom called me out from behind, I turned around to face her. Her grey eyes were moist.

"Mom, what's happened?" I reached out to her. "You were crying, right?"

She bit into the lip, looking away. She didn't want me to see her pain. "I'm sensitive, you know."

"Mom, look at me," I ordered her and she obeyed. "Why are you crying?"

"I'm worried about you. I know it is difficult for you to learn in an unfamiliar environment and with new people. And you don't even know how to make friends." She looked at my clothes. "They will certainly mock your old-fashioned clothes and thick glasses." Sadness flickered in her eyes. "I wish I could get a good job to buy you new clothes and change your lenses."

I shook my head, smiling. "I'm happy with what I have right now. And I don't need friends, anyway." I glanced over my shoulder and looked at Rosalyn, who was waiting for us. "I have, Rosa. She is enough for me."

Mom tucked a few strands of her brown hair behind my ear, glancing past me and smiling. "She has grown up. She looks beautiful. Do you like her?"

"Do you like her?" I asked her.

"I love her," Mom said, winking.

"I like her so much..." I adjusted my glasses.

"She must have a boyfriend."

I shook my head. "She wants me as her boyfriend."

"Wow! Make it happen, honey."

I sighed heavily. "I'll make her my wife when I become rich. She deserves better."

"Aw, my baby. Come here." Mom pulled me into a tight hug.

I quickly pulled myself back. "Mom!" I glanced around, checking the hallway to see if anyone else was watching us. "Don't do this here. I'm seventeen, not seven."

She crossed her arms over her chest, glaring at me. "I know you're a 6-foot-tall boy but still you'll be my baby boy."

I chuckled, running my fingers through my hair. "I'll always be your little boy."

The ring buzzed out.

"Dave," Rosa called me out. "Dave, we are running late. Come on."

I looked at my mother one last time before whispering, "Bye, Mom. I love you."

She smoothed my hair lovingly and looked into my eyes. "I love you too, baby. Please take good care of yourself."

"How was your class?" Rosalyn asked me when we entered the cafeteria. The fresh smell of toast and French fries wafted through my nostrils and made my stomach growl in hunger.

"As expected, rough," I said, remembering how children made fun of my loose clothes and large glasses. One boy had tried to cut my hair, but Mr. Hagerty's maths teacher noticed him and stopped him. I was not shocked because it was what I expected.

Bullying.

As I glanced around, I noticed that everyone was watching us. "Why are they watching us?"

"Because something is waiting for you," she said hesitantly.

"But..." Before I could finish myself, something collapsed against my body and grabbed my neck, bending me down and slamming my lips against mine.

What the fuck?!

"It means nothing..." She mumbled and pushed me back making me stumble and knock down the wall. I hardly had time to understand anything. Her soft body was all over mine and her fucking lips were sucking in my mouth. She was fucking eating me up. Her hands went up, gripping my hair, and her mouth didn't leave mine. She took one step, placing her legs between my legs. "Kiss me back, dammit!" She demanded, breathing hard into my face. "Kiss me, boy!"

I opened my eyes to see that girl.

My heart quickened as I stopped breathing for a moment.

The most striking blue eyes stared at me and pleaded with me. "Kiss me, please." she pouted.

Oh fuck, I was hard. She made me hard for her. Thanks to my loose clothes.

I placed my hands on her hips before pulling her closer to me. A small gasp escaped her mouth when I crashed into her. Shoving my tongue into her mouth I tasted her sweetness. Fuck! She smelled like vanilla. I bit her lower lip and heard a small moan escape her mouth. She kissed me back, taking me in full before pulling herself away and wiping her rosy lips. For a moment I considered grabbing her again and pin her down against the wall and kissing her again, but I stepped back, observing her expression. She didn't move from her place gasping for breath, but after a while, her eyes lifted at me and a strange smile crossed her lips. "You are aroused, aren't you?"

Yes, I was hard.

It was difficult to describe her facial features because her long blonde bangs covered most of her face, but I could say she had the face of an angel and the attitude of a devil. "Or you're aroused," I retorted and couldn't help my smirk.

She pushed back her hair, letting me see her beautiful face, stunning blue eyes, high cheekbones, soft lips, and porcelain skin. "I told you it meant nothing," she said coldly and looked back at the group of kids who watched us with all their interest. She narrowed her eyes to me. "And clean your face. You've got my lipstick all over your jaw."

"A minute ago you were eating me like a wild cat and now you're behaving like a bitch." I adjusted my glasses. "I'd appreciate it if you licked again and wiped off my face."

She clenched her jaw and her cheeks turned pink. "You'd better watch your mouth."

I smirked, earning her a frosty look.

"You've won..." A dark-haired girl said from behind, approaching us. "I never thought that you would kiss this nerd for the sake of your pride. You're stubborn, aren't you?" The girl eyed me and displeasure crossed her face. "Ugh, you kissed him. I can't believe it."

"Dave..." Rosa called me out, and I turned around to see her. "Are you okay?" She asked me, worried flicking in her eyes.

I gave her a nod and turned back to that girl but she had already disappeared with her friend.

"Bitch!" Rosa hissed under her breath and glared at her. "How dare she kiss you?"

I smiled and watched that blue-eyed girl. She turned to her friends and gave them a high-five before plopping down in the chair. She murmured something to them and they all burst into loud laughter. She whispered something to the girl who was sitting beside her and they both turned their heads in our direction, watching us.

"Let's go..." Rosa said grabbed my hand and dragged me to the table. "Don't stare at her like that. It'll bring up her pride again."

"Who's she?" I asked.

She rolled her eyes, glaring at that girl. "Manipulative, self-centered, and arrogant Bitch! Ava Miller. She thinks everyone should worship the ground she walks on." She shook her head. "Please stay away from her. And don't tell me you also can't resist her beauty. She is beautiful but worthless. Half of the schoolboys are already worshipping her. She is one of the most popular girls in school."

Two girls crossed our table and kept staring at me again and again. They whispered something to each other and giggled.

"Stop bothering us!" Rosa snapped at those two, and they dashed off.

"Ugh! Look at them. They are laughing at you!" She gritted her teeth out and glanced at Ava's table. "I hate them. They keep bullying kids."

They were laughing and kept watching at our table.

"That group is called ATTIS." She nodded at them. "Ava, Travis, Tessa, Ian, and Sarah. Travis is a psychopath, Tessa is an idiot, Ian is a playboy, and Sarah." She sighed. "Sarah is mean, hypocritical, and rude. And she is also the cousin of Henry Robinson." She looked at me. "Do you know who Henry Robinson is?"

I frowned. "No, why?"

She shook her head, smiling. "No doubt. He is a popular model and boyfriend of Ava Miller."

And that hit me hard. My hands automatically clenched. "Her boyfriend?"

She raised her brows. "Yup, Ava has a boyfriend."

Then why the fuck she was kissing me as if she had never been kissed before? She was indeed manipulative.

A group of boys approached our table. "Ladies and gentlemen..." A boy announced and hopped onto our table. "Today we are going to introduce our new student..." He stared at me and his lips twisted into a knowing smile. "The worst kisser of our school."

And the entire hall erupted in...

Worst kisser.

Worst kisser.

Worst kisser.

I looked at Ava and her crew was laughing. She turned to me and mouthed me. "You're the worst kisser." She gave me a wink and turned back to her friends.

How far this would go?
