I immediately hooked my hand on his arm and asked him to leave.

"W-what is it?"

"We have to go quickly."

I looked back slightly. My Boss's gaze kept on me as he left with another man.

"I hope he is not aware of my existence,"

"Wait a moment,"

I was surprised when the footsteps of the man beside me stopped.

"Mr. Hyung-Woo?"

My eyes widened in shock, and I didn't dare look back after that name was mentioned.

"Who were you with, Master Jae?"

I got even more agitated after Boss asked my random date guy.

"I'm with a beautiful woman here. We're going on a random date. He's Lilith."

Unlucky! The man beside me said my name in front of my Boss!

What should I do?

The atmosphere in the bar could have been more relaxed. My body felt like it was frozen. I faced my Boss after my date said I went on a random date!

"I must admit, I didn't expect you to have this taste, Miss Lilith."

With a smirk visible on his cheeks, I tightly clenched my hands, controlling my feelings.

"I-I don't understand what you're talking about, sir."

"Come on, now don't pretend you don't understand what I'm saying," he explained again.

"Mr. Hyung Woo, we need to talk," I said bravely.

I saw the smirk on his cheek again and the cynical look on my random date.

"But before that, we must get rid of this trash first!"

"W-what!" He shouted, not accepting.

The Boss took something inside his shirt and gave it to my date.

"Sorry, but take this," said Hyung Woo, giving

"What?" My date needs to be clarified.

I'm curious about what my Boss gave him.

"Money?" he said, surprised.

I was also surprised that my Boss gave him money.

With a cold stare, my Boss spoke to my date again.

"That's your condition, for you to go now! Go!"

"But, we're going to talk about something important now, bastard! Said the man beside me.

"I know you are my client. But it's in the office, and here, you bully," My Boss said with a threatening look.

I froze in shock at the actions taken by my Boss. The strange thing was that he smiled at me.

Now, only I was left to talk to my Boss. We were facing each other very closely.

"What are you doing here, Mister Hyung Woo? This place isn't suitable for a guy like you."

Damn it! I stuttered, unable to cover up my awkwardness.

My Boss smiled casually, and he chuckled slightly. Maybe seeing me so awkward, damn it!

"I was there because I wanted to be there."

His words started to irritate me with him. I furrowed my brows, looking annoyed.

"B-but what about your fiancé? What if the reporters find out?"

My Boss looked nervous. He scratched the back of his neck and spoke again by looking at me.

"My engagement will be called off, and the media will turn my company to dust,"

His words were like playing games. I clenched my fists, annoyed at him.

"If you already know the risk you will accept, then why did you-"

My Boss approached me, making me stop to speak. Two steps closer, making me nervous again.

"You want to know the truth? Alright, I'll tell you about this. I like going on random dates. Are you having fun?" The smirk was back in sight.

I was surprised to hear the statement immediately coming out of his mouth. He spoke without thinking.
