Chapter 4 Four

Jack's POV: After saying that, I held her shoulder and tore her short skirt. She strived desperately as if trying to get rid of me. "Don't pretend to be innocent. In the Black Eye Pack, every she-wolf wants to sleep with me." With my left hand, I grabbed Brenda's hair, while my right hand slid to her thigh. "Don't touch me!" "You'd better know what's good for you. You must have already sensed it, right? We are mates. Sleeping together is not a big deal for us. If you keep resisting, I'll reject you! " That was my final card. I was sure that she wouldn't dare to resist after this.

Sure enough, Brenda paused for a moment. But just when I thought that she was frightened, she unexpectedly raised her hand and slapped me hard across the face. "I, Jack Thompson, the future Alpha of the Black Eye Pack, hereby solemnly reject you, Brenda Wilson, as my mate," I said coldly. I thought that she would instantly fall at my feet and beg me to abolish my rejection. But to my awe, she glowed with relief. "That's great. I was waiting for you to reject me. Just now, I was marveling why the Moon Goddess selected a scumbag like you as my mate. Thank you for setting me free." What was this bitch talking about? Shouldn't she be heartbroken after being rejected by me, the future Alpha? How could she smile like she was having the biggest time of her life? A bad sentiment rose in my heart, but before I could say anything, Brenda opened her mouth in high spirits. Her tone was full of joy as if she had gained a victory instead of being rejected. "I, Brenda Wilson, the daughter of the deceased Alpha Logan Wilson of the Rising Moon Pack, hereby accept your rejection." Brenda's tone was relaxed, and there was a pleased smile on her face. On the other hand, felt like I was pummeled by thunder. At this moment, her smile was too intense for me to look at. What was she talking about? How could she be the daughter of the deceased Alpha Logan Wilson of the Rising Moon Pack? Wasn't she just a lowly slave? How could a slave be from an Alpha bloodline? My wolf cried out bitterly in my mind, "You idiot! How could you reject a mate with Alpha bloodline?" "Rising Moon Pack already has a new Alpha. This girl is just a lowly slave now. She doesn't deserve to be my Luna at all. It was right for me to reject her," I stubbornly told my wolf. But then why did I feel anger surging within me? "You are such an idiot. You're lamenting now, right?" My wolf taunted. "Damn it! Shut up!" I growled at him. Regretting it? I was the future Alpha. All the she-wolves in the pack would die for a chance to be with me. Why would I regret rejecting a slave? It made no sense. "Can I leave now?" Brenda asked, interrupting my thoughts with a smile. There was obvious hatred and apprehension in her eyes. I wanted to yank her and fuck her violently to punish her for her disrespectfulness. But the mocking eyes of this bitch were too annoying to look at for even a moment longer. "Fuck off!" I lashed out. Brenda shrugged and walked out of the bathroom without looking back. It seemed that she had no intention of staying at all. In fact, she avoided me like the blight. Despite that, looking at her slim and attractive back made my craving upswing. With no way to emit it, I growled and punched the wall. Anger was endangering to burst out of me. How could that bitch be so indifferent towards me? I couldn't accept it at all! ** Vivian's POV: That bitch, Brenda, interrupted me and Jack while we were having sex! What was worse, Jack seemed to be attracted to her. How could I take such an insult? I had the prominent Beta bloodline, and I had grown up with Jack. I had already made up my mind that I would be his Luna one day. Alpha Anthony always regaled me well. If I complained to him about Brenda, he would chastise that bitch for sure. Thinking of that, I quickly rushed out to his office. Just before I entered, I gathered all the disgruntled emotions that I had and squeezed out a few tears. Then, I walked in with a pitiful face. "Vivian, what's wrong? Why are you crying? Who bullied you?" Alpha Anthony asked with concern. "It's nothing," I mumbled, lowering my head respectfully. "I'm sorry to worry you like this." "Who bullied you? Don't be afraid to tell me. Whoever it is, I'll teach them a lesson!" Alpha Anthony stood up and gently touched my head. "It's...Brenda."As I said her name, tears welled up in my red eyes. "She stole my Gem necklace yesterday. I asked her to give it back to me, but she refused and even said that she wouldn't mind fighting me for it. I finally managed to get the necklace back, but she threatened me and almost slapped me! And what's worse, she even seduced Jack. She told me that she's the only one who's qualified to be his mate..." I paused as if I couldn't bear to go on. "I'm sorry, Alpha Anthony. I shouldn't have come to bother you with such a trifle..." When I raised my gaze and slithered a look at Alpha Anthony's face, I saw that he was on the edge of exploding with anger. "It's not a novelty! How dare a lowly slave threaten you? And she even wishes for the position of Jack's mate? Who does she think she is? Such a shameless and depravity slave must be punished!" Alpha Anthony told me seriously before turning to his bodyguards. "Bring Brenda here!"
