Dad was waiting for us along with Beta Aaron in his office, we knock on the door before walking in and taking a seat, dad and the beta were busy with some paperwork before they turned to us. I expected to be yelled at, they mostly yell at us, but I don't think we did anything to deserve a yelling.
"What's up, old man?" I ask my dad earning a glare from my dad, he doesn't like to be called old, not by me for sure.
"Eden would be going to school along with you tomorrow" he starts, I sit straight in my seat, I've been trying to get closer to the omega, but she keeps close to my parents, school is a great chance to be close friends with her.
"Both of you are expected to drive her to school and back, walk her in the school ground and keep her safe" my dad says in a dead cold voice.
"Of course dad, we'll take good care of her" I say happy to have a chance with the baby Omega.
"Nathaniel, can I count on you? As the next Alpha?" my dad asks, this time he's serious, it's something important, anything related to the little omega is important, for me, for the whole pack.
"Of course" I reply, not joking anymore my voice went all serious.
"Eden, she haven't regressed, hardly did at all. She's still stutering in front of anyone who's a stranger to her. Nathaniel, you're the closet to her age, you're the next alpha, I want you to try and help her relax, help her regress" dad says, all Omega regress to younger ages, that make things easier for them to be taken care of.
"I'll try my best dad, we'll both do" I say motioning for Tristan with me, we're a team, with the Omega with us, we're the one who rule the pack.
"We will alpha, can we check on her?" Tristan asks, he's been dying to spend some time with her, but her running away from us shyly, it was hard.
"Go, talk to her, keep her company. She needs to take the iron supplement after dinner" dad says giving us the dirty job. We all knew she's anemic, her old eating habits didn't help her, now she needs to have a supplement daily.
"Where's she?" I ask, I had no idea where she is, me and Tristan went on the search for her, she wasn't in any of the rooms of the house, we finally moved to her room. Her door was wide open, laying on the bed was the missing Omega, Eden. She was just laying there, the toys in her room were left untouched, the TV turned off.
I knocked on the door to get her attention before walking in the room, she sat up when she saw us, I smiled at her and took a seat next to her on the bed, Tristan did the same sandwiching her between us.
"You mind if we join you?" Trsitan asks, she just nods, shrinking on herself, we want her to feel better not be scared of us, our plan wasn't going very well so far.
"How about a movie?" Tristan asks she nods her head yes not talking yet, Tristan turns the Tv on and start messing trying to find one that'll work with her.
"You don't like your toys princess?" I ask, she hasn't touched them yet.
"I...I d...d-d-do" she stutters scared, I try to look less scary, I miss the little wolf who jumped on top of me wanting to play, not this version who's afraid to talk.
"How about you chose one to watch TV with us?" I ask her nodding toward the stuffed animal's pile she had, mom got her every animal real and mythical she could find. Eden nod and get off the bed to search through the pile, she goes slowly picking each one in her hand, checking it carefully and moving to the next one. I felt a smile goes on my face just watching her do it, picking her favorite.
She finally came back to the bed, holding a fox stuffy, I moved so she can get in the middle of the bed again between me and Tristan. My friend finally got a movie on for her Moana, not his favorite type but one suitable for a little.
"What you gonna name him?" I ask her, she looks up at me and think about it for a second.
"Zorro" she says with a smile, I was so proud of her in that moment. The movie started getting her attention, I also noticed she relaxed a bit, hugging the fox, cuddling closer, letting me pet her hair. She was almost asleep by the end of the movie, but we had to go eat dinner first, she was grumpy about being awaken but still got up and went down for dinner.
She ate her food yawning, maybe we'd win and she won't fight me much about the supplement she didn't know what it is, so it should be easy. I got her a syringe filled it with the supplement, I motioned for Tristan to hold her, it was a hug to keep her in place, I slipped the syringe in her mouth and pushed the supplement down her throat not leaving her a chance of spitting it out.
She looked at us with eyes filed with betrayal for what we did, she pulled out of Tristan and ran toward my mother calling us out.
"Meanies!" She says cuddling to mom.
