Chapter 3 Zyra met with her mother

While the day kept breaking, Zyra was called by Hailey, her mother; she had earlier lost her father, and appear to be the only surviving child the family had. Rsyden her father will all he have to her and her mother.

Her response to Hailey, Zyra had know the reasons for her called she need know one to tell her it was all about she getting married.

As she arrived, got in, and was welcome by her mother by saying "You are no longer a baby; you are growing older and need to get a man as a husband; what then is keeping you longer?" She asked Zyra. This hurt her; knowing fully that Hailey witnessed her disappointment with Xara, why the persuasion?

"Mother, you have persuaded me a lot; it was through your persuasion that I came to know about Xara, which almost ended my life, and now you have started again. Should I go get a husband myself? She asked and added. "I believe they will come with time.

Hailey wasn't still happy with her statement, so she started reminding her of her cousin, wo had their children with them, of which she is far older than, aside from the fact that she is a billionaire. "You can't compare me with them, mother; I will surely have mine; all I need now is to pray hard to God for a good man like Daddy; I know if he were to be alive, he wouldn't have been persuading me as you do."

"You can have your seat, sir," she offered him while they went on talking. he started by telling her how much he loved her and wanted her to be his wife. Zyra looked at him and said. "With due respect, sir, I might be single, but I'm not desperate to settle down; beside, I didn't advertise it, or did you hear that I am in need of a husband? Am okay, so let's go with the business of the day." She answered him.

I don't blamed him, I blame Lynn that allows him into my office. She quickly called on her secretary. As soon as the Lynn responded to her call, Zyra fired her for allowing Koen into her office. Lynn, pleaded to retain her job; but was denied by Zyra "You are incompetent; how can you permit such a man into my office? Now he has disgraced me and made much ridicule of me." You are fired; leave my office."

Lynn, with her knee on the ground, pleaded again, but Zyra maintained her words that she was fired. The following day, she employed a new secretary.

Zyra kept going with the hope that her attitude would attract a man. Meanwhile, being a wealthy lady, she always attends clubs, and this time around she was invited to celebrate a friend's birthday. To her, she wasn't going there to celebrate the birthday, but rather to see if she could meet her soulmate. Unfortunately for her, none of the men present at the birthday party fit her status. After a little while, she picked up her car key to return home, and while trying to pave her way out of the party hall, she was hit on her hands by a young lady serving the audience. Zyra didn't waste much time before giving her a slap, and the attitude kept everyone scarrted until she left the party. When the celebrant heard about it, she strictly warned Zyra not to spend any time with her any longer, since Zyra had planned on disorganizing her birthday.
