"That bitch!" Alexander cursed, he took off his shirt, drying himself clean with a towel, and then he hiccupped, ' She must be cursing me somewhere, who cares, dumb teenager.' He said inwardly.

He went to the bathroom to take a hot bath in the pool. The bathroom was the size of two large rooms combined, and the steel and glass window walls would make you think you're exposed to the outside, but you're the only one seeing the outside world, The modern window was made in a way that one could only see from the inside, not the outside.

A wide Chandelier hanging from the ceiling with its golden bulbs which produced golden lights, and large sizes of mirrors pressed to the wall.

The water helped cool his temper, all his life, no woman had ever raised her hand to him, not even his mother, and she dared to slap him with her fragile hands?!

He picked the bar soap from the pool edge, throwing it away,

"Tsk... This habit of venting your anger on everything, throw me too." A Chuckle escapes Daniel's lips.

He squatted, using his hand to feel the temperature of the water before taking off his shirt and jumping in, "Who made you this angry?"

"That filthy waitress," he growled, "And what did she do?"

Alexander told Daniel what went on between them, from the night at the club and this one, "You deserved It." Daniel stated.

"Huh?" Alexander asked, he thought he heard wrong.

"You deserved it. Seriously, you were rude to her, How could you be so arrogant after making her lose her Job? You have to find a spare time to order a heart, you don't have one Alexander."

"And also, I think she's the best option for our little plan," Daniel laughed, "I can't believe that girl slapped you. It means she will be able to tackle your mom, for her to be able to slap the almighty Alexander Pierce, wow." Alexander picked up the soap plate and aimed at Daniel, throwing it at him. "Shut up you. Dummy."

"I will, but think about what I said, She lost her job because of you and you need help, it will be a win-win situation for both."

Alexander took some days to think about what Daniel had said, it wasn't a bad idea, Although he didn't like the girl in question for the deal, she was rude and quite stupid, there wasn't a better option out there.

"Daniel, we should give your plan a try don't you think?" He asked while he was sipping from the hot coffee, They agreed to meet at this Café, and here they are.

"I'll have my lawyer prepare the papers. I should ask her permission first, and also I don't know her name."

"We don't know where she stays Alexander, Where do we start? And we should see her together, so you don't scare her away with your attitude." He said. Seeing Alexander with a frown on his face, he apologized.

"The last time I saw her, she was entering some street, maybe she lives around there Alexander said.

That evening, he drove his car to the same spot, hoping he'd see her around, and he got lucky, she dropped by a shop at the side, probably to pick up something when he saw her, while Daniel was teasing him nonstop.

"Daniel, look, there she is?"

"Let's go then." They both jumped out of the car, waiting for her to finish with the shopkeeper as it seemed like she was talking and laughing so much with the shopkeeper, Once she finally turned to leave, they both cornered her from both sides. "Hi," Daniel waved at her, grabbing one hand and Alexander took the second.

Seeing the madman she had told Emily about not long ago, she sighed, his presence brought nothing good at all.

"Why are you here? Did you get your friend to kidnap me?"

"Let's talk," Alexander said, pulling her with him to the car even while she tried freeing herself.

"Daniel, tell her the plan." He ordered Daniel, "Hi dear, I'm Daniel, you don't need the last name, you can call me friend," he got Alexander eyeing him, "We want a favor from you."

"Err-"

"See, it is not for free, we will pay, my friend will."

It didn't look like a good offer, Thought Amelia, They both acted strangely, she was scared of what they would do next.

"Name your price, monthly, we will add that to the contract." Said Alexander, She looked at Daniel, trying to get what his friend was saying, he seemed cooler than his arrogant friend, Her lips read, 'What contract?'

"Alexander, You're exceptionally good at scaring people, Explain a bit in detail." He gestured to him what was wrong as Alexander was unable to say much.

"Miss, read and sign here." He searched his pocket and brought out a pen, "Just one signature Is needed, the contract states that you will be pretending to be my girlfriend for ten months and will get a normal salary monthly, and it gets better," he smiled,

"There shall be no relationship between us other than business, In front of the world, you will be a loving girlfriend who I'm also in love with and wish to marry, No sexual relationship between both parties, you're not allowed to hold any feelings for me as that could be dangerous and be enough to terminate the contract, if that happens, you will be forced to return all the money I have given you."

"And what If you fall for me first?" She asked in disgust, he was just too rude, and the contract read only in his favor,

"Whoa... That is impossible, I would never, believe me, Girls of your type are so quick to fall for wealthy men," he said in a sarcastic tone.

" I shall uphold your interest if you do the same with mine, In these ten months, I won't cage you, but you have some restrictions when it comes to what you do with your personal life, Do not have any affair which would tarnish my name, the public shouldn't see you with people who could raise suspicions. And the rest, I'm sure you can read missy, it's there in the papers, Now I'll give you 10 minutes, sign with your full name, and we will come to pick you up tomorrow."

This was the craziest offer she got. She had heard of girls being pets for months, and being paid to satisfy these men, but this was rare, "How much per month?" She tested, "You should pick a price, we will see if it suits you well.

"Five thousand monthly," she said, Alexander shook his head and whispered in Daniel's ear, but it was audible enough for her to hear, "Such cheap price, Daniel my mother will find out she isn't from a higher class."

"Excuse me Mr." She cuts in, "I never came to your office to ask you for a job, You made the offer, and now you're calling me cheap? If you have so much money, tell me why you would need a girl to pretend to love you?" After giving him an earful, he was silent.

"Sorry, Miss-"

"Amelia." She completed Daniel's words, "You see, my friend's mother is some sort of a vampire," She laughed at his words, he had a good sense of humor, unlike 'Mr. Cold Stones' here. "She Is quick to suspect anyone's background, and it's no doubt she would research yours, You have to demand higher, how about this, You would get a total of ten million, Five million will be sent to you once you agree and sign and then you can receive half a million monthly, and don't worry, housing, clothes, bags and shoes, these expenses will be on him, every other thing you need to know will be on him. Just sign."

"Sign now." Alexander ordered, "No, I have to read it thoroughly, I will contact you if I'm interested after reading." She couldn't get herself into any quick trouble, she had to consult her friend for this.

Alexander gritted his teeth at the words, "What will it take for you to put your signature on the damn paper, do you think I have time to waste?" His voice was cool as he tried to keep a good temperament, but the words he used weren't friendly,

"Alex bro," Daniel rubbed his back lightly, "give her time, hell knows how you flip papers back and front before agreeing to sign them, she has a right to." She stared at him for a while. She wasn't sure she could do this, with this man being rude to her at every given chance. "I'll be leaving Mr. Daniel,"

"And your number, you didn't forget that did you?" Daniel said in a meek tone, "Oh..." She wrote her number on the top of the carton with her, tearing that side and handing it to him, "I'll call you tomorrow." Daniel said.

"Don't leave with the pen," Alexander said, forcing a smile on his lips.

'Insolent.' She threw the pen, not caring where it landed, and banged the door.

"Daniel, we should follow her, What if she decides not to go through with it anymore? Or if she runs away after getting the first part of the deal?"

"You keep so many suspicions for everyone you know? Not all paupers are greedy, she said she needs to read the papers carefully, nothing more. We should celebrate with a drink tonight. To your freedom."

Amelia switched directions, she couldn't wait to ask for Emily's Opinion on this. She started having random thoughts of what to do with ten million, it was no small amount! She thought of reopening Lucas' case as her brother was innocent. He was just on his way back from work that night when he was caught by the police and dragged, she couldn't do anything as she was a minor then, Emily helped her arrange a family, saying they were her relatives, else she would have been sent to foster parents.

"N O, No! Amelia." Amelia followed her to the room, "Give me reasons Emily?"

"I said no. You won't do this, do you realize they will scam you? All the supposed clauses will be broken when the man feels like? I know this kind of person, you are not doing that job, throw that trash away." Emily picked her clothes from the floor, and Amelia assisted, "I told you not to worry about a job, I will talk to my boss tomorrow, and we will fix you somewhere in the cafe."

"But Emily, I-"

"Shh... You're putting your life at risk just because you need the money to reopen Lucas' case, but this is not right." She already knew her best friend so well.
