Chapter 3 3.

"Get your freaking hands off her!!" Someone shouted making Jenny move back in surprise.

I turned my head to look at who just made those angry statements cause I know for sure, it wasn't Beatrice she would have lunged on Jenny before giving her the curse of her life.

I was surprised and at the same time somewhat happy and relieved when I realized it was Charles standing up for me.

He looked so angry as his jaw clenched.

"Wow! Who do we have here?" Jenny cooed as she stood arms akimbo.

"New boy saving poor little nerd, that just makes it so interesting, what do you think Jenny?" Susan said as she stepped forward while Bella chuckled.

"Perfect combination!" Jenny said smirking at me.

"What the hell just happened here?" We all heard someone screaming and I sighed covering my face with my palms.

'Beatrice, for the love of God, don't pick a fight' I prayed heavily in my heart knowing she was the one.

"OMG! Camilla who did this to you?" She fumed.

"It's nothing," I said trying to get up on my feet.

It has been a part of me, tolerates their torments and cries the tears I couldn't control in front of them and get back on my feet.

Before I could say anything more Beatrice moved over to Jenny swiftly and a thunderous slap was heard across the whole canteen.

"Oohed!!!" Everyone echoed as my eyes widened taking in what Beatrice just did to Jenny.

Jenny was way too shocked as she covered her right cheek with her palms.

"How dare you?" She spat venomously as rage engulfed her.

"That's for touching my best friend," Beatrice smirked crossing her two arms on her chest daring her to do something weird and get the beating of her life.

"Don't you have anything to do than just saving this slut from us?" Bella purred as she took a step closer to Beatrice.

Beatrice moved closer to her, now that's one thing I like about Beatrice, being the bold crazy-ass she is.

"Seems the slap I gave the whore you call a friend isn't enough yet, I can make it times two for you," Beatrice said sweetly as she raised her hands about to strike Bella.

"Beatrice don't!!!" I whispered yelled getting up fully on my feet.

Everyone was keen as they watched the heated scene between Beatrice, Jenny, and her crew.

"Are you okay?" I felt someone wrap his hand around my waist protectively.

I looked up to find those cute Chestnut eyes staring deeply at Me.

I nodded as I cleaned the tears that slipped down my face smiling wearily.

"Let's go," He said as he held my hand and was about to walk away.

"Not so fast, savior knight!" A deep voice said behind us that made all the hair on my body stand up while I stayed glued to a spot.

Charles looked back and I found myself doing so also as those pair of green eyes bored into my inner soul.

Even with his gaze, I was terrified.

I found myself squeezing Charles's hands tightly not wanting him to disappear away.

I can't stand being with him alone, my tormentor, the number one person I hate most this life.

He's the cause of my miserable life and I would never forgive him for that.

The two gods as I would say stared at each other daring one another to make a move.

Lucas's eyes trailed to where I was holding Charles's hands dearly for my life.

His jaw clenched as he fisted tightly.

'Good Lord, please soften his heart just for a bit.' I cried bitterly in myself.

"Little Sparrow, come over here," He ordered.

I swallowed the saliva increasing in my mouth contemplating whether to listen to his words or not.

"She's going nowhere with you," Charles said protectively as he hid me behind his back.

Lucas's eyes shot blood as he kept releasing and fisting his hands preparing them for a fight.

"You heard him, go meet him," Ben appeared behind Lucas as he gave us an evil smirk.

"She's going nowhere with this monster," Charles fired back glaring at him.

"You know it's good for someone to mind his own business always and stop being nosy," Ben said as he messaged both of his hands together making the cracking sounds of his bones heard.

"What did you just call me?" Lucas growled taking a step closer.

'Oh no! This won't end well!' I thought badly in my mind.

Everyone had gathered making a circle around us.

"I said you're monster," Charles gritted and that was all Lucas needed before he landed a mind-blasting blow on Charles's jawline.

I screamed as Charles staggered while I tried to support him.

Everyone echoed encouraging Lucas the more.

"Camilla move back," Charles warned before he returned Lucas with a mind-blasting blow too just that Lucas didn't stagger as he did.

"Oohed!!!" Everyone echoed enjoying the fight.

"Oh no! This is bad," I muttered no one dares hit Lucas back or his buddies.

They were known to be the terrifying gangster of the school.

Lucas spat as his hand come up to his lips cleaning the blood that oozes out of it.

His eyes sparked as he saw the blood and gave Charles another thunderous blow again, I yelped loudly confused about what to do.

Charles raised his hands to return the blowback just then Ben hit him hard in the stomach making him groan badly.

"Please stop!!" I begged already crying as I watched how Ben tackled Charles on the floor giving him a blow restlessly on the floor.

"Leave this to me!" Lucas said murderously.

Ben stood up from Charles with an evil chuckle, "we warned you to stay away from this."

Charles tried to stand but was hit immediately by Lucas making him lose balance and fell to the floor again.

'I have to do something, something!!' I thought crazily.

I can't let Lucas kill this guy for my sake.

I felt so angry, timid, and scared at the same time maybe this was the moment I had to stand up for myself and stop putting those that try to help me in danger.

"Lucas stop!!!" I screamed on top of my voice but he didn't listen and continued punching him.

'Where are all the teachers in this school?'

"Shut up nerd, you cause all this in the first place," A girl said.

"I don't know what they see in her, now guys are even fighting because of her," Another said.

Like seriously are they blaming me now.

I ran up to Lucas as I tried holding him back.

"Lucas please stop!" I begged to cry as I held his shirt.

"Get away from me slut!" He roared as he stood up from Charles facing me.

"You're are nothing but a crazy psychopath that needs a check-up in the hospital, what did I ever do to you or your bastard friends, why must you make life a living hell. I hate you with every being of my body Lucas Liam," I shouted angrily with all the frustration in my body as I looked him in the eyes without breaking contact for the first time in my life.

His eyes grew, even more, darker as he moved closer to me.

"What did you just say?" He growled.

And I did the craziest thing in my life.
