Chapter 3 SQUARE ONE

The hurt in my chest became so much that I started screaming in frustration, I banged on the windows hoping someone outside could hear me

"get me out of here, someone help"I screamed

"Will you fucking stop that, it's irritating me" he said but I didn't care.

I kept screaming and banging the windows until he parked beside the road.

Everywhere was quiet and lonely, I've seen scenes like this in movies, where the killer kills his captive and dumps the body by the road and it felt like this was about to be my case.

My thoughts made my heart start beating at its fastest, my anger had turned into fear.

He opened the door and grabbed my face harshly

"I'm sorry" I begged for life, I didn't feel like dying yet

"you won't irritate me again, okay?"I nodded quickly

"put this on"he gave me a blindfold which I put on immediately.

I kept my mouth shut halfway through the drive, it was almost a long drive, the car stopped and he came to take me, I followed his every step even if I didn't know what was happening.

We stopped and I still had no idea about what was going on until I felt his hand gently take mine and raise it above my head and he did the same to the other, he firmly held my hands in the air with one hand, i could smell him, he was so close that I could feel his hot breath on my face.

I flinched at the touch of cold metal around my wrist, I felt the metal go around my wrist continuously and it got attached to something.

I didn't feel good about this, I didn't know where we were but I had a strong feeling that I was back to square one, this was the same position I was in the first time he took me, even if I knew what was going on, a little part of me hope I was wrong.

I inhaled as his hot breath hit my ear, he untied the blindfold and slowly took it off.

The first thing I laid my eyes on was his chest which was visible through his half-buttoned shirt, I raised my head to meet his eyes and all I saw was calmness, no anger like I expected but I knew he saw the anger and fear in mine, my eyes were locked with his till he created a distance between us.

I looked around and I was right, I was back in the same empty room, tied up like I was before, I never knew this would happen cause I never thought he'd find me but he did.

I couldn't control my tears as they uncontrollably rushed out of my eyes, I didn't know what he'd do to me but I was scared cause any decision he took wouldn't be in my favour.

"Will you kill me?"I managed to ask between tears but he didn't answer, he came closer to the extent that my nose was a few inches from his chest, he was way taller than I was that he had to raise my head to look into his eyes and seeing that he was chill about everything made me triple scared, he's chillness made it difficult to read what was going on in his head

"you hurt your ankle?" he asked and I nodded still looking at him like I was seeking the furiousness in his eyes

"That's what happens to girls who don't obey instructions"I watched him go down on one knee, I didn't understand how that made me feel but seeing him taking my leg on his lap and gently touching my swollen ankle made the pain lessen.

What was wrong with me? I was meant to be angry at this man but Instead, I felt touched by what he was doing.

He stood up and fixed himself before leaving.

As he shut the door it dawned on me, I watched myself take the stupidest decision of my life, I didn't know what exactly went wrong with me, from the moment he took me into his car to this very moment, I couldn't control everything about myself and his eyes, they just had something in them, something I couldn't figure out.

My arms were aching, my ankle was on fire, my tummy rumbling, and I was thirsty too.

I gave up trying to release myself, the more I did, the more I got hurt.

I thought he left me here to die but after what felt like hours there he was standing far from me, I never expected to see him again

"please sir" I barely said, I couldn't see myself continuing in the pain

He came closer and took the chains off, I didn't see that coming but I was happy even if I couldn't feel my arms.

I collapsed on him, I'd lost all my strength and I couldn't stand properly.

While holding me he took the blindfold from the front pocket of his shirt and covered my eyes with it, I didn't know why he always blindfolded me but knowing that it meant that his taking me with him made me feel less worried.
