Chapter 5 LATE

Hannah was the first one to fall asleep while mia still plan on playing with her phone a little bit as it she us not ready to sleep yet .She later decided to drop her phone as she laid flat on her back closing her eyes she thought of everything that has happened today which made her smile then she remembered the little incident that happened at the restaurant she really wanted to know who he was ,he seems different she thought "I wonder who he is "she decided to not ponder on it further and she slept

The next morning mia woke up to see hannah is still sleeping. She let out a yawn using the back of her palm to cover mouth she laid flat on her back closing her eyes she took deep breaths then she heard a knock she looked around when she heard the same knock again followed by a chirping sound her head snapped towards the window walking towards it she notice a little bird opening the window she stared at it ,the bird is a multicoloured bird ,8he carefully reached out hand to touch it but it flew away she stared at the direction the bird flew .

She looked at hannah who was still in her dreamland she silently left the room trying not to wake the latter up .Going downstairs she went to the kitchen ,wash the dishes and cleaned up the kitchen. Opening the cupboard ,she took out the ingredients she needed to prepare breakfast, she took out the eggs and the seasonings as she plans on preparing toast bread as she was preparing it she foot steps and hannah came to the kitchen to find mia preparing breakfast for the two of them with a sleepy voice she said" good morning her eyes looking sleepy which mia took note of "good morning to you too" she greeted back " did you have a good sleep?" Hannah asked while stretching her body "of course I did did you think I was going to have a nightmare mia replied as Hannah sat down to notice her breakfast and this made her stomach growl rubbing her belly she got up and took her toast while opening the fridge to take out the jug of juice and pouring two glasses.

In excitement Hannah took the toast from the plate taking a bite she closed her eyes and moan in satisfaction. The two had their food while discussing some casual things after their breaking Hannah offered to wash the dishes while mia went back to the room to have her bath as she didn't want to miss class. Inside the bathroom mia prepared to take her bath as she took off her clothes and stood under the shower using the soap to was her body.

She came out with a towel wrapped around her body she took out her clothes from the wardrobe as it isn't the first time she has spend the night at Hannah's place so some of her things are always available. After she was done wearing her cloth she went downstairs to see Hannah seating lazily on the couch as she got busy with her phone"don't you have classes today?" mia asked"nope"Hannah smiled then she continued"I'll come and meet you as soon as your classes are over, okay"getting her textbooks mia replied "fine do as you wish just don't be late"putting her phone aside "good bye and take care"Hannah said in a baby voice "you too miss reply as she exited the house leaving Hannah who got busy with her phone again as she laid back on the couch.

Mia took her main classes before heading to attend her martial art class "it's not a surprise that mia Hannah decided to skip this class"mia thought while walking into the class the teacher in charge was not there yet and Mia decided to warm up along with some others while some just sit around and talking about irrelevant things. During the warm up a brown haired girl approached mia and asked "is Hannah coming?"turn to look at her "no"replied mia knowing the girl was going to ask more but before the brown haired girl could ask any questions the teacher came in and everyone dropped whatever they were doing and took their positions.

Class was already over and Mia came out of the college building she had already walked a few distance as she brought out her phone to call mia ,she didn't notice the approaching car until it passed by her almost hitting her as a result catching mia by surprise as she expecting that to happen. She saw the blue car come to an halt and a young lady stepped if the car wearing a yellow sleeveless short gown that exposed her white legs ,her long brown hair was combed to the side with a heavy make up but even with that mia could recognize her any where. She walked towards mia with her silver high heeled shoe a smile on her face as if she just one a lottery. Sasha stopped right in front of mia a smirk appearing on her face right after"I was hoping the driver would hit ,that way you can end up at the hospital"she said still wearing that smirk on her face.

This had mia narrow her eyes she was about to call Hannah who promised to meet her as soon as she finished class but mia wasn't expecting Sasha to show up, figuring it is her car mia new Sasha told the driver to drive pass and almost hitting her on purpose "she still hasn't changed" mia thought Sasha has always been deceitful,they were attending the same college until her parents made her study abroad

"what are you doing here?"mia asked finding that Sasha wouldn't come there without a reason "why?"sasha smiled "am I not allowed to come here"? looking at mia and sizing her up and down she wondered why mia was still leaving a good life she wanted her to leave in poverty sasha knew that mia can still afford some expensive things but not all and she was still not satisfied with the way mia is living comfortably Sasha came there today see if there are any difference in Mia's life and she was not satisfied with what she found but that didn't mean she can't make her life miserable

"hey why aren't you with your car?"Sasha said mockingly as she covered her mouth in Surprise as if she was not expecting it chuckling she continued"oh I forgot,you don't have a car too bad ,or maybe it's because you don't know how to drive lucky for you I can teach you how to drive you would need it"

mia knew what Sasha was trying to do so instead of getting angry she said "I appreciate that but....she drawled I don't think I'm going to need it . something tells me that your driver is the one who needs and you would make a good driving instructor for your driver it suits you Sasha wanted to reply as she was already fuming but mia beat her to it "and just so you know...she sized her up and down "all this...mia used her index finger to emphasize on her dressing "... doesn't suit you"and with that she made Sasha feel humiliated as she walked leaving Sasha whose face was turning as red as a tomato as she felt like killing mia .Mia on the other hand felt satisfied because she knew what she said to Sasha was enough to make her feel humiliated.however seeing Sasha today made her remember her pasts

In anger sasha stormed into the car and angrily told the driver to start the car "I'll get you for this"she made a mental note to get back at mia as she bit on her nails trying to vent her anger on something,a few minutes passed and she took out a mirror to check her reflection at the same time adjusting her make up which couldn't do anything in hiding her anger
