Chapter 5 5

"Athena didn't know how to react as Hades carried her from the storage room to the clinic. He said he could walk now, but he didn't pay attention. 'It's a good thing no one saw us,' said the girl in her mind.

"What are you doing here?" Hades asked as he carefully laid the girl down on the clinic's soft bed.

"I-I was just instructed to bring your box there."

Hades winced when he didn't see a single nurse inside the clinic. They didn't seem to be there because the nurses were on their lunch break.

The young man immediately looked for the first aid kit and approached Athena, and she knelt in front of him. Athena's face turned red as she saw the young man kneel down. She suddenly felt like Cinderella in their position.

Hades grabbed Athena's leg roughly and examined the wound. Athena's heart beat faster as she felt something like electricity run through her leg.

"It seems deep," the young man grimaced and took the alcohol and cotton balls, gently wiping Athena's wound.

Athena bit her lip as she felt the pain caused by the alcohol. Hades noticed immediately. "Does it hurt?"

The girl nodded slightly.

What must have been a very painful treatment for her wound was made easier by Hades' gentle touch. He also felt that he was being too careful while applying the cotton balls to her wound.

Hades carefully lifted the girl's leg to wrap her wound with a bandage, as the nail scratch on her leg was quite long.

Holding and touching Athena was like holding a delicate vase.

"P-How did you know we were in the storage room?" Athena broke the silence.

Hades finished bandaging. "I saw him jump off the building and just ran. When I followed him, I saw that he was following you," he said. "I was late, because a professor in the engineering course bumped into me," he added.

"M-Thank you very much. If you hadn't come, maybe something worse would have happened to me," Athena gave him a faint smile.

Hades nodded curtly and put his clenched fist in his pocket. He badly wanted to retaliate when he remembered how that b4st4rd had touched Athena's legs.

'How dare he touch what's mine.'

"Are you sleepy?" Hades asked, noticing the girl's wide eyes.

She nodded slightly.

"Sleep," he said.

The girl slowly lifted her leg off the bed. Hades looked away when he saw that her short skirt had shifted, revealing more of her smooth, white thighs.

Athena wrapped herself in a comforter and lay down. She closed her eyes.

When he was sure the girl was asleep, he approached her. She seemed to be fast asleep.

He gently touched her cheek. Because of what had happened, he wanted to protect the girl to ensure that no one would come near her.

Overthinking plagued his mind. What if he hadn't seen the man earlier? Maybe he could have done something bad to Athena.

He brought his face closer to hers and gently kissed her forehead. "Soon, baby."

He stood up and opened the door. The two nurses, looking surprised, greeted him.

Hades pointed at the sleeping Athena. "Look after her. Make sure you feed her when she wakes up," he said, then passed the two nurses.

His eyes scanned the area.

He took out his phone and texted a member of the student council.

"Tell Professor Leonila Sorelanza and her professors that Athena Caprice Sullivan won't attend their class due to an injury. Also, tell her friends named Mia Cortez, Summer Domingo, and Rafael San Diego to visit her during the lunch break."

"Will do."

After reading that, he clenched his fist. Six men had attacked Athena. They had no right to stare or touch her, and they never will.

He couldn't blame the girl for her beauty. But men with wandering hands and eyes, yes.

'Now, what will I do to that f-cking b-stard?'

"What happened to Athena?"

"I also don't know. We were just called here, eh. The student council didn't say anything earlier either."

"It's really awful whoever hurt Athena."

I slowly opened my eyes when I heard Mia's voices. They turned to me.

"OMG WAKE UP!"

"ARE YOU OKAY? WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU?"

"ATHENA, WE WERE WORRIED WHEN YOU DIDN'T COME BACK TO THE ROOM!"

I closed my eyes because the three of them were practically yelling in the clinic.

I slowly sat up and placed the comforter on my lap.

"Hey, are you okay! Answer us!"

Summer nudged Rafaela. "Jeez, he just woke up, okay."

"I'm sorry."

I felt Mia sit next to me and hug me. "What happened to you? We were so worried when we heard you were in the clinic," Mia sniffed.

I scratched the back of my neck and told them the whole incident. They listened intently. The three of them took a deep breath and ran their palms over their faces.

"That Julius is really a jerk. I think he's been in too many fights because no one likes him anymore, so he's even starting with you," Summer said angrily.

"Yeah, buddy. Plus, he has that creepy smile, like a pervert."

Mia stood quietly to the side, fists clenched. I held his hand. He looked at me with anger in his eyes.

"I-I'm fine."

"It's a good thing President Hades came." I nodded. It really is.

"True, your president is like a superhero swooping in to save the day."

"What do you think the punishment for Julius should be? Especially since President Hades saw it," the four of us exchanged glances.

Hades froze when he heard Athena's voice outside the SSG office. 'What is she doing here? She should be resting.'

"President Lawliet, you have a visitor." He looked up when he saw Athena's shadow.

He slowly closed the door and sat near her.

"What are you doing here? You should be resting," he said, frowning.

"A-Ano kasi," the young woman looked away and adjusted her seat slightly. "I-I just want to know what h-happened to J-Julius."

Hades closed the book he was reading. Overthinking struck his head again. Is she concerned about that guy?

He leaned back in the chair and looked at her coldly. "The student council decided to expel him."

Athena froze when she heard Hades' answer. Expelled? That fast?'

"If you're thinking of convincing us to take back our decision, well, it won't work, Athena Caprice," her hair stood on end when she heard his cold voice.

He did not realize that the young man was already in front of him, staring intently at him.

"What he did is unforgivable. He's tarnishing the name of the University. Tell me, do you forgive him?" his voice and gaze were sharp.

She immediately shook her head. "N-No, I'm just surprised."

"Is that what you wanted to know?"

Athena nodded. "I-I also want to thank you very much. I-If you hadn't come, m-maybe-" the girl's voice broke, but she composed herself. "W-What can I do to repay you for your help?" Athena looked Hades straight in the eye.

The young man was stunned by this question. Many words played in his mind. 'What if I want you to be mine? Are you willing to say yes?' He wanted to say those words, but he didn't want to surprise or scare her.

He bowed slightly so that his face was level with the girl's. Her beautiful face looked at him innocently. Hades bit his lip.

"This will do," he gently touched Athena's chin and brought her face closer. Their lips met, which surprised Athena.

Recovering from the shock, she wrapped her arms around his neck. Instead of pushing him away, she welcomed his lips on hers wholeheartedly.

A few seconds later, their lips parted. They gasped for breath.

"P-President-"

"Hades, Hades will do, baby," he interrupted and once again captured the girl's lips. Just like before, Athena returned Hades' kisses.

Athena found herself on the young man's lap as he kissed her lips tirelessly. His breathing became heavy when he felt her hand gently squeezing his thigh and waist.

His heart was beating very fast. He felt different now. Brand new to him.

He doesn't know how to kiss. Hades is definitely her first kiss. She doesn't have any idea how happy Hades is. 'Being her first is so d-mn-'

They didn't know how many minutes they had been kissing. They didn't care about their surroundings; their full attention was on each other.

They broke the kiss, and Hades pressed his forehead to Athena's. They were both gasping for breath after their tireless kiss.

"D-mn, I didn't know that your lips are sweeter than I thought," Athena's hair stood on end and she bent down to hide her blushing face against the young man's neck.

Hades laughed softly and gently squeezed her thigh. He secretly looked at her white creamy legs. He didn't realize that his hand was already there.

He brushed away strands of Athena's hair that were blocking her face. His cheeks were red and his eyes were wide.

"What are you feeling?" he gently caressed her cheeks. He smiled sparingly. "F-Fine. I-I thought it was just a dream."

Hades' mouth dropped open. He swore that Athena looked at his lips. He smiled. "Does she think I'm a dream?"

"You're not dreaming, This is all real, baby," the girl smiled as she nuzzled her face into Hades' neck, making him laugh softly.
