A small white dog immediately jumps onto the bed, approaching Yoshiki.
"Auff, auff," the dog playfully barks.
"Morning, Melody," he strokes his dog's fur.
The dog affectionately licks him, making him laugh.
"Melody, alright, let's go have breakfast."
He adores his dog so much that he feeds it and forgets that he hasn't eaten anything yet.
"What happened last night?" he recalls while lying on the long sofa.
"Mr. Yoshiki, thank you for the charity you provided."
Yoshiki smiles and waves at the camera.
"I'm glad to do it."
"Why did you give such a large donation? You've donated all your funds to charity."
"Ah, it's no big deal. After giving all this money, the spirits of their deceased family members seemed to thank me for providing funds to my living family. I can see them very clearly."
They laugh, thinking Yoshiki is just joking.
"Alright, thank you very much, Yoshiki-san."
Yoshiki has just returned from a television show. He enters his mansion, feeling very tired. He hears laughter and the sound of bottles smashing inside. Hyde is drunk in his house.
"Yo, Yoshiki!" Hyde mumbles, heavily intoxicated, with tears streaming down his face and a bottle of wine in his hand.
"Mr. Hyde, what's going on?"
Hyde offers the wine bottle right in front of his friend's face, with a desperate expression. "Enjoy tonight, I'm really, really exhausted."
Yoshiki takes the empty wine bottle and throws it away.
"Hyde, I'm going to my room, and don't forget to clean up all this mess."
He looks at Hyde, who is already asleep, then takes a blanket and covers his friend. Yoshiki cleans up all the chaos caused by his friend, and after a while, feeling exhausted, he checks the time, it's already 3 AM. He decides to go to his room without changing his clothes and lies down on his bed.
*Click!* The room lights go out, and the small scented candles around the bed illuminate the room.
Quietly, the blanket moves on its own, covering Yoshiki's body. He notices a figure embracing him from behind, holding his hand.
"Good evening, Hide."
Once again, tears flow from Yoshiki's eyes as he closes them.
"That's right, he made this house a complete mess. I'll see what's in the fridge."
He opens the refrigerator door and places his fist in front of his lips, chuckling.
"My turkey is missing, and there are traces right there."
Melody just gazes at him playfully while barking.
"I won't blame you, Melody."
He walks back to the sofa and his phone keeps ringing.
"Yes, wait."
Yoshiki turns off his phone and heads to the bathroom to freshen up before returning to work.
"No breakfast, okay."
After getting ready, he picks up Melody and takes her to the car.
"Is he at home? He's a dog lover, so I think he'll take care of you, Melody."
"Auff... auff."
"Sorry, I want to take you to the studio, but I have no other way."
"Auff... auff... auff." Melody keeps nuzzling Yoshiki and licking his neck, making him laugh.
"Alright, alright. Seeing you like this, I'd rather face a big problem. I can't leave my puppy and Hide to someone else."
He quickly starts the car and heads to the recording studio. On the way, he encounters people waiting for him, and two reporters approach.
"What made you decide to bring a dog here?"
Yoshiki carries Melody, who continues to bark playfully.
"Melody, you're a good dog. I can't leave a good dog alone at my house."
He quickly enters his room and meets another famous artist in Japan.
"Cute dog," another artist comments.
"Thank you, aunty."
"Yoshiki, I've been waiting for you for a long time. You have to record the weather forecast now."
"Ah, well... please take care of Melody."
Yoshiki performs the weather forecast recording at a TV station flawlessly, and everyone in the studio applauds him.
"Amazing, Yoshiki!"
"Thank you, everyone."
He returns to his room and sees Melody eating someone's cake.
"Oh my, forgive me. I'll replace the cake right away."
"No need, Mr. Yoshiki."
"I'm sorry, I really apologize."
"It's alright, my dog does it too," she says, carrying her dog.
"You're a dog lover too?"
"Yes, sir. My name is Rose, and I'm a dog lover. How many dogs do you have?"
"Just Melody."
"I have twenty dogs."
"Wow, that's impressive."
"You're a dog lover, but why do you only take care of one dog?"
"We don't have time."
"Time issues? You must be busy and overwhelmed taking care of all of them."
