Chapter 4 A new cook

"Did she just slap you"

"You watched her lay hands on me and you couldn't do anything " Emily said, transferring her aggression to Danielle.

"I..I... didn't know when that happened" Danielle stammered.

"Don't talk to me until you deal with her" Emily said and stormed out of there with her cheek still red.

-CLOSING PERIOD-

"Hey kids, Harrison called as her saw Emily and Evans standing at a corner.

They went to where he was and Evans greeted him.

"Good afternoon" he greeted.

"Afternoon Evans, what happened to Emily's cheek, it's so red" Harrison asked when he noticed how red her cheek were.

"I don't know, I've been asking her since but she didn't reply me so I left her alone" Evans said.

"Alright, no problem. Get inside the car." Harrison said.

Ω GEORGE'S MANSION Ω

Harrison drove into the compound, Emily got down from the vehicle and ran inside the mansion , heading to her room. She sat on the bed and recalled how Kyra slapped her. She began to tear up as she checked how red her cheek was in the mirror.

Rachel heard her crying and went to meet her in her room.

"Lee, what's wrong?" She asked.

"Who gave you the permission to come in" Emily said with a teary eyes.

"I heard you crying so I decided to come check on you."

"Leave" Emily said.

"Feel free to tell me what's bothering you"

"Am I really rude" Emily asked.

"Before I answer that,why did you ask?"

"Everyone believes I'm rude, no one wants to associate with me except from Danielle. Can you believe that an ordinary gardner's daughter slapped me in school today, take a look at my cheek. It's so red" Emily said showing Heaven her cheek.

"Firstly, I would be sincere to you. You are very rude,you lack home training. You are too quick to insult people. You also need to learn how to respect those older than you regardless of their financial status. Never look down on people because your father is a billionaire,no one can predict the future. I might not be in the best position to correct you but I'll say the little I can. So please tried to change your attitude towards people" Heaven said and left the room.

-LATER IN EVENING-

Heaven waited in the living hoping to see George but he hasn't arrived yet. Within some minutes, she heard the horn of his car at the gate. Drake open the gate using a remote control.

"Good evening sir" he greeted as George came down from the vehicle.

"Evening Drake"

George went in and met Heaven pacing to and fro in the living room. She didn't even notice when George came in.

George didn't bother calling her,he went straight to the stairs heading towards him master bedroom but she eventually saw him.

"Mr Bills" she called.

George looked back when he heard his name.

"What is it"

" Nothing sir,I was just greeting you"

"Alright" George said and left for his room.

"Gosh, why is he so cold" Heaven muttered to herself.

-NEXT MORNING-

"Good morning Mr Bills"

The maids greeted , bowing.

George ignored their greeting as usual.

"Daddy!!" Emily and Evans rushed to him and they both hugged him.

"Sunshines, hope you slept well" he asked.

"Yes daddy" they both chorused.

"Alright, daddy needs to go to work. I'll tell Thomas to drop you at school today" George said.

"Daddy, please can you change our cook" Emily said.

"Why cutie" George asked.

"Honey doesn't know how to cook well. Her food is really terrible. It's because you don't eat at home that is why you didn't bother about it" Emily explained.

"I'm sorry cutie,you know I'm very busy. Ok fine I'll change her"

"Can't the maid cook?" Evans asked.

"Dad maybe you should ask her if she can cook" Emily suggested.

"I thought you don't like her" Evans said.

"Yeah, that was then. I think I'm beginning to like her. She is even cute" Emily said and smiled.

"Alright, I'll ask her if she can cook" George said.

"Where is she" he asked.

"I think she is cleaning the guest room" Evans said.

"Call her , tell her I want to see her" George said.

"Ok dad" Evan said and went to call her.

"Ma'am, daddy wants to see you in the living room" Evans informed.

"Me?"

"Yes"

"Oh..ok, on my way "

"Dad, she's coming" Evans said.

"Alright"

"Good morning Mr Bills"

"Morning,hum.., Emily complained about the cook's food so I decided to change her. Can you cook?" George asked.

" Sir?"

"You heard me right"

"Hum...Yes sir"

"Alright,you would be the cook from now henceforth" George said.

"Is that okay by you " he asked

"Y..es sir" Heaven stammered.

"Cuties,I need to go now" George said and pecked his kids on their foreheads before leaving the house.

"So can you cook something delicious for us before coming back" Emily asked.

"Something like what" Heaven asked.

"Friend rice" Emily and Evans chorused with excitement.

"Ok,no problem. I'll try my best" Heaven said.

"Bye!!" The kids said and left the outside.

They went outside and met Thomas waiting for them.

"Morning" Emily greeted.

"Morning Lee, never knew you could greet" Thomas chuckled.
