Chapter 4

Flashback

Raphael had just come back from Korea to the states. He was or is a member of the skylords. He had a little feud with Evans before leaving for Korea less than a year ago and now he was back.

More will be known about the details later. He had just entered the school premises in a face mask and face cap to avoid attracting attention to himself.

He was just passing by when he saw a group of students having fun and laughing at someone or something and that left him disturbed so he decided to take a look.

He suspected they were bullying someone. So he shoved everyone aside gradually and on getting to the front he saw a girl falling and quickly caught her.

Raphael sifted strands of hair from her face and having a clear look face, his gaze sifted from her ocean blue eyes down to her red lips and what a dazzling beauty she was.

"Hey who the hell are you and what do you think you are doing". Lucy's voice jolted him out of his thoughts.

However he just kept quiet and stared at them. They haven't stopped this nonchalant attitude of theirs since I left.

"Are you deaf or do you need a hearing aid" Bruce said clenching his fist.

"You know its been a while he took on someone, so for your own safety drop the girl and leave" Chris said putting across a warning.

Raphael dropped the girl and looked at the pitiful state she was in. Why must they always be inhumane he thought to himself.

"You may go" Evans said but he brought out a handkerchief and started cleaning her up not

minding the voices howling at him.

"It seems like he is deaf, get him Bruce" Evans said.

Bruce walked forward to meet Raphael who smiled beneath his mask as he remembered how they never really defeated themselves when they always fought.

Bruce threw a punch at Raphael who met his fist with his and he moved back not because of

the impact but because of the shock.

'How could just anyone withstand my punch' Bruce thought looking at his fists then at the strange visitor before him obviously shocked. Anyone he had punched either landed in the hospital or fainted on the spot so he always held back while doing so. But this time he didn't hold back.

The whole students of SkyHigh were stunned as virtually everyone in SkyHigh was there to witness the scene. Who would want to miss that.

Who is he.

How did he do that.

How strong is he.

Everyone was deep in thoughts.

Even Evans and chris jaw dropped at the sight of what unfolded right before them.

"Who are you" Bruce asked.

Raphael slowly removed his face cap, before proceeding to remove his mask and a loud gasp escaped the crowd.

"Raphael" Bruce stuttered falling back.

'What Raphael is back'

'I thought he will never come back'

'The archangel is back'

The students kept chattering.

Back then Evans would always call himself a god and Raphael the archangel jokingly but since then Raphael was also referred to as the archangel.

"Raphael,is that you" Lucy said covering her mouth with her hands as she was surprised.

"You are back bro" Chris said smiling.

Evans and Raphael kept staring daggers at themselves. It was like a staring contest.

"Won't you say your greeting lil bro" Raphael said smiling.

"Why are you back" Evans asked putting on a mean face.

"Well,this reunion is not all that pleasant. Lets pretend we never met here then, so i have to go and she is going with me" Raphael said pointing at the girl on the ground as he didn't know her or her name.

"You are not going anywhere with her" Evans said.

"You have no option" Raphael said carrying her in his arms and then going out with her to where his car was parked.

The driver opened the car waiting for him to get in with her. He kept her at the backseat before going to sit at the front beside the driver and they drove out.

What a beautiful angel. What could her name be. How could Evans think of hurting such an

angel.

"Maybe she is the sole reason I decided to drop by at school today" Raphael said smiling.

"Sir" the driver called thinking Raphael was talking to him.

"It's nothing. Keep on driving."

"Yes young master."

"Mom,dad I am sorry,I couldn't save your present" Raphael heard Diana say in her sleep and he wondered what she meant by that.

They drove to Raphael's mansion and he took her in.

As soon as he got into the mansion all the staff started bowing.

"Oh master just came back and he has already brought a girl back home"

"Why is she In a mess. Did he pick her up from the trenches."

The maids kept giggling among themselves.

"Welcome young master. Should we prepare a room for her" The butler asked.

"No don't worry she is staying in my room. Just get everything prepared to clean and freshen

her up" Raphael ordered when he suddenly realized the state she was in and that he might get stained but he didn't care.

"Yes young master" he replied before leaving to carry out the orders.

Raphael took her upstairs and laid her on his bed and it took a while before he could finally get his eyes off her.

Just then Diana opened her eyes and looked at someone hovering over her.

"Like what the fuck, Raphael is back and he seems stronger. Aarrghh!" Bruce screamed as he with Evans and Chris got into the Skylords mansion.

"Common aren't you happy he is back and we are complete again" Chris said relaxing his

head on the sofa.

"Of cause there is always competition between friends, and he can be better than me in any

aspect except being stronger than me." Bruce said.

"But then it's even better if he got better because it will be more fun" Chris replied.

"He said we will meet later" Evans said sipping from the wine glass.

"Yes we should be expecting him at night" Lucy said just getting inside.

She had wanted to follow them as soon as Raphael left but then they were already gone as Evans suddenly left and the rest had to follow him.

"Evans are you not happy he is back" Bruce asked.

"Well I am,but he has the effort to call me lil bro when he is just a month older than me. Like who does that" Evans asked.

"Ralph does that" they all replied and laughed.

"I just hope nothing goes wrong again" Chris said resting his leg on a nearby stool.

Though Evans was glad he hid it to see how Raphael would react.

"Welcome back Ralph" Evans said loud enough for only him to hear before closing his eyes.

Diana opened her eyes only to see herself in a spacious exotic room and then she saw someone staring at her. Am I in heaven that I am seeing an angel. But then he's extra cute.

"Hi" he said but Diana just sat there staring at him.

"Oops my bad. Sorry for not introducing myself. I am Raphael" he said flashing a dazzling smile

and stretching his hand towards her.

"And I am diana" Diana said not taking his hands.

"Oh" Raphael said withdrawing his hand.

"How did I get here" Diana asked after remembering how she was being roughly handled before she fell unconscious.

"Well,when I came to the scene you had lost your balance and was falling so I caught you and saved you bringing you here since you were still unconscious" Raphael explained.

"Oh I remember that, but why did you save me and how did you get past them. Who are you

exactly" Diana asked curious. No one would just go to save me without joining me in the

excruciating pain I was going through then. He would also get caught in the crossfire.

"Starting with your first question,I saved you because I had to,I passed them because I was

determined and thirdly I have told you before I am Raphael" he answered all my questions.

"It's hard to believe but then I will have to since I have no choice" Diana said bluntly.

"But then how daring of you to go against the Skylords" Raphael smiled.

"Long as they are not gods or immortals I can go against whoever I want and win" Diana said, a trace of determination showing on her face.

"You are interesting" Raphael said.

"Okay, thanks but I need to go its already closing time". Diana said as she started putting on her shoes.

It was then she noticed that her cloths were all changed then she looked at the mirror and

noticed she was glowing unlike what she expected to look like after the incident.

"Hey what did you do to me!" Diana screamed at the top of her voice.

If she was putting on new cloths it could mean only one thing and she didn't want to think of that possibility.

"Did you touch me,what did you see. I feel like going crazy" Diana said scattering her hair and checking herself to make sure she was okay.

"Calm down" Raphael said holding Diana's hands and she melted instantly.

He explained how he got his butler and maids to help with that and freshing her up.

"I am sorry for yelling at you" Diana apologized.

"It's alright" he said.

He then made her sit in front of the mirror and combed her hair styling it.

Diana felt so refreshed as he did that but she just closed her eyes relishing the moment and enjoying every movement of the come back and forth her hair.

"I am done" he announced and she stood up taking a good look at herself in the mirror letting out a satisfied smile secretly.

"Thank you,I will make sure to repay you In the nearby future" Diana said looking at him straight in the eyes.

"You can pay me now"Raphael said looking at her with a killer look.

"How" Diana asked.

"You will soon get to know" he replied.

He then turned to me and started removing his shirt.

"Holy shit" Diana muttered.
