Chapter 3 ESCAPE AND REVELATION

Viola finished dressing up Alice up just in time before the blaring of the ambulance shifted her attention to the window, she ran to the front door and beckoned on them to come and see Alice inside. They did come in and quickly checked her vitals, but observed that her pulse was low so they covered her nose with oxygen mask to enable her breath well and fast before carrying her to the car.

Sam had called Viola aside and pleaded that she cover up for her but she was mad at him and asked, " cover up for you? like lying? The evidence of what you did is all over the room, I cannot cover up anything, you are so shameless and wicked and I hate you either passion!!! " she left the corner and called hee parents to inform them of what their son had done.

While they were in the process of talking, the police officers that the hospital called to the scene of the incident arrived, while the hospital was busy trying to revive Alice, the police and detectives were carrying out their investigation.

The moment Sam saw the police officers approaching their house, his survival instinct kicked in almost immediately. He decided to bury the evidence but it was too much to bury in seconds. He thought of where to start from, the rope which he used to tie Alice's legs upwards was still tied to the ceiling, the bed sheet was filled with fresh blood stains and his cum fluids, her bra was at one corner of the house where he flinched it, the container of the drug which he used was lying bare and visible in the room had one at the kitchen where he missed her drink with it, then the remains of the milk was just somewhere.

Sam was definitely confused as he picked up his phone and called his friend who had given him the drug to use and they had their argument.

" I am in real trouble because of the drugs you gave to me, the police is talking to my sister now and I don't know what she might tell them happened here, what do I do? " Sam was almost fidgeting, he went on and said " i gave her the drugs like you said and she was knocked off too like you said but I slept with her for long and could not resist the urge to go on, when I suspected that she could wake up, I forced another quantity into her mouth... " while he was still speaking.

His friend cut him short and yelled almost immediately. " you did what??? You didn't tell me that you want to fuck her, you didn't tell me that you want to do anything silly with her, I told you to use a little portion and you gulped the whole drug down her system? Come on man, you just messed up big time !!!" , Sam's friend went on and on with him as they argued.

When Sam could not bear it anymore, he aske him for solution since the have carried Alice's unconscious body and he said to Sam " Run!!! " and leave the evidence because if you try to hide the evidence, they would catch you and not only charge you for rape and sexual abuse but also with tampering of the evidence "

Sam heard what his friend said and decided to do just as he said. He followed the back and ran off from the house and only grabbed couple of things and money. He ran to his friend's house but nobody answered the door when he rang the bell, he checked through the window and noticed that things were scattered around the room, then it dawned on him that his friend had also ran off from the apartment too.

Sam took off almost immediately and boarded the next train to destination he knows nothing about. On the train he got numerous calls his sister but he did not pick up, his parents were calling and he did not pick up the calls too, he was determined to follow his immediate instincts and leave the city to far away destination.

He called his friend again but his number was no longer available so it was apparent that he has abandoned him too. " but who wouldn't? Who would stay and be jailed for years especially when he is an immigrant, he risks deportation " Sam understood the position of his friend even though he was pained by it.

Viola had finished telling the police what she believed had happened, she was polite, truthful and did not lie about what she saw, so she told the police and said " I got a call from my friend that she was in my house, so I told her to wait up for me that I would be home from where I went to, I told my brother to help me keep her company before I get home; surprisingly, bigot home and went to my room to see that my friend's leg was tied upside while my brother was naked having sex with her, at first I felt it was a mutual consent until I saw how lifeless my friend laid and the drugs that he used on her, so I had to call the hospital when I could feel weak pulses from her vein. I'm scared, I don't want anything to happen to Alice!!! " she said.

The police officers ran into the house but could not find the already running Sam, they went into the room and found the stained bed sheet, the drugs, the drink, the rope etc and quickly reported the incident for a proper search of Sam. By the time they could send descriptions of how he looks like to patrol unit, Sam had already crossed the country side to a small state, he resided there but was still on alert and scared at same time.

Alice was revived after a while in the hospital but she attempted to kill herself many times because of what happened to her, she was traumatized and could not speak to anyone. The doctors flushed her system to wash off the semen or sperm that might be inside her to avoid her getting pregnant or getting any form of infection.

She missed her college entrance exam and had to battle loneliness, shame, hatred for men, disbelief in love and trust. She would later narrate that she knew what Sam was doing but she could not move her body or say a word because of the drug that he used which paralyzed her for hours.
