Like this morning, the girl just woke up at nine in the morning. Cilla deliberately woke up late because she wanted to get a good night's sleep. Luckily, his mother didn't wake him up; she was very understanding.
Feeling that her body was already very uncomfortable, Cilla decided to take a shower and clean herself. After that, she would just leave the room to look for food because she hadn't had breakfast at all.
This time, Cilla took a long shower. For almost half an hour, the girl was in the bathroom and only came out with wet hair and a body covered with a kimono towel. Cilla immediately went into the vice with her eyes closed to wear clothes there.
It didn't take long for the girl to come out again in normal home clothes, a plain navy blue shirt and shorts. Don't forget that her hair was still wet; Cilla dried it immediately on her dressing table using a hairdryer.
Knock, knock, knock!
While drying her hair, Cilla immediately turned towards the door when she heard a knock from there.
"Honey! Wake up!" The voice that was heard was his mother's.
"Yes, Mom! I'm awake!" Cilla replied no less, shouting; she could guess that her mother just woke her up, then left again.
Cilla's guess was right; after she answered her mother's screams, there was no more sound from outside the room, which meant that her mother had left there.
"This is what it feels like to have a day off after work all the time," muttered Cilla with a happy face that was clearly visible in the reflection of the mirror in front of her.
In the past, Cilla liked to have holidays because every day she had assignments when she was still in college, but now it's different.
"Now is the time to fill the stomach; about what to do later, think again," muttered Cilla, who had finished drying her hair.
The girl immediately left the room and went down to the first floor to fill her stomach, which had been rumbling since she woke up.
"Mom," Cilla called when she saw Mommy in the living room relaxing while watching television.
Prana, who felt called out, turned around. "Cilla, have your breakfast there first; he said your sister will come home later," said the middle-aged woman, making Cilla silent for a while. It seemed that the girl was still digesting the meaning of her mother's words.
"Huh? You mean Mommy Sis William?" asked Cilla with a browfrown confused sign.
Prana casually nodded without taking his attention from the television screen. Seeing her mother nod suddenly made Cilla smile broadly. "Wow, really, Mom?"
"Yeah! You can meet Zero," Cilla continued, making Prana roll her eyes lazily.
"Yeah, Mommy's lying. Breakfast is over there already! It's great for you to meet Zero," Prana replied.
Still with a big smile on her face, Cilla answered Prana's words. "Yes, Mom, I miss Zero so much."
Zero is the child of Cilla's first sibling; the child is only three years old, which makes Cilla always passionate about Zero. Due to the very long distance between their houses, Cilla sometimes misses Zero and ends up making video calls to her brother William.
"It's not just you! Mommy too," Prana sneered, causing Cilla to shrug her shoulders indifferently. She then just left the living room and headed to the kitchen.
Arriving at the kitchen, Cilla immediately looked for rice and side dishes, then decided to just eat there in the pantry instead of having to walk towards the dining table.
As soon as she woke up this morning, Cilla's mood was getting better because of the news from her mother earlier. Cilla can't wait to meet her adorable niece.
"Well, I forgot to ask Zero what time it will arrive; if it's noon or evening, I can go to the mall first to buy a present for Zero," Cilla muttered in between her meals. However, even while thinking and sometimes daydreaming for some reason, Cilla ate her food in no time-maybe only about five minutes.
"I'll ask Mommy later," Cilla continued before sipping a glass of water as a cover for her breakfast again.
Not only that, Cilla also took apples from the fridge for her to eat; her stomach was indeed not too full, which made her dare to eat fruit too.
**
Her mother said that Zero would arrive home in the afternoon, so Cilla decided to go to the mall this afternoon. Like her original intention, Cilla was going to buy something like a present for her nephew.
Now, the girl was ready in her casual clothes, a knee-length skirt combined with a knitted sweater. Cilla's hair was simply hung up with a hair clip on the right.
Looking beautiful and cute-that's what describes Cilla's figure this afternoon. The girl didn't look like a woman in her twenties; Cilla actually looked like a girl still attending high school.
"Where are you going?"
When he reached the last step of the stairs, Cilla was immediately attacked by questions from his second older brother, Ernest. The man was seen staring at Cilla from head to toe, one of his eyebrows raised at Cilla questioningly.
Mall? Cilla answered briefly, concisely, and clearly.
Hearing that, Ernest nodded. "Alone?" asked the man once again, and Cilla answered only with a nod of the head.
"Hmm, why is that?"
Ernest shook his head. "Can I join you? I'm bored at home; I want to sleep but am bored too," she replied, causing Cilla to immediately shake her head firmly.
"No! I made an appointment with my friend when we will meet at the mall, so you don't have to come! Cilla refused firmly, not wanting her sister to come because she wanted to be alone with the close friend she mentioned.
"Oh my gosh, I won't bother you and your friends either," Ernest replied, protesting with the words Cilla said.
"Still not! Bye!"
Cilla casually continued walking past Ernest just like that, chin raised, while tossing her long, flowing hair. Seeing that made Ernest snort harshly.
"Just watch you!" growled Ernest, who started planning revenge for his sister.
After leaving Ernest alone, Cilla ended up in her car and started driving it out of her yard.
Long story short, Cilla has arrived at one of the most famous malls in New York City. Without further ado, the girl headed straight to the children's toy store area, intending to buy her nephew toys and children's clothes.
After buying Zero toys and clothes, Cilla just met her close friends from junior high school because now her friends are on their way to the mall.
"How much, sis?" Cilla asked the cashier, and she immediately paid after finishing shopping for Zero.
Unmitigated, Cilla even filled her shopping basket full of children's toys and clothes.
"All five hundred dollars in total, sis."
Cilla casually nodded and took out her credit card at the cashier. The girl didn't seem to mind the total amount spent on Zero.
"Thank You."
Cilla nodded while receiving two grocery bags. "You're welcome."
For her meeting place with her friends, Cilla decided to go to One Café, which is in the mall, and wait for her friend to come there.
"Excuse me, I ordered two green lattes and chocolate pancakes," Cilla said to the waiters who were there.
As information, Cilla is so close to her friend; both of them like the drinks and pancakes that Cilla ordered, so the girl is not confused about what to order for her friend.
"Okay, anything else?"
Cilla shook her head at the question from the male waiter. "No, thank you."
"Okay, wait a minute, sis." After Cilla nodded again, the waitress left Cilla, who was sitting in the corner of the cafe. For some reason, Cilla likes the corner.
While waiting for Cilla to play with her cellphone, she opened her social media account before uploading the photo that was taken when she was about to enter the cafe.
"Cilla?"
Cilla suddenly looked up; her eyes immediately widened when she saw her friend had arrived and was standing next to the other table.
"Aaa, Ria! I really miss you," Cilla exclaimed, a little excited, as she stood up and hugged her friend tightly.
Cilla's friend named Ria also smiled faintly and gave up when she saw the gazes of several cafe visitors who were directed at the two of them, but Ria couldn't help but hug Cilla no less tightly.
Ria is Cilla's special nickname; the girl's name is actually Victoria, or her other friends usually call her Victoria, but Cilla is different, and Victoria doesn't mind it.
"I also really miss you, Cilla, but can your voice not be conditioned? I'm a little embarrassed because some people here look at us because you are a little excited," Victoria replied with an uncomfortable smile; earlier, she even grimaced in embarrassment because of Cilla.
Cilla, who heard that, suddenly let go of their embrace, then grinned like a horse. "Hehe, sorry, I was just a reflex because I was too happy to meet you, Ria."
"Hey, come on, sit down! I ordered you drinks and our favorite pancakes," Cilla continued, inviting Victoria to sit in front of her.
"Yes, thanks, Cilla; you are the best and most understanding friend," Victoria replied, smiling happily, showing her crooked teeth that had made Cilla jealous from the start.
Yes, Cilla is jealous of Victoria, who has crooked teeth that can add to her sweet and cute impression. Cilla wanted those teeth on her, but she realized that she didn't seem grateful enough. A little jealousy remained in Cilla when she saw Victoria smiling broadly.
"Haha, indeed, I'm good," said Cilla, pretending to be confident while laughing.
Along with the girl who suppressed her laughter came the waitress who delivered her order earlier. It was quite a while, according to Cilla, who had been waiting all this time; it seemed like it took less than five minutes for her to wait for her order.
"Thank You." In unison, Cilla and Victoria simultaneously said those words after their orders were placed on the table.
"Everyone, have fun, Sis."
And again, both compactly nodded their heads at the same time. This made the two reflexively laugh together just by looking into each other's eyes, as if they understood what they were laughing at.
"By the way, they said you just started working at Alexander's Corp.; how about it? Wouldn't it be nice to be the CEO's secretary?" Victoria started to open the chat by asking about Cilla's job.
Cilla was silent for a moment before laughing, as if she were laughing at something funny. "Haha, good or bad, really," he answered casually, inviting more questions from Victoria.
"How about that? What's good is obvious; where's the bad part?" Victoria asked because she was still confused about how Cilla still said it wasn't good. For Victoria, being Cilla is completely comfortable because, in terms of salary and how Cilla works, she is even luckier than herself. Maybe, according to Victoria, her friend became busier or even very busy.
"My boss is annoying," Cilla answered without thinking.
"You mean the CEO of Alexander's Corp."
Cilla nodded, making Victoria more interested in the topic of their conversation. "How annoying?" asked Victoria for the umpteenth time.
"He's arrogant, arrogant, and just annoying!" Cilla answered, still remembering Leon's annoying behavior a few days ago.
"Handsome, isn't it?"
Cilla glared sharply at Victoria. "Fill your head handsomely! continues!"
"It's useless to be handsome if you're annoying and arrogant!" continued Cilla with a tone of disapproval.
Victoria glowed. "That means the CEO of Alexander's Corp. is handsome, Cil? So, how confused is his face? Next time, take me to the Alexander's Corp. office, please!" He said it with great enthusiasm.
Once again, because Leon rarely appears in public, Victoria doesn't know what this man looks like, and Cilla was like that before. At first, Cilla was curious, but after working as the man's secretary, she became so curious again that she actually regretted her curiosity.
