Chapter 4 A contract

"Mr Patrick, what do you really want in return?" She asked and face mr Patrick who had this calm look on his face.

"Nothing child, I just want to help" he smiled.

"Then why do I have to sign a file?" She asked.

"To serve as evidence that I helped you, so if anyone want to attack or abuse you, I can let them know easily that I am behind you" he said relaxing on his chair.

"Okay, then, thanks so much Mr Patrick" she said and sign the file as she pushed it back to him.

"You are welcome child" he smiled returning the file to its normal position

"Okay, I will be going to meet him now, just have 10 minutes left" she smiled and he nod returning the smile.

He hand her the address to meet with Kim Bum.

She walk out and walk to meet her secretary.

"Sarah, we need to get to this place in the next 10 minutes" Avery cooed handling Sarah the address.

"Alright Miss Kim" Sarah smiled and they both step into the car.

Few minutes later, they were already at the place.

Its even the same restaurant they left few minutes ago.

"Good luck Miss Kim" Sarah cooed relaxing on her seat.

She is going to wait for her mistress here, that her duty, she is just a personal assistant.

Avery walk to the table as her eyes landed on him, yes its him, how can she forget the tattoo on his neck so soon.

They are two, thank God their hair can help differentiate the one who shoot her.

If she finally get to meet the one whoam attempt to kill her then he is a goner.

She walk to meet him and bowed gently.

"Good evening Mr Kim" she greeted bowing.

"Evening" came his cold reply as he focused on his phone.

"She pushed the chair out to sit on it and that when he finally speak up.

"Can you move your seat back a little more?" He blurted and she frowned.

"He is not only a criminal, he is rude too?" She thought and roll her eyeball.

"Okay" she said and do as he said.

Who is she to spoil things now.

She has to get that vengeance at all cost and then she will leave in peace.

"Am sure your boss already told you what we discussed before sending you here?" He asked and she nod.

"Good, now we are going to the main deal" he said still operating his phone.

"What is he even operating?, who even know if he is about to send a spy to bomb someone again" she thought and rolled her eyeball again.

"So you are going to be my contracted wife for a month and I will pay you handsomely for it" he said.

"Okay, does any rules comes with it?" she asked already getting frustrated with his behavior, can't he just take his eyes away from the phone for once?

"Yes, you are going to be standing five feet away from me whenever we are close" he said and her brows creases as she rolled her eyeball.

"Those eyes may fall off, if you roll them again" he said not sparing her a glance.

Wait how did he know she is doing that?

"Also you are going to be my secretary so the Media won't suspect anything happening between us" he said and she nod.

"Is that all?" She asked.

"No, you must not touch me no matter what, even when you are suppose to make up everything in front of my dad, you can't touch me, that is more important, don't touch me or come close to me, no body contact" he said.

"Why?" She asked.

"That is non of your business" he snapped and she mouthed an 'oh'.

"Just tell him, you are my fiancee, then I will let you know when you can tell him you are my wife but tonight you are going to tell him you are my fiancee" he said.

"Wait, am coming with you tonight?" She she asked wide eyed.

"Yes of course, my dad is hooking me with some body else and I need you to help me out of this mess " he said and she smirked.

"Interesting" she smirked.

"A man walked to them with a file in his hand, from his look, one can judge he is a lawyer.

He dropped the file urging Avery to sign the one month wife contract which she did.

The man left immediately they are done.

"So how much is your service?" Kim Bum asked.

"Don't worry about that now, I will tell you about it later" she said with an evil thought in her mind as she smirk.

"That is, if you leave to see later or soon" she thought evilly.

"Okay then, see you later then, make sure you come wait for me at the street before my dad's mansion, 7:30pm.prompt" he said.

This guys is despicable, how can he talk to her without even raising his head to look at her.

"Wait is he even truly a gay?" she thought staring at him but the devil in her push her to blurb it out.

"Mr Kim, is the rumors true?, are you truly a gay?" She blurted and covered her mouth wondering how she blurt that out.

Kim Bum slowly raised his head up to Stare at her.

Avery gulp down nothing seeing his cold handsome face.

"What did you just say?" He asked coldly.

"Nothing, hehe, who said I said something?" She laughed and stand up.

"See you later, Mr kim." She said giving him a weird smile before leaving.

Kim Bum watch her leave speechlessly.

"is that how those genders behave?" He asked no one in particular.

All his life, he had been avoiding anything concerning the opposite gender, so he don't know about their characters.

The servant in his house are all male and the ladies in his company, knows their lane.

If not, now his dad suddenly bring up the topic of women.
