Chapter 2

"Thank you for taking me home....maybe you want to go in first?" I offer to Rubioz.

"Oh. Don't stop. It's embarrassing. Let's go back to school tomorrow."

"Huh? Wait, you guys have a practice game again? Well, Rubioz, I might get tonsillitis, I'll cheer you on." I laughed.

He laughed. "We don't have a game tomorrow. Thank you for coming to cheer me on even if I lose..."

"That's okay. Just come back next time."

"O Alright. Bye." Rubioz said goodbye. Daddy and I both have a motorcycle. I just smiled. When I faced the gate I was surprised. Because Daddy was standing and grinning.

"Mommy, there's a girl who cut off what my Daddy was going to say when I grabbed her to cover her mouth.

Dad just laughed. Even when my Daddy is really mean to me! He is the opposite of my Papa who is very serious in life but kind. But Mommy loves Daddy.

"Shame on the neighbors Daddy!" I whispered.

Dad removed my hand. Then he laughed. "Why should I be shy? I'm a proud Daddy and I'm sure your Papa will be happy too!"

"Papa? Oh Dad, don't tell him that----"

Daddy grinned. "Oooopppss my bad. Pogi was still here a while ago and I called Seb and you know he's very happy! So even if you step on him again he says it's okay. Oh right...your Papa voted and I'm your Daddy. Mommy is the only one who doesn't have a vote yet!"

I strained my eyes at Dad. His skin is really good. Then I quickly walked into the house.

I kissed Mommy when I saw her in the kitchen cooking.

"I'm just getting dressed. Then I'll help you there."

"Okay. By the way. That's handsome!"

I was stunned. "Mommy? Even you?"

Mommy looked at me. "You know, my son, I was 17 when I had a crush on your Daddy. So I think there's nothing wrong if you have a crush too and he even brought you home! I'm thrilled, I keep remembering the old days"

"Mommy! Stop! I don't have a crush on him and I don't have a crush and I'm not a tomboy okay! I just don't want to. I mean nothing's special so no need to be so much happy about a simple things like lovelife. Please I'm sick of it." I turned my back and went up to my room.

Early in the morning, Winter knocked on the door of my room. "Sister! Wake up, your pick-up is already there! Daddy said to wake you up."

I got up. Then stretch. It's still morning. "Is our school service here right away?"

Winter just grinned. "It's not there yet, but the one you picked up is already there!"

"What the hell, Winter? Am I going to die? Why don't I know?" I scratched my short hair so I was mistaken for a homosexual.

He walked to the door. "It's Kuya Pogi. He's in the living room talking to Daddy. You're dead."

Then he left my room. Brother Pogi? I suddenly stood up when I thought of Rubioz! Oh why is he here at our house?

I made my bed first before going to the bathroom to wash and brush my teeth. Then I left the room.

I caught Daddy and Rubioz laughing. Looked. Rubioz is mine so Dad turned to me.

"Oh. My sleeping beauty is awake.". Dad and I went to the kitchen to help Mommy prepare Breakfast.

Rubioz stood up from where he was sitting. "Sorry I came early. I kept bothering you." he reached for a piece of paper. "For you."

I took that. "Wow! You did this?"

"Yes. Did you like it?"

"Yes, it's beautiful, how did you do it? And wait, let's have breakfast first."

"I had breakfast before leaving the House. I'll just be here. I'll wait for you."

I approached him and took his hand then I pulled him to the Dining area. Mommy and Daddy were there as well as the twins. Rubioz and I sat next to each other. I also forced him to eat breakfast again.

After eating, I went straight to my room to take a shower and get dressed. It only took me a few minutes and I went down.

I said goodbye to Mommy and Daddy as well as the Twins. Our school service road is still later.

"Or put it on Seven. So we don't get caught." I took it and put it on then I got on the back of his motorcycle. I have cycling shorts, so it's okay not to be worn out.

We Stopped at the school Motorcycle parking lot There are students too, but I think only college students are there.

Rubioz took my helmet and carried it then we both walked.

"Rubioz!" We looked at the person who called him.

I lost my smile. His teammates are bullies. What do they need? They were sitting on the bench in the parking lot because it was still early. Rubioz approached them so I followed him in case he needed back up. He stopped so I stopped behind him. I saw Marco staring at me so I gave him a hard time.

"It's your morning today bro. Then why are you with that Senior High, right? They go to school later?". curious when Lage called him Henry.

"Ah yes. I passed by Seven at their house. That's why we're both early. Why do you guys need anything?"

"Ah. Yes, the entire Basketball Team is having a good time swimming tomorrow. You can take that Senior High if he knows how to swim.". and they laughed as well as Marco.

I held Rubioz's arm. "Excuse me Colleges, I know how to swim. Maybe those girls with you will drown tomorrow. Why are you laughing when you are beautiful, you just put on thick makeup. Come on, Rubioz, you might get infected by them. We will be there at Our classroom!" I pulled him.

"Okay. Alright guys." It's your time. I have an ally!

Marco caught my eye. He pushed Eva, the cheerleader of the squad, when she was about to hug him while looking at me. It's Marco's problem. Hmm!

There was no one in our classroom yet but it was open so Rubioz and I went in to sit there. I took out the paper bird he made again.

"What's it called Rubioz?"

"Origami. Do you want me to teach you?"

Next, I nodded. "Yes! It's beautiful."

"Okay. We need paper." He took a piece of paper from his bag. He began to explain how it was done. It's a bit complicated because there are many folds. Then take time.

"Wow! It's beautiful! Can it be mine too?!"

"Sure! You want me to do more of that?"

"Okay, okay!"

"Ummm, is it okay with you that I'll take you swimming with us tomorrow?" while he was folding.

"Of course I'll just say goodbye to Mommy and then to my Daddy and Papa."

He stopped folding and looked at me. I knew he was wondering but he didn't ask any more questions. He just nodded. Then folded again.

"What should I wear to swimming tomorrow?". I will ask.

"Where you feel comfortable. That's what you wear. Then it's not strict at that Resort."

"Okay. It's good. I should have been wearing a bikini."

Rubioz just looked at me then smiled. It's funny that I have a friend ahead of me. At least they don't bully me that much anymore, maybe they're afraid of Rubioz.

"Where are you going Marco?" Eva called me. I didn't answer I just walked.

I passed the Senior High Department. I stopped. I thought about whether I should just peek at Seven. I shook my head, after all, there's nothing wrong with just peeking at them.

I was quite close when I heard them laughing. I felt pissed off again. Alright, I'm jealous.

"Rubioz." I disturbed them and they looked at me at the same time. "Maybe you want to go to your classroom. You're late, man."

He looked at his wrist watch. Then hastily stood up. "Sorry. I'll be back later Seven."

"Okay. Alright, bye. Thank you for the origami." then he looked at me but he didn't pay attention to me at all. What does Rubioz have that I don't have? What is his curly hair?

"Oh, what are you looking at? I'm not in the mood to tease you Marco." he turned his back on me.

"Do not know!" I just said I left. Why am I wasting my time with that tomboy? It's not beauty!

"Hey. What are you searching for there Marco?"

"It's okay Jack. Just mind your own business mate". because I'm busy watching a tutorial video on how to make Origami. Seven was so happy earlier when Rubioz gave him something like this. I'll make sure I can do better!

I stopped watching when our Prof entered. We have a surprise quiz today. Fortunately, I was able to study last night.

I was the first to finish so our Prof allowed me to go to my second subject. I passed Seven's Department again. I want to take a peek at him first... but I'm sure they're in the same class... there's nothing wrong with that.

"I'll just pass by.". I whispered to myself then I walked just right and I simply looked at Seven. He's laughing...wow my drama is slow motion effect... He's beautiful no matter which angle I look at him. I stared at him as if I bumped into someone. Everything he brought was spilled so he made noise in the Hallway, I was very embarrassed.

I apologized to the person I bumped into. I really didn't mean it, it didn't make me angry. When I turned back to Seven's behavior, he was looking at me while he was stroking me!

I'm pissed off again. Bag trip! Then I purposely dropped the cleaning materials I was holding from Kuya Janitor and walked away from there.

Why does he always bother me! I'm not bullying him anymore!? Shit! I got to our next classroom. But I didn't feel like listening to our subject anymore so I went out again and then I went to our hangout in the School field. I sat on the bench shaded by a tree and watched the Origami tutorial again.

What I will do is better than Rubioz's work. I have a lot of tears in my notebook but I can't really get it! I don't know! Why am I wasting that girl's time! It's not beauty. But I'm jealous!

I stand. There is no one. So...

"I'll be your girl friend too, Seven, I shouted. Then I took my bag.

I'm just going to go to the court... I'm just going to play this game I pissed off Rubioz! He's good at grabbing what's being shaped! There are so many women, why is it Seven? Then tomorrow he will take him swimming!

Hey, I'm just getting more and more pissed off!

Time to go home. That's how Seven rode that guy's motorcycle again! And he has a helmet!

"Are they already?" asked Mike.

I didn't answer. I don't know what to do. I just walked to my bike. All of us on the Basketball Team were required by our Coach to use a bike instead of a Car or Motorcycle so that we could exercise. Coach is right. We maintain our body without gaining weight.

When I got home I went straight to my room. It's still early. I took my cellphone again and then I watched the Origami tutorial video again.

An hour before I was able to fold a bird and I was really happy! I did it again. Tomorrow I will give it to Seven. I'm sure my works are better than Rubioz!

I was comforted by Mommy's knocking on the door of my room. "We're going to eat Marco. Come downstairs. Your Big Brother and Daddy are already here."

"Okay. I'll be next.". I put away my clutter one by one. Then I left my room.

I found them already sitting at the table. Dad watched me. Then shake your head. He seems disappointed with me. Brother is always the only one who is good for him. Mommy is my only ally.

"Your Prof said that you have been cutting classes. What is your drama now Marco? The older you get, the more headaches you get!". Dad's voice rose a little. I glanced at Mommy. He just shook his head for me not to answer.

I sat down and was about to start eating when Daddy spoke again. "You're a failure Marco." Then it stood up.

Brother patted me. "Don't pay attention to Daddy. Just eat. Right Mommy."

Mommy just nodded. I don't even know how I became a failure. All my grades are high. I get an Award for playing Basketball... Why is he like that to me?

"Mommy. Am I Daddy's daughter or did you just adopt me?" I couldn't stop it anymore.

"What are you doing Son. Your Daddy is just tired okay." Mommy answered calmly.

"I'm your brother, okay. Eat now. Just remember Lage that Brother loves you. Okay!" he kissed my forehead.

I feel that Daddy loves me, why is he treating me like that...

"Brother. Tomorrow we have swimming with the whole team."

"Is that so? Okay.". he took his wallet and gave me all its contents. "Enjoy yourself tomorrow if that credit card is missing. Use it."

"Oh brother, don't stop. You gave me too much."

Brother hugged me. "Because I love you Marco. When you have a problem you can talk to me okay."

I nodded. I hold back my tears.

"Thank you very much, Brother."
