Peace pov.

I was weak after my mother left and drifted off to sleep.

I was enjoying my sleep when someone shake me roughly.

I opened my eyes to the sight of my father.

Fear gripped me and I looked down at my laps.

"I heard something from your mother and I wanted to confirm the truth from you,

is it true?".

"I don't understand, Dad".

"Do not play dumb games with me, you know what I am talking about and it's not a joke to you.

So, i'm not going to repeat this question,

Peace, Are you pregnant?

I was unable to speak as tears flooded my face.

My mother also came to my room.

"Answer me! My dad shouted at me.

"Ye....yes...sir". I responded and he dealt me a big slap across the face.

My face went blank and my mother get hold of him.

"You are pregnant, At what age?

How old are you?

At this tender age of your's.

You are a big disappointment to me and I will never forgive you for this shameful attitude.

I don't know how your mother want to do this.

You are leaving my house tomorrow morning to your new husband house.

I did not want to have anything to do with you.

I disowned you as a child.

"Hubby, take it easy. It's not up to that, she is still our child! My mother screamed out.

"It means that you both planned all of this.

It's either you choose me or you choose her.

I'm out of here". He said and move out of the room.

I teared up loudly and my mother petted me.

Fears were written all over her face, but she managed to console me even though, she was angry at me in the afternoon.

She rubbed my chin with a balm and gave me some fruits and told me to relax.

She promised to talk to my father.

Peace mother pov.

I went back to our master bedroom but couldn't find my husband there.

Where did he gone to?

I searched the bathroom, kitchen, visitor's room and my kids room but couldn't find my husband.

I went back to my room to pick my phone and dialled his number.

It ranged for five times but he didn't pick the calls.

I sent several text message to him but he is not replying any of it.

I called his friends number but they all denied his presence at their home.

I gave up and waited at the sitting room.

I keep waiting till 2:00Am in the morning,

When I didn't see him, I slept off on the cushion.

Peace mum pov.

I woke up with body pains In the morning, I had slept off on the cushion while waiting for my husband.

Where could he be?.

I glanced at the clock and the time is 7:00Am.

What?

Sarah came to greet me, she has dressed up in her school uniform alongside with his younger brother.

"Good morning my daughter, you couldn't wake me up by 5:00Am.

"I'm sorry mum, I don't want to disturb your sleep, And precise, I've prepared the meal for everyone and packed our school lunch".

"Wow! That's good of you, Sarah. I'm proud of you.

I was tired yesterday night and couldn't sleep in the bedroom.

"Mum, I went to sister peace room and she didn't open her door". She informed me.

"Oh really, I will check on her". I responded

"Is she not going to school today?".

"She is not going to school, she will go by next week". I said and assured her while she went inside her room to wear her school sandals.

She held her younger brother hand and walked out of the house.

I also went straight to peace bedroom and she isn't opening the door.

I pleaded to her to open the door before she opened it.

She laid back to the bed and stare blankly at the ceiling.

"How are you feeling now?".

"I'm not feeling better, mum. I felt so weak and I have this constant urge of vomitting". She explained and tears rolled down my chin, I sniffed and cleaned it up while she went on her kneels to plead for forgiveness.

"I am so sorry, mum. I know that I have hurt you and dad.

I didn't wish my life to be this way.

I am very sorry, mum.

I prayed that my life will be more smoother than now because I have disappointed you". She said and I sniffed twice before responding to her.

"I'm not only crying for you,

I'm crying for the stress that you have put yourself into.

You are not mentally ready for all these pains.

Pregnancy is not a small joke, it comes with its own episode..I am really sad that this has to happen to me.

You didn't make me proud o, peace.

I prayed that your child will not do the same for you". I said.

We both cried that morning before I left her room to clean up.

I brushed my teeth and bathed before eating the breakfast.

A quick glance at the clock showed that the time is now 9:00Am.

I've not see my husband yet,

I dialled his number and he ended the call.

I redialled his number when someone barged into the house.

It's my husband.

I rushed to him but he pulled me away.

"I've been scared since yesterday night,

"Where have you been? I asked.

"Is that bastard child gone?". He questioned while I went on my kneels.

"Please, Honey. She is still a small girl".

"A small girl? She is a small girl but she knows what a sex is....

Please cut off that trap, is she gone? Because I can't continue living the house with her ".

"I'm sorry, Darling. She is still in her room".

"Doing what?".

"The pregnancy is taking its toll on her". I said.

My husband did not have any of it,

He rushed into her room leaving me behind while I rushed after him.
