My parents have planned a party for my birthday in the hopes that I could discover my soul mate. They have been pestering me about it ever since I turned seventeen, but I haven't, thus the reason for the party is that I haven't. She looks like a goddess every time I see her, but I have a sneaking suspicion that I may already know who she is. Either that or she isn't old enough to feel the mate pull. We knew she would make a great Luna when we saw her fighting and moving as quickly as she did when the rouges attacked, but if she doesn't or hasn't shifted, my parents won't let me accept her as my Luna and will force me to reject her even if I don't want to to find me what they would consider a suitable mate and future Luna for our pack. I'm certain that I couldn't accept her in that way. Since I watched her fight, I've been watching her to see if she had been practicing covertly. However, from what I could tell, she doesn't train and instead goes to observe others who do, even though I haven't noticed any changes in her behavior when she goes jogging. She runs quickly, albeit not as quickly as I do. I adore watching her hair fly as she runs because it simply makes her appear even more beautiful than before. What I would give to know for sure is that she is my mate, even just the possibility that she might be made every time I see her is so wonderful. Another factor supporting my belief that she is my mate is the fact that every time I see her, my wolf goes insane without explaining why.

Her birthday is approaching, and from what I can see, they know it. She hasn't moved in yet, despite my parents' assurances that she will do so on her seventeenth birthday, which is in a month. I can't wait until then to give her the birthday gift I bought her, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to because my parents want me to find my soul mate within a month. For now, all I have to do is wait for her birthday and try to have fun on my birthday. I'll try to get close to her there and see what happens, see if there are sparks between us or not, which I hope there are. As time goes on, my hope that she will be my mate grows stronger and stronger. I just hope that they will wait until her birthday to see if she shifts or not.

She was wearing a red and black formal dress that hugged her in all the right places when I went to the mall to buy a suit for my party. Goddess, she looked so stunning that I wanted to go up to her and tell her what I thought about the dress, but I chose to stay back and observe her from a distance instead. After leaving that shop, they headed to Victoria's Secret, where she purchased some red and black underwear to go with her outfit. How I wish I could see her wearing it so that I could tear it off of her. Tonight is my birthday celebration, and I'll do whatever to get close to her so I can make sure she's my mate. If she allows me, I'll claim her as mine and mine alone so no other men will be attracted to her. They entered a shoe store where she bought some high heels that matched her dress, and after that, they went to the food court where they met up with her father, brother, and two other guys who I know to be her friends and had some food. I watched them for a few more minutes after they left the store to see where else they would go.

They left the restaurant after finishing their meal and got into their car. I guess they were going to their house to start preparing for my celebration. Oh moon goddess, please make her my partner. Make her the one you have selected for my life. Make her the mother of my offspring and the pack's Luna. I would do anything to have her as my partner.
