Chapter 5 Part 5

Not long after, Doctor Garfield and Nurse Anette came to examine the patient.

"Giselle, are you alright?" Nurse Anette asked while stroking Giselle's flowing mane. Giselle looked up and looked at her best friend. "Anette." Giselle hugged Nurse Anette.

"I know how you feel, Giselle. Trust me, and everything will be fine." Nurse Anette tried to comfort her.

"But when will it be? I can't bear to see you tormented like this," she said. Hearing that, Sister Anette turned to Doctor Garfield, hoping he could give her some answers about the patient's condition.

"There's not much we can do, Giselle. At times like this, the patient only needs her family. Family can help heal through brain therapy, such as recalling happy memories."

"Brain therapy?" Hearing that, Giselle thought. "If that's the case, I'll have to spend time with Mum. I'll do it if it can speed up the healing process. I'll spend more time with you, Doc," Giselle said as she looked at her mother.

"I will help you, Giselle," said Sister Anette.

In the afternoon, Giselle took some time out of the hospital. Giselle went to an artificial lake near the hospital. She tried to calm down there, but soon a young man approached her. The young man sat down next to Giselle. "Hello, I'm Robert. Your name is Giselle, right?" The young man named Robert introduced himself. Robert extended his hand to Giselle. Giselle accepted Robert's hand. And she said yes to Robert's question.

"Yes, I'm Giselle. Do you know my name? Is it quite famous?" Asked in a joking tone.

"It's easy to find out who a beautiful woman like you is." Hearing that, Giselle nodded and thought that Robert knew what she was like regarding work.

"Do you have a lot of time? I want to talk and get to know you better." "Ha..." Hearing that, Giselle thought again that he was the same man who liked to come to get something warm from her. But she must think slowly. She also wanted to know who that man was.

"Why do you want to know more about me?" Giselle found the right question.

"Life is a choice, and I chose you to get to know you better."

"You're looking for a mate? If that's true, I don't think I am..."

"No, you're not. Getting to know more doesn't mean wanting to be friends. Even if it's just friends, we must choose, right? There are a lot of hypocrites around us now, so we have to be selective so that we don't doubt ourselves in front of him later."

Giselle smiled and agreed with the man named Robert. "Yes, you're right. Even those closest to us are people we can't trust."

"It turns out we have the same thoughts. Maybe we are indeed soul mates," Robert said jokingly.

"Soul mate? I think so. We're mates as friends. Is that right?"

"Friends? If it's more than that, it's okay; I'm not rejecting it." Dirga said softly, but Fitri could still hear him.

"I'm the one who rejected it.

"What? Come on, and you've already broken my heart." Robert made a jealous face.

Giselle couldn't help but laugh at him; she covered her mouth. I don't know why Robert was so funny.

When he saw Giselle laughing, his heart had a strange feeling. But he had to concentrate on his goal, to get close to Giselle.

Robert doesn't understand why Iram is so obsessed with him. A prostitute is still a prostitute and not worthy of a life partner, was Robert's current thinking.

After almost an hour in the park, Robert took Giselle out for lunch. Although Fitri initially refused, she eventually agreed to Robert's request.

"Thank you for lunch. I've inconvenienced you," Giselle said, feeling bad now that the two were at a restaurant.

"Don't be shy. Think of it as a sign of our friendship. Um, oh yes. Can I have your mobile number? Yes, so that I can contact you later." Robert thrust his mobile phone in front of Giselle. Although she hesitated, Giselle gave him her mobile number.

"Okay, we're officially friends now? So, if I may know, where are you going after this? Are you going home or somewhere else? Do you want me to give you a lift? I'm not working. Well, as a successful entrepreneur, I don't have much time. And now I'm taking some time off." Robert said smugly, even though it wasn't the right thing to say. Giselle frowned in disbelief at Robert's words. No doubt, but like, "Oh, so it's like that."

"It's very. Being a big company's boss makes it hard to take time off." Robert continued.

"A good boss should be like that, prioritizing work in favor of his employees because the company's progress is significant to them, and it's thanks to you."

"No, the company's progress is also thanks to the employees. The employees who have worked hard for it. While the boss only supervises."

"You're right. Then why do you still struggle to take time off or just a holiday?"

"Many people don't know about this. They think being the boss is fun, but it's not. "

"Really? It's not like you'll have a rich life, lots of money, and we can do anything with money?"

"But that doesn't apply to me," Robert replied, looking down.

"Why?" Giselle asked again.

"Never mind, it's not interesting to discuss. Where are you going now?" Changing the subject.

"I still have some business, so I have to go now. It's unimportant, but I don't want to bother you."

"Come on, Giselle, I'm not bothered. I'm glad you're bothering me, so let me drop you off, okay?"

Giselle was silent for a moment until she finally accepted Robert's offer.

"Alright. I'll go to the hospital."

"Hospital? What for?"

"Yes, the hospital. Why? Do you mind? You have a problem with the hospital?" The series of questions that Giselle did made it difficult for Robert to answer.

"No, I'm fine. Who's sick at the hospital? Your friend? Or..."

"My mother is sick." "Mother? Oh, sorry, I didn't know l."
