Chapter 2 Part 2

Peewee's POV

I'm still dizzy from the sleepiness of going to school. I decided not to move at all. I'm sure my parents will ask me for an explanation when I transfer. And of course I can't say that 'there are monsters in GVA'. maybe my mom will send me to mental by chance.

I'll just avoid Elm's group as much as possible, and Elm himself.

The jeep driver scolded me because I paid pesos for the fare instead of ten pesos. And the school guard also scolded me because I didn't have an i.d. I left it. luckily the guard was my buddy, they let me in even without an i.d.

I feel like a zombie walking down the hallway. I spaced out because of sleepiness and also because of the nightmare I saw last night. I bumped everywhere, the plant, the wall, the trash.

until I bumped into a student standing in front of his locker. The books I was carrying fell on the tiled floor.

"Sorry. Sorry. I didn't notice you," I said without looking at the man. I bent down to pick up the books but the man bent down to pick them up first. I just stood up and took a deep breath. "Sorry again."

"Next time be careful, because you might hurt someone else." The man stood up and handed the book to me. Then I just looked at his face.

"Thank you.I will remember ---" I hung up my speech and felt like a bomb exploded when I saw Elix standing in front of me.

But that's not what stopped me but the glowing lines on his face, neck and arms that seemed drawn on his silky skin. His eye color is also silver but not as bright as Elm's eyes. Rather it looks like a distant cold fire. He looked like an angel and a monster the same.

Birds of the same feather flock together. They are just the same as Elm. The thing is, they're not birds, they're monsters.

I was just dumbfounded. I'm dead. And I remembered what Elm did to the girl. He almost killed her. I don't want to be like him.

"Hey! Are you just going to stand there? Take your book!" Elix said emphatically.

I put the books in his hand and turned away. but I turned to him again to make sure I wasn't looking around.

Elix was still standing next to his locker and he still looked the same. A silver-eyed demon. He was staring at me like he was confused. His forehead was wrinkled. I looked around, everyone was doing the same. The girls are still drooling over Elix. And some men seem jealous.

Aren't they afraid of him? Or maybe, I'm the only one who can see his true appearance? Jusko! We don't have a third eye in our race.

I just ran away from him. It's like I'm being possessed by my speed. All the blood in my body came alive. I even beat Flash in speed. I just stopped when I got to our room. I immediately sat on my bench and bowed there.

"Running is strictly prohibited on hallways, Ms. de lion!"

I stiffened from sitting. If I fear anything in this world besides the monster, Mrs. That's Arguelles, our adviser who even beat my mother to salivate.

I turned to the source of the voice. but instead of our monster advisor, I saw Aila standing. And he laughs.

"You're really a witch, you're using your voice actress skills on me! Damn it! I almost peed in fear and shock."

Our classmates in the room also laughed. Aila came to me and sat next to me. "Why are you running? I called you and you didn't notice me."

I bent down again and dived into my bag. "Nothing. Just exercise."

Aila's eyebrows arched. "Exercise or exorcist? I saw you hit Elix earlier."

I sat up straight again. Then I looked Aila in the eye. "Did you see Elix earlier?"

"Uhm!"

I faced Aila. "Then did you see his eyes and his skin?"

Aila frowned. "Yes. Black as ever and his skin was as fair as the snow."

if that's the case, I'm the only one who can see their true appearance. What will I do?

"Why, what's happening?" Aila asked.

Even though Aila is my bff, I can't tell her what I see and know. I'll just take care of everything.

"Nothing. Nothing. He's handsome. I'm stunned." My hair stood on end while saying that.

Advance Algebra is our first subject so the lessons are almost torture for me due to staying up late. I was so sleepy I almost fell off the chair.

good thing my seatmate Michael held me so I didn't go straight to the floor.

"Wake up, Peewee," he whispered. "Maybe Mrs. Arguelles will see you."

I nodded and tried to open my eyes. I looked at Michael and smiled but I screamed because I saw....

HE ONLY HAS ONE EYE!!!
