Chapter 5 Accepting your reality

When he left the room, he really expected her to come back to beg for his forgiveness, like he said he really loved her.

He could do it, taking her back and forgetting everything she had done to him.

But then what he heard was the sound of bags, he looked back and saw her with her loads, she had packed ready to go.

"Luna?" He stood immediately and stood in front of her, trying to hide his emotions.

"I took only what I brought, I didn't take a dime from you" Luna looked at him in his eyes for the first time, ever she never had the guts to.

"Luna" he called her again.

"I want to be loved not to be controlled, and you don't love me, you are obsessed with me. locking me up behind this walls, like i am a slave that you brought. Salvatore you need help because I see nothing but a monster" Luna told him clutching her fist.

"Luna" he shouted.

"Thank you for everything you have done, I would have wished you a happy life but then, do you deserve it?" She made her move to leave him.

"Don't go Luna" he held her arms tightly.

"If you would excuse me" she removed his hands from her arm.

She left, and he couldn't stop her, is he really a monster? Another person just left with that excuse. That he is a monster.

"Nothing is wrong with me, nothing is wrong with me. They are the abnormal one"

"Nothing is wrong with me, nothing is wrong with me. They are the abnormal one" that is what those category of people say, that is also the first stage of mental breakdown, escaping reality" daisy explained.

"Hmmm I see" Maria said as she listened to doctor daisy's lecture.

"That is the case of Mrs Meyer I told her the reality that she doesn't want to know" she sipped from her coffee.

"Why do people don't want to accept reality?' maria asked her.

"Because it is not easy to accept, because you are scared, because of guilt, because you want justification and so on. Accepting your reality is the worst stage of your life. Because it might turn out to be what you don't want to be" Daisy said and nodded.

"You are so good doctor daisy" she gave a thumb up.

"Anyways let's close early I have a date" she stood up and carried her handbag.

"I see you are all on make up" Maria smiled.

"Of course, prepare I might get married soon" Daisy whispered.

"Lawrence is finally proposing?" Maria covered her hands with her mouth.

"Yep, with that I would be on my way out" she told her and made for the door.

"Sure, bye doc" maria wave.

"Bye maria" she responded and left her clinic, she doesn't know of it is her happiness, but the weather felt really nice and comforting.

she headed to the cinema she doesn't want to keep her Lawrence waiting.

After two hours, she watched the people from the cinema leave, they just finished the movie she and Lawrence is supposed to watch together.

"Where is he and why is not picking his calls" she wondered and called him again, but his phone wasn't available.

"Lawrence can't be available tomorrow" she remembered the words of eve and waved it of.

Lawrence and Eve met only once, so she is just saying trash, she doesn't even know much about him.

She stood up and made her way out of the cinema, the show has ended, Lawrence is not here what is she Waiting for?

Immediately she got outside, she saw him running towards him, and she smiled, Eve is wrong he made it indeed, because he said he would.

"Oh the movie finished?" Lawrence asked her when he saw her.

"Yes and you missed it" Daisy told him.

"Sorry I kept you waiting, we had an emergency" Lawrence said.

"Sure" she nodded her head, even of she is hurt she had to suck it in.

"About what you want to tell me?" She reminded him.

He smiled at her and brought out a box from his pocket and she gasped.

"He really proposed?" She said within her with her wide eyes.

"Would you marry me?" Lawrence proposed.

"Yes of course" she gave him her fingers and wore the ring in it.

Lawrence carried her and swing her around, she laughed he laughed they where happy.

But then....

It was vivid imagination.

She entered a taxi and went home straight without meeting him that night.

By the time she got home, both Mariam and Eve had gone to bed, she was so hungry and tired, she she opened the fridge and took out a snack and milk, she can't cook her body is killing her.

As She ate in silence, the door opened and Eve came inside to.

"Huh I thought you would have gone to bed?" Daisy said surprised to see her.

"We had group dinner" she explained and she entered the house.

"I also just got in to" daisy said.

"You didn't drink?" She didn't smell any alcohol coming from her, it has never happened when ever she has group dinner.

"Yes I didn't, I am trying out my wedding gown tomorrow you know?" Eva turned and made her way to her room.

"Hmmmmmm that's true" daisy agreed.

"Lawrence didn't show up?" Eve stopped and asked her.

"Yes I guess he is busy" daisy gave a lonely sigh.

"He would call you when he is less busy" Eva consoled her.

"Anyhow" she said.

"I am going to bed" Eve announced.

"Alright good night" daisy waved.

"Same to you"

Daisy's phone beeped it was a message and it was Lawrence,

Immediately she dropped her snacks and rushed out, today's hasn't ended yet, he can still make of for his mistake and she would give him a chance to.

"Lawrence you could just have called" she said stepping down from the stairs.

"I am sorry for not making it, I forget I have another engagement today" Lawrence apologized.

"No I am okay, I left as soon as the movie ended" daisy said.

"I am really sorry" he apologized again.

"About what I want to tell you" she asked him and folded her hands.

She stated blushing, he took his hands into his pocket, and instead of a box he brought out an envelope.

"What is this?" She asked when he gave her the envelope.

"I am getting married, next week Saturday" He announced to her with a smile.

"You are what?" She wasn't sure if she heard him well.

"Getting married next week Saturday" she repeated.

She did hear correctly.
