Chapter 2 Getting ready for the new school

I woke up early in the morning with the sun shining like a bright star over my face while I was stretching my arms out in the nice morning air while wearing my favourite pink night gown,I was so excited because we were on summer break.suddenly,i heard my name been called downstairs,it was my mom."Madison, come down for breakfast"she said sweetly."coming mom"I replied.

I was going downstairs when I smelt something mesmerising,it was pancakes,my favourite.As I was enjoying it with joy and happiness my mom suddenly ruined it with her words "madi,I don't think I can continue to struggle for the four of us so am thinking you could transfer to your dad's school and there would be less responsibility for me,you could get closer to your dad and maybe your grades would turn up". she said with tears in her eyes."what! but mom,I can't just go to a different school where I don't know anyone and I can't stay with a man who abandoned his family"I said furiously."Madison Williams,I understand you but I can't continue suffering like this with your siblings"she said as she burst into tears and I hugged her bursting into tears too "ok mom,I accept,I will go to dad's school"I said cleaning off her tears."thank you so much Madison"she said.Since that day I began to prepare for my new school,and then I remembered I was ugly,I can't go to a new school looking like a monster so I tried make up,but the first time I tried it it was a disaster I looked like a monster from a kids story book.Thats when I had an idea.i started looking up videos about makeup tutorial an bought a lot of makeup and finally I did it ,I was beautiful for the first time in 17 years and I also realised that it was a boarding school so I'm going to have roommates.

l planned everything for my new school and I knew I was ready.
