Chapter 4 Signing contracts

"What" both mother and daughter said in unison.

"I..s is this a prank or what" Adeline scoffed staring into the man's serious face.

"Do I look like one of those clowns in your amusement park" he asked.

" Please boss, we can't, you can easily find other ladies out their, and I c... "

" SHUT THE FVCK UP" he roared at Catherine who had just talked, as he fired a straight bullet above her head "lemme get sth straight into your head, I don't waste time with other debtors like the time I have wasted with both of you today, it either I get their skull out of there head, or get their hearts, lungs, hands, tongues away from their body" He said simply, letting a quick shiver rush through Adeline's and Catherine's body.

"Why do you want a child" Adeline asked.

"It no business of yours, give me an heir, and I would decide what I want with you, either letting you go or turning you to a public whore" he was already close to her, holding her chin, before letting go.

" Now, state your choice, either for your mom to spend her remaining days in hell, and you pay for her debt, or save her life now and birth an heir for me" he stood in front of Adeline, staring at her face which was red, as her eyes blinked several times, swallowing her tears, with sound of her teeth clammering together as she bit her reddened lips.

"Your countdown starts now 3" Adeline eyes widened.

"2" he pushed the trigger and the bullet grazed Catherine's shoulder "ahhh" she groaned in pains.

"I tried e.."

"I would do it" Adeline said broken as her head fell, with tears dropping non stop from her eyes "please stop" she whispered weakly.

Catherine closed her eyes, as she couldn't stop crying, just because of her mistake, her daughter and future grand children would suffer greatly, all because of her' she taught.

Mike scoffed and left the room after he had what he wanted.

Shortly after he left, some men walked in alerting both mother and daughter who where still in tears.

The men walked to them and untied them, Adeline was the first to get up and ran into her mother's arm, who was extraordinarily shocked, more tears left Catherine eyes.

She had done something really bad to her daughter, and here she was getting a hug from her.

"Forgive me Adeline" Catherine cried.

"I don't have the heart to now mom, but I don't want to see you get hurt, never" she paused and let her tears flow like a stream.

" No matter what you have done in the past, it doesn't worth taking your life, life is something too precious to loose" she said still in tears, finding her head on her mom's lap.

"Why still save me when I showed the characters of an heartless wicked mother to you" Adeline raised her head and looked at her mother.

" Firstly, you are my mother

Secondly, if I did not I just committed murder

Thirdly, and funny enough, I would still have to give birth to his heir after your death, just like those movies

And fourthly mom, I love you too much to let you go, I just can't". She shook her head continuously as still stooped in front of her mother.

" Am so so sorry dear" Catherine kissed her hair " I would loose my beautiful Adeline all thanks to me" Catherine said as a sad crossed her lips.

"I would be fine Mom" Adeline assured.

"You don't know what this drug Lord's are capable of, you would never be fine in their hands" Catherine said.

Catherine head moved left and right, checking if the men of earlier had gone, and yes they had.

"You know of pregnancy pills ryt, or after pills" Catherine whispered and Adeline nodded.

" Then what with it" Adeline asked confused.

"You need to get those pills, or I can get it for you, you would use this immediately after s*x, which would restrain you from getting pregnant, it must be used secretly so he won't know and kill you Ayda" she squeezed on Adeline's hand " If the boss sees you are not getting pregnant, you would pronounce yourself infertile, and I can have you back all to myself, and we would move to another country where no one would find us and start a new life, just do this one for me Ayda and I would make it up to you baby" she pecked Adeline's cheek.

" It ri.. " before she could complete her sentence, a lady halfly dressed, with her boobs protruding outside, walked into the room and faced Adeline.

"The boss seeks your presence" the lady said as her mouth went tapping on the gum in her mouth.

"Me" Adeline pointed to herself.

"Last time I remembered I wasn't born with googled lenses" the lady fired, as she rolled her eyes at Adeline who threw her a death glare "follow me" she said.

Adeline looked at her mom for the last time, who burst into another set of hot tears.

Adeline heart shattered to pieces as she followed the lady, leaving her mom behind.

She found herself in a corridor with laterns positioned on it walls "it felt ancient" she taught.

Then they came to a side with frames of different men on each sides of the wall.

Each frames held aura's she couldn't comprehend, each of this men held striking resemblance to the man she saw earlier.

On reaching the last frame, which seems to be more bigger in size to the other one's , she saw the devil himself, looking daring, and also mysterious.

He sat majestically on a throne "weird" she taught as she stares at the picture.

Her eyes found it way to the man's face, which she was quick to retract, it was as if he was staring into her soul "it just a frame" she reminded herself.

"We are here" the voice of the lady jolted her as they stopped in front of a huge door, which stood at the end of the corridor.

"Make sure you knock" the lady winked at her as she popped the bubble gum she was chewing on her face, and immediately walked away leaving her to her faith.

She sighed heavily as she forced her weak hand to knock on the door.

"Come in" cold sweat broke out from her forhead again as she nervously turned the knob of the door.

She pushed the door open, and pushed a feet inside, before she pushed in her whole body.

"Sit" Mike said, as he positioned himself on his office chair, which had his desk in front of it.

His pen was held between his teeth, as his hawk gazes watched her every move.

She took her sit in large sofa present in the slightly lit room.

Goosebumps crept on her skin, due to how cold the temperature of the office like room was, her eyes caught an AC at one angle of the room, and another behind the creep of a man.

'wtf' she taught, as she tried rubbing off the bumps on her arm.

Yh she leave close to the sea, but she won't dare leave their house without having her jacket on or preferably stay indoor to battle with her novels.

'what sought of freak is this' she taught forgetting she was staring at him, with Mike also staring back.

"I didn't call you here for a staring competition" he said jolting Adeline.

" Adeline Lopez ryt" he asked calmly, surprising her.

"Yes" she replied.

"You would be moving in with me today, so we can begin the process" he simply said and another set of fear crept into Adeline again.

"I hate wasting time, I won't even mind starting the process here" he said and Adeline gulped down the lump in her throat 'isn't he embarrassed saying such' she taught "but I have rules" he added.

He brought out a contract paper and handed it over to her "I know their is no need for this, but you still need to go through this and sign, I want to be a gentleman here, because if you break those rules after you've signed it, I won't hesitate to punish you or even get rid of you"

She shivered due to his threats and took the paper from him and it read.

Party A; Mike Brown.

Party B; Adeline Lopez.

'How come he had this printed out so fast' she was really shocked as she looked back at him and to the paper.

Party A as said to own certain right over Party B, states that if Party B fails to do all that is stated below by Party A should be punished according to Party A willings.

A. Party B readily agrees for a child with Party A, and if party B disagree, Party B should be ready to face the risk.

B. Party B must move in with Party A, and stay as Party A wants Party B to like; No touching of personal belongings of party A, and No concerns about Party A personal life.

C. Party B should never stay unwilling to Party A anytime Party A want to partake in his manly duties.

Adeline almost choked on her spit when she read this part, her face turned crimson red as she continues reading.

If Party B fails to yield in partaking her own side of duties, Party A would have to go numerous rounds f..

"Cough cough" Adeline had finally choked on her spit.

Mike passed her a glass of water, which she immediately gulped down.

"Wtf" she cried out, and Mike gave her an innocent and confused look "Did you make this by yo.. yourself"

"Hmm" he replied and she nodded slightly "are you done Miss Adeline" she shook her head slowly as she dived back into reading the devilish contract.

D. Party B should not try forming any romantic link with Party A, or even try acting possessive towards Party A.

E. Party B would be allowed to go out, in wellness of Party A baby, but after 2 months of being pregnant with Party A baby, Party B should stay indoor, not to hurt party A baby.

She sighed after reading the last rule 'as if I would even birth your baby' she taught after finally reasoning her mom's plan, if he finds her barren, he would let her go.

"Pen" she smiled as Mike handed her a pen, and she signed where she is meant to, handing Mike back the paper.

He stood up, moving to the photo copying machine, and made two copies, handing one to her as he took the other.

"I would call for someone who would take you home" Mike said as he went back to his sit.

" Okay, but I would like to speak to my mom one last time before I go" .
