Chapter 4 Smitten BEAST

"Good morning, sir! What is it that you would like to have? Today we have a special brunch menu".

Arjun's heart seemed to be about to burst at any moment due to its rapid beating. His thoughts went blank and his mouth dried up.

He just kept staring at her, unable to think of anything to say.

He was also being stared at by that waitress. Arjun's mind was only dancing to the tune of "His Jaan" (His life) while he waited for him to reply.

Pashika became annoyed by his unsettling actions and wondered, "Why the hell is he not saying anything?"

Arjun was staring at her, utterly bewildered.

As if he would not believe that the waitress uniformed Jaan was standing in front of him.

How come? The waitress's uniform? "As Arjun's eyes swept over Pashika, a ball of rage swelled in his chest.

Arjun asked himself, "Why the hell is she wearing this tight short skirt?"

Arjun was glaring at her now. His rage reddened his eyes. There was no way he was leaving her.

She first vanished from the hospital without leaving any trace, and now she was working as a waitress in the cafe. And when every man was staring at her with rape eyes, his last button was pressed.

However, PASHIKA was also growing impatient, so she had to maintain her composure because she needed the job.

Pashika and their grandfather were in dire need of cash. She was not from this city. She came to pursue her advanced education here.

But when she awoke in the hospital following that car accident, her behavior was insane. terror of losing her one and only family. The nurses said they knew nothing about her grandfather when she inquired about him. That is why she quietly left the hospital to look for her grandfather without saying or asking anything.

The taxi driver was discovered dead in that collision, and another man-Arjun-from the other car sustained injuries. She learned of this from the nurses.

Along with losing her cell phone, wallet, and other essentials, Pashika suffered an injury. On the street where the accident occurred, she was walking like a beggar, and a woman came up to tell Pashika that an elderly man had been admitted to the government hospital.

When Pashika did locate her grandfather, she used all of their savings on medical care, prescription drugs, and even hospital bills, which were covered by the FD funds.

Although it took her three months to recover, she lost her teaching position and was not hired by any other school. At that point, the only assistance she received was from this cafe and her job as a waitress.

However, Arjun was unaware of this since her tight, short skirt was all that was on his mind.

Pashika asked him once more after clearing her throat: "Sir! "Your Order?"

Arjun got up from his chair and left the Cae without saying anything. Pashika was stunned as she stood there.

Two days passed by rapidly. Arjun was currently reading a file called PASHIKA SINHA.

"Her name matched her beauty," Arjun thought, flashing a stupid smile.

"Uff, I am in love with him," his beastly head danced.

Pashika Sinha is her name.

DOB: October 22, 20**

Age: Twenty-two

"Oh no! Arjun muttered, "She is seven years younger than me," as he read on.

Father: The late Mr. Neil Sinha, an engineer Mrs. Amber Sinha, a deceased educator

"They are both dead?", Arjun exclaimed upon learning of her parents' passing.

"Hold on! Neil, what? Neil is the name of her father. How ironic is that? My best friend and her father are both named 'NEIL' but Amber? This name sounds incredibly familiar to me as well. Why?", Arjun asked himself as his gaze lingered on the file holding Pashika's details.

Car accidents were the cause of death.

"Crap! That hurts a lot. Arjun was heartbroken by Pashika's passing and thought, "My Poor JAAN."

Qualification: Graduate from D.U

Subject: English Literature

Occupation: currently Waitress at Cafe 'Day and Night'

"Tight short skirt" Fuck !", Beast remembered how Pashika was looking in a short skirt. He growled at the memories

Relative/ Guardian: Mr. Milind Sinha (Grandfather) Retired Military Man. Currently on bed rest because of the car accident that happened 5 months ago.

"She suffered too much, My baby", Arjun thought and flipped the page of the file.

"Maybe this will help me to make her mine", His BEASTLY mind smiled.

Relationship: Single (no boyfriend, no love affairs).

"That's my Jaan", Arjun felt proud to know that Pashika had no boyfriend and wasn't in a relationship.

Friends: Not found

Medical History: visited Dr. Tara Vashishtha (Psychiatrist) sometimes but did not find the actual reason.

"Psychiatrist?", Arjun's eyebrows deepened due to this information.

"I have to dig into this matter deeply to know more about my Jaan, With a new determination, Arjun read further information about Pashika.

Pashika's file was simple like hers but She suffered a lot. Arjun knew the moment he laid his dark black eyes on her deep brown orbs.

"Jaan! I am YOURS", Arjun vowed to himself And drowned himself in Pashika's memories. Her deep brown eyes talked a lot. Her eyes contained so many emotions and secrets and Arjun wanted to know everything about her.

This file also contained a picture of Pashika in which she was wearing an Indian traditional dress with simple braided hair. There was no make-up, no ornaments.

Arjun's heart bloomed with happiness and wanted to make her his, "She is my soulmate. Just wait and watch. I will make you mine very soon because I am Yours. But I have to be very careful regarding her. I don't want her to hate me. I can easily tolerate her anger towards me but not hate"

"She is so beautiful, innocent and pure. My Jaan! My Pashika", Arjun spoke and he was smiling like an idiot. He couldn't control his accelerated heart and dancing mind.

The next day, Pashika was in sleeping mode because her shift was over and she tiredly rushed home.

But the sound of the call bell *Ding dong* broke her beauty sleep. Pashika groaned and spoke hoarsely, "Aah! I'm sleepy, go away"

*Ding dong*

Pashika opened the Door irritatedly and found a handsome man standing at the doorstep. His Hazel orbs were looking very keenly at Pashika.

"Who are you?", Pashika asked that man but that hazel-eyed man only smiled at her.

"What do you want?", Pashika again asked him but that man was busy staring at her, which caused her anger level to increase with each passing second.

"Sir! Who are you looking for ?", Pashika was irritated by his staring contest.

"Jerk go to hell", Pashika almost shouted at him and When she was about to close the door, suddenly he spoke a word that made her freeze at her spot.
