Chapter 2 Not so good start

Author's pov

A girl is running in a dark forest where an ounce of light can't be found. The night is moonless making it more dreading.

"run baby, run as much you want but at the end you have come to me," the girl heard a manly voice but she didn't stop

She ran until she couldn't anymore. She fell down on the muddy ground with a thud and saw a person Standing in front of her.

She was about to look at the person when suddenly someone screamed.

" Turvi! Get your lazy ass up now,"

Turvi's pov

I woke up from my nightmare and looked around myself. I'm here in my room on my bed.

And my annoying as fuck cousin cum best friend Stuti is screaming on my head.

I don't know why I always see this nightmare only. Same thing just situation and place changes.

"Turvi devi ap kripaya kar apna bistar par Aur mujhpe kripa kare Aur uthe (Turvi Devi, please do me and your bed a favour and get up)," she again said in her sarcastic voice

"Turu are you OK?" she asked me finally when she saw I'm not giving her any response

"I again saw it." I said and she understands what I'm talking about

"I'm here Turu," she said and hugged me tightly

"I know what time it is?" I asked her

"8 am doll face, and we will be doomed if we didn't reach college on time." she said and I glared at her

"don't fucking call me that. Understand?" I said

"ohk angry young woman i won't it's only for him now go and get ready I have made poha for us." she said and I nodded with a little blush on my face

I got up and went inside the washroom. I looked at the mirror and gasped looking at my eyes. It's bloodshot red like I was crying for hours.

Maybe I was in my dreams, who knows.

I decided to not wash my hair as I'm running late today.

After my quick shower I wrapped my bathrobe around me and came out.

I looked at the cupboard and chose a white off shoulder sundress with a band on the stomach.

I changed in it and it ended on my mid thighs. I tied my hair in a high ponytail and wore earrings. And tada I'm ready. I don't wear any makeup except kajal and lip gloss why? Because I'm naturally beautiful. Not bragging about it but telling the truth.

But kajal to enhance my big eyes and lip gloss to make my natural pink lips look more attractive.

Once done I went out and saw my sister had served us well.

On that note we don't stay with our parents as we are studying in another city.

This small apartment is my maternal aunt's. So basically it's Stuti's.

My aunt and uncle died long ago when Stuti was 5 and I was 5 and half..

From that time Stuti has been staying with us. She is my best friend and sister. More than a cousin. She is annoying but I love her.

"wow it's smelling so good." I said her and she smiled

She has a passion for cooking like I have for dancing.

Oh shit sorry I forgot to tell you about me.

I'm Turvi Ahuja, only daughter of Dr. Suraj Ahuja and Mrs. Minakshi Ahuja.

Yes my dad is a doctor.. We belong to the upper middle class. We have enough not too much neither too less.

I have a passion for dance. I learned 3 kinds of dance, belly dance, Bharatanatyam and bollywood and I can dance to any song in any form. I just need to watch the video and practice for a while.

So I think you know me now and other things you will know later.

I ate the poha with a satisfying feeling as my sisy can make a simple and plain poha turn into something special.

Once done we both left for our college.

We have to take an auto rickshaw as we aren't allowed to drive. We are 22 for god sake but no for our parents we are 2.

"I told you to get ready fast, see now we will be late and Mittal sir will not allow us in his class." Stuti said while we are waiting for an auto rickshaw

I ignored her because I know if I said anything she will blame me more.

I was roaming my eyes here and there when I spotted an old man crossing the road and a car coming in speed.

Without thinking about anything I ran towards the old man and saved him as the car was far away and it stopped in front of me only.

"uncle ap thik to ho na? Chot to nahi lagi? (Uncle are you ok? You aren't injured right?)" I asked the uncle who shook his head no

"oh hello, andhe ho kya? Aankhen hai ya button? Dikhta nahi hai ki red signal hai. (Oh hello, are you blind? Are they your eyes or button? Can't you see it's red signal?)" I screamed at the driver of the car

Who the fuck he is? Breaking rules and playing with innocent lives.

A man in his mid thirties came outside. He is wearing all black clothes like those bodyguards shown In movies

"hey girl I'm not in fault this old hag is not watching where he was going " he said with attitude

Ek to chori upar se seena zori? (stealing itself is shameful add blatant indifference on top of it, this is outrageous)

"and how you're not at fault? You broke traffic rules." I argued and felt Stuti coming behind me

"are you OK Turvi?" she asked

"I'm fine," I replied her

"listen don't make it a big issue and move aside." that man said

Arrogant jerk! If a driver is like this only God knows what kind of boss he has.

"Zubair gave her some money and closed the matter." someone said from the car

Who they think I'm? Giving money and all? Do I look like a beggar to them?

I'm not shocked that his driver is this arrogant because his boss is more.

I go towards the car and look at the tinted glass.

" listen here Mr. Richy rich I don't fucking need your money. Do I look like a beggar to you? This road isn't your dad's so you better mind that." I screamed at the man who is sitting in the car

"Turvi shut up and came back. We are getting late." Stuti screamed at me and I sighed

"if I wasn't getting late then I would have shown you what I'm for real. Bloody rich bastards." I cursed and left from there but not before making sure that uncle is safe and making him cross the road.

Stuti always said to me to not talk much because my sharp tongue will he the death of me one day

But little did I know that this thought will be true that my sharp tongue only invited the devil in my life..
