Chapter 7

Kace arrived at the moon shine pack with a sullen look on his face. He hated every bit about them, especially Raphael, their Alpha.

Kace walked up to their entrance but was stopped by the guards there. "State your business" one of the guards said, blocking him from walking any further.

"I have a message from Supreme Alpha Devon" Kace responded, trying to be patient.

"You can give me the message, I will pass it on to the Alpha"

The guard said with a mocking smile on his face.

Kace scoffed, feeling annoyed by their actions "i was told to pass the message directly to him" He snapped at the guard. "Or should i go back and tell the Supreme Alpha i was allowed in" He added, waiting for the guard's response.

As expected the guard grew a little restless by Kace's words. He whispered something to one of the other guards, glancing at Kace. The other guard left quickly and came back a few minutes later, he whispered something into his boss's ear.

"What's all this whispering about, can I go I'm or not?" Kace spat out rolling his eyes. The guard looked at Kace with disgust, before letting him. Kace scoffed mockingly at them as he walked in, "I don't like being here either" he muttered to himself as one of the guards led him to Their Alpha.

As Kace walked into the pack, he saw one of the reasons he Disliked going to the moonshine pack, it was Damien, Alpha Raphael Gamma.

"Kace what a pleasant surprise" Damien said softly, with a fake smile on his face that annoyed Kace to his core.

"Yeah, I know," Kace said, returning the Same smile to him.

"You never visit anymore," Damien added.

"I've been really busy" Kace lied, he purposely avoided anything that had to do with the moonshine pack.

"I heard you have a message from the Alpha supreme?" Damien asked curiously.

"Yes," Kace replied simply, not giving out any more information.

Kace and Damien were once close friends, but everything changed when Devon became the Alpha supreme and he became his Gamma.

Damien became distant from him because his Alpha, Raphael and Devon weren't on good terms.

They finally arrived at a study, Kace was about to walk in when the guard stopped him. "Wait" he said and Kace smiled mockingly at him. The guard Knocked on the door slightly and some seconds later the door was opened by someone from the inside.

Kace walked inside the study looking around, Damien walked in also trailing behind him. There were two bulky Lycans, looking at him from head to toe trying to intimidate him but Kace wasn't intimidated by them.

Raphael sat behind his desk with a file in his hand, he raised his head up when he noticed Kace's presence in the room.

"What is the message I heard you have for me?" Rapahel went straight to the point, without beating around the bush.

Kace walked further into the room and took out the envelope in his jacket, he handed it over to Raphael.

Raphael looked at the envelope curiously before opening to check the contents. His eyes grew wide a little, before he got a hold of himself.

He checked it for a minute more, before opening his drawer and putting the envelope in. Kace was really curious to know the contents of the envelope, he couldn't even get a glimpse, now he would never know.

"Tell The Supreme Alpha that I would pay him a visit soon" Raphael said after a while.

Kace nodded, he waited if Raphael had more to say but it didn't look like it. He bowed his head slightly to show respect, before walking out of the study.

Raphael clenched his forehead when he was certain that Kace was gone.

"What's wrong Alpha?" Damien inquired, with a question on his face.

"He knows about the shapeshifter escaping" Raphael responded.

"Get Adolph here this instant" He added.

Damien left the office immediately to Call the Beta, Adolph.

Raphael got up and walked to his window, he watched as Kace was escorted out by the guards.

"You never cease to amaze me Devon" he muttered to himself.

He made sure to keep it under the covers, but Devon still had a way of knowing things. It annoyed him the most that he had to obey Devon's words as he was Alpha supreme.

Adolph knocked slightly on the door and walked In "you called for me Alpha".

Damien had filled him in on what happened he had no idea how Devon got hold of that information.

"Have you received any information of the shapeshifter whereabouts?, the Alpha Supreme is about to get involved" Raphael inquired, with a grim look on his face.

"He was last seen at the border, we have people looking for him" Lucas answered.

"Just make sure he's caught, those F*cking shapeshifters" Raphael cursed.

"We must not underestimate that bastard, Adolph, he has tricks up his sleeves" He added, as he walked up and poured himself a drink.

He was going to make sure he caught that bastard, Devon must think of him as incompetent now, he thought.

"Do you remember what happened over a decade ago, we cant risk that happening again, it may expose our world, We must find a way to..." Raphael words were interrupted by a knock on the door.

A really gorgeous lady walked in with a mischievous smile on her face. She had a Charm that could make any man weak, if she passed by. " I hope I'm not interrupting" Came her calm, seductive voice like a siren.

Adolph Couldn't help but gaze at her, she was alluring "Leave us" Raphael said coldy to his Beta, who was enchanted already. The Beta bowed slightly before walking out of the study, with his gaze still on the Lady.

"Why are you here?" Raphael asked dryly as he took a sip from his drink. "Do I need a reason to visit?" She retorted back.

"Lilac, what if Devon finds out about you being here? leave" He Said walking back to his seat.

"Can't I visit my dear cousin anymore?, and also I have a reason for being here!" She snapped angrily at Raphael.

"what?" He asked simply. Pouring himself another drink. The lady named lilac poured herself a drink also.

"I heard about Jared escaping from your pack, it's quite funny to me you know" She spat out with a grin on her face.

"News travels really fast" Raphael said with a slightly raised eyebrow, he acted nonchalant but deep down he was restless.

"I think he went to Devon's pack, that bastard" She continued, surprising Raphael with her words.

"what!" He exclaimed surprised.

"Yes, i think Devon would have remembered him by now. we just need to wait and see what happens".
