Chapter 2 Such nerve...

She was originally a popstar from the future. Her real name was Avalyn Sersi, otherwise known as Ava X in Country K. How she got here was something she herself couldn't unravel.

All she recalled was waking up one afternoon only to find herself in a World of insanity. The quest for power and dominance among the Lycanthropes was so deadly.

What about the fact she was not allowed to speak up, just because she was of a weaker race? It kept her stunned and she did anything to make sure she escaped the cruel Alpha's grasp.

Even going as far as embarrassing him in public. Nothing seemed to work.

Avalyn, now known as Queen Selena chuckled because she underestimated this world. It was so much like another reality she was welcomed into.

Now, here she was risking her life just to escape the King's grasp. Selena grabbed the rope-link she made out of her curtains to aid her escape in a tight manner. She clenched her teeth in anger as she recalled looking weak in his grip.

'I will show you that when a human puts her mind on something, she gets it done with full effect! Just wait!!' She uttered in her mind.

He was still paying full attention to whatever the Alpha of Redcrest pack was talking about. But then his thoughts got interrupted by the sudden mind-link call from his third-in-command.

[Alpha, an Omega requests to see you. She says it's about the Queen.] The Gamma's inner voice stated, not giving out clear information about what was happening.

'What is she up to now??' he sighed inwardly as he was about to face-palm himself in the presence of the other Alphas.

[Pfft... She's up to no good again!] Rocky, his wolf sniggered and rubbed its face with its paw.

Alpha Ryker sighed and he rose from his throne, sending a terrifying gaze to the other Alphas who were expecting him to respond to their claims.

"Meeting adjourned." His seductive lips moved as he met every of their stupefied gazes.

[Are you kidding me!?] One of the Alphas questioned in his thoughts as he sent the King a gaze that looked challenging.

Ryker's eyes met with his, and he zeroed them on his face. His azure-blue eyes twinkled with wicked amusement as he arched his elegant brow.

"Any problem?" The air in the throne hall changed and it felt suffocating. The other Alphas couldn't help but feel the air of supremacy coming from Ryker.

He proved to the others that no other Alpha could supersede his powerful aura. This was a reason why he was known as the Supreme Alpha.

"Your Majesty, this is outrageous!" One of the Alphas rose from his seat this time around. He was a middle-aged looking man, and was filled with vigor and strength.

To him, it was a disrespect to the old Lycans because it was a matter that dealt with Lycaria.

"Need I remind you of who owns the throne!?!?" The Supreme Alpha's voice resounded in the throne hall. It was powerful enough to shake the hall from its roots.

Any of the maids who passed by would surely scamper away in fear due to the fact that his pheromones was already over the place.

The middle-aged Alpha could not help but bow his head in submission to the Supreme Alpha's authority. His action was also a sign that he was sorry of his earlier action.

Ryker didn't look his direction. Due to his impatience, he strutted out of the hall to meet the Maid who had an information about the Queen.

For no reason, every thing about Selena riled him up. She always drove him off the edge and it made him question his ability to be unaffected in situations.

'Just don't do anything crazy this time, Selena. I swear I won't forgive you if you do.' he uttered in his mind as he strode down the hallways without care.

Moments later...

"Spit it out." His rugged voice wafted into Tanya's terrified ears and she trembled before him.

Realizing she couldn't stand before him, she fell on her knees grovelling.

"Y-your Majesty! The Queen is nowhere to be found!" Her words came out in a rush. It was probably because she was worried about Selena.

Where did she go? Of all things to think about, she kept thinking of escaping the castle and its crazy rules.

His face turned dark like the bottom of a clay pot as soon as he heard her words. Selena was missing??

'Goddamn it!' he cussed inwardly and turned to leave the room in a flash.

Tanya thought he would get angry at her and make sure she would suffer for not preventing the Queen from leaving. But she was wrong.

'Eh...? He-he didn't...' before she could complete the words in her head, two menacing looking guards stormed in.

The ink tattoos of the head of a Lycan on their shoulders gleamed on their tanned skin. They grabbed her by the arm without a word while the maid could only protest.

...

He yanked the rope-link and clenched his teeth feeling no weight or whatsoever on it. The aura around him turned so glacial that it was enough to turn a fly frozen mid-air.

[That lowly wench...] He uttered with displeasure in his mind while he slammed his eyes shut.

[Just kill her already. She's nothing to us!] His wolf started to go on a rampage because it was deceived of her appearance. As much as he would like to take control over its master, he knew it was for the best if he remained dormant.

His sharp ears took in the footsteps of the guard who stormed into the room. He appeared behind Ryker and bowed his head because of the menacing air the king's pheromones gave.

"Talk." He snapped at the guard who was quick to respond to him.

"That... Your Majesty, the guards have been knocked out, and some clothes went missing."

'The nerve of that human...'
