Chapter 4 A pretty large teddy

After dinner Belinda went to Andrea's room because she was feeling uncomfortable, she had guessed she'll feel better after speaking to her.

"Hi sist, not yet in bed". Andrea asked immediately Belinda opened the door of her room.

"No I really wanted to speak to you". Belinda said walking into Andrea's room.

"What's the problem?." Andrea questioned sitting up on her bed.

"Most of the people in your school are rude, I don't mean they are bad but........"

"I understand." Andrea interrupted Belinda who was struggling to speak.

"it's your first day so it's normal". Andrea carelessly said.

"No, you don't understand, it's like your school is filled with rich and rude people, I really don't know how you manage to cope." Belinda tried to explain.

"Our school not just my school point of correction". Andrea said before she went on.

"I understand what you are talking about, some girls in Asian Tado especially those popular ones in your class likes to be worshipped, but the thing is don't give them that chance to see you as a nobody just stay away from them, if there are situations when you need to fight don't hesitate to do so." Andrea advises.

"Fight??? I don't think that's an option." Belinda opposed.

''You have always liked being calm but I don't think that's going to help you sist, just listen to my advice and you will be fine." Andrea said tapping her shoulder before falling back on her bed.

"Good night ". Belinda said standing up to leave.

"Good night." Andrea muttered with a sleepy voice.

Belinda went back to her room and laid on her bed as she thought about the incident at school today, she just prayed tommorow will be better..

MORNING 🌞

Belinda work up pretty late today, she rushed into the bathroom and took a quick shower. She decided to dress better than she did yesterday, Andrea was right, it was not good for people to see you as low class.

She wore a gold pencil gown that's wasn't too long or too short , she arrange her hair properly and packed all of them to the back, she looked at the mirror and was satisfied with her looks.

" Belinda!!!!". She heard Andrea scream her name, Immediately she picked up her bag and ran out of her room.

"You look better today." Andrea praised as she walked down the stairs.

"Thanks." Came Belinda's simple reply.

"You should dress like this everyday, so those handsome guys at school can... you know...". Andrea dramatically said.

"Andrea stop being naughty." Belinda scolded as she worked to the kitchen.

"Good morning Mom." she greeted her mom.

"Oh morning dear, have you had breakfast?". Her mom asked.

"Mom it's fine I will just get something at school." She replied, pecked her mom and ran after Andrea who already left.

Getting to school the first period just began and the teacher was just about to start teaching.

"Phew... thank God at least I'll get to understand something today". Belinda said to herself.

It's seems it was the same subject as yesterday because it was the same teacher, she guessed as she strolled to look for a seat.

"Belinda! Belinda!". Alicia whispered.

"Come seat here". She said when Belinda turned to her

Belinda smiled and went to seat with her.

"I kept this seat for you immediately I got to school, I told them you were seated here and just went out to speak to someone." Alicia continued to whisper.

"Thank you." Belinda whispered back and they both smiled before they faced the man in front of them.

"So I got a letter from the social prefect." Came the audible voice of the teacher.

"It says you guys are having a program on friday evening, and they'll also be electing new student with nice performance to join the social club@. The teacher announced.

"Wow! Oh my God that's nice news." The voices of the students could be heard as they murmured .

"That's enough!." Teacher half yelled and the class went silent immediately.

"I want to take you guys a little today on the topic free acting". The teacher announced.

"These kind of skills are normally practiced by professional actors, it's simply a case when they will have to make different scene without a script, but I'm sure you talented kids can do it and impress the principal right?". The teacher questioned smiling.

"Yes!!" The whole class chorused.

The main reason Mr Lakid wanted them to do the free acting is because it will impress alot of people if it's done properly.

"Indicate if you can't do it." He shouted out to the whole class.

Nobody's hands was up so Belinda decided to keep her hands down too.

"Okay that's good, anyone I point will be the one to pick the characters but remember you can only pick those that are not members of the social club. have I made myself clear." He shouted.

"Yes sir". The students chorused.

"Okay let's rock the acting, you come out." He said pointing at Alicia.

Alicia stared at her back and stared at Mr Lakid, she was obviously surprised.

"ME???." She asked.

"Yes you." He harshly answered.

Alicia was feeling really shy, why will he chose her out of everyone in the class, she slowly walked to the front of the class and stood there feeling uncomfortable.

"Chose your characters." The teacher ordered.

"Remember you must pick just 4 people I want a short play of just five characters." He informed.

"Okay sir." Came Alicia's response.

Things will be far better if Belinda joined her here, she thought as she moved her eyes around the class. Students raised their hands so she can notice them.

"Belinda." Alicia called.

"What, are you crazy???." Belinda screamed in her head.

"Okay Belinda out." The teacher added and everyone turned to stare at her.

"Hope she can do it the properly". Some students murmured angry that she was chosen and not them.

Belinda stood up and walked out as she glared danger's at Alicia. She was so going to kill her, she thought to herself.

"Bella, jark and Celyn." Alicia continued.

Lily, Megien and the rest of them turned to glare at her immediately she called Celyn, it as if she had committed a sin.

"Celyn." Alicia repeated when she didn't come Celyn didn't walk out.

"Miss Nabort please go out." Mr Lakid patiently instructed.

"But I'm not interested, i mean I don't want to act with people like them." Celyn arrogantly said.

"But you are not among the school social club, so you are not any better than them so go out." Mr Lakid ordered.

Celyn took her bag and hit it had on the chair before walking to the front of the class, stepping her feet harshly on the ground as if she had plans to break it.

She got to the front of the class and folded her arms looking angry.

"Okay Alicia give me nice characters." Came the teacher's voice. "Okay, I will be Mom, Jark dad and Bella and Belinda our children." Alicia boldly boldly announced.

"Brilliant, what about Celyn." Mr Lakid asked.

"Uhmm I guess she will go wait in the store room until I call." Alicia replied staring at Celyn.

"Whatever." Celyn said as she chewed her gum loudly and walked to the store.

"Okay action." The teacher announced.

Mom (Alicia): Hi honey you are back,welcome (hugging her husband).

Dad (Jark): yeah thanks, where are the kids.

Mom ( Alicia): They are inside, children your father is back.

The two children ran out to hug their father.

Children: welcome Dad.

Dad: how are you guys doing..

Mom: I got you guys something when returning from the market.

Alicia said and walked to the store room and brought Celyn out.

Mom: I went to the toy store and got you guys a large pretty teddy.

Children: thanks Mom, they ran towards the dummy and held her hand.

"Don't touch me!." Celyn yelled pushing their hands away.

"Celyn you're a toy, you can't talk." Mr Lakid warned.

Mom: you are welcome.

"Okay, cut." Mr Lakid announced.

"That was nice but Celyn you need to put more effort." Mr Lakid rated

"I don't want to be among this and you can't force me." Celyn said obviously angry that Alicia is trying to make a fool out of her, in front of the whole school.

"You better practice hard on how to act like a teddy, you might be the first to get chosen." Mr Lakid said and walked out of the class even before the sound of the bell was heard.

Celyn bounced to he seat took her bag and stormed out of the class, Lily kept glaring danger's at Alicia.

"You think you are smart." Lily said to Alicia before walking away with the rest of them.

Bella busted into laughter immediately they left.

"Alicia are you carzy or what?." Bella asked and continued laughing.

"Don't you think that was too bad." Belinda asked as the went back to their seat along with Bella.

"I don't think so." Bella fired.

"They made me drink expired juice on my first day of school". Bella added

"I don't see anything wrong in what I did." Alicia said as they sat down ready for the for the next class.
