Alexander's pov

"hey dude" the boys entered and greeted as we all did our normal handshake and I went to the sink to wash my hands

"dude you will never change, even if you never had this allergic illness to people you still would have been doing this your washing hands stuff" Karl said and I sigh

"dude you are looking all moody what's up" Kelly asked but I still remain silent

"xandra doesn't just understand how it feels for me to be here, she thinks am avoiding people because of my illness but she doesn't know that I don't just want to be here at all, I hate associating with this low life people" I said and kelvin stood up and came close to me

"man listen to me it's all gonna be over soon, it's just this year right and that's it just do what your father wants which is to have this certificate and that's it we are gone and decides we have our own building here in this campus so it's no big deal, none of those low life's will cross our paths ". For the first time in kelvin's life he has said something meaningful

" but am sorry my b*tches will definitely come over, because I always need to f*ck " he continued and I sigh, this guy and f*ck ohhh goodness

" bring in your b*tches or your wh*res or whatever I don't give a f*ck I just don't want to see them in this hall, you take them to the other hole and that's it" I concluded

"yes boss that's for sure" he stood erect with his hand on his forehead. I walked away from them and sat down with my phone while they continued chit-chating

"if I see that teacher that is supposed to teach us now he is definitely kneeling down for keeping us waiting this early morning" Karl said in annoyance

They are all mad boys, i remembered when I first met them in a casino putting pounds and dollars on the table for a game but they couldn't win, while I came in and decided to help and finally took all of the money that they had loose back to them from there we became friends, I later came to discover that they weren't bad at all

I looked at them and smiled inwardly as kelvin was busy watching p*rn, this one would never change

ALICIA'S POV

"Alicia please help me out a little" siress called me as I looked at him as he showed me a book

"didn't get what the biology teacher was saying so can you please help me out" he said again

"OK come close let me explain" I took the book as he drew nearer just as I was about explaining, someone suddenly closed the book

"hey newbie" I took my head up and saw a light skin girl, very skinny but her ascent was nice, her short brown hair was held in a ponytail, she is quite beautiful

" I saw the way you just kept answering questions here and there just because you wanted all the gratitude and praise right, well let me tell you something this school is mine, if you think you are intelligent more than me then you are wasting your time newbie because I beat you to it " she said staring at me as if she was waiting for me to say something

" Anita return to your seat immediately "I heard someone say and I turned to the direction and saw the beautiful rich girl, am sure that her name is Alexandra

" no Alex I want to tell this low life insurance, scholarship giver that she is just a pest because her beauty is nothing " she said and I sigh inwardly if only she knows that she is wasting her time here blabbering rubbish because I won't say a thing

"Anita I said return immediately" the Alexandra girl said again and the Anita looked at me with disgust and left. What a wonderful talkative

"who is she??" I asked siress and he smiled. I wonder why he smiles all the time he really acts like a nerd

"she is Anita Suarez, daughter of the senator, she is very intelligent, she is always takes the first position in the whole school, she has her members there with her and Alexandra is one of them and from rumors I have heard she is only friends with Alexandra because she is in love with her brother and their money ". Siress explained and I shook my head

" they are all rich kids so they don't have a problem with their lives " I said and opened the book to continue teaching him

" I have noticed you don't talk too much Alicia " Siress said and I smiled

" Am just like that dear and yes I haven't seen any of your friends why?? " I asked and he suddenly became sad

" I don't have friends Alicia, you are the first friend I have had since last year I started coming to this school " he said and I was surprised

" hmmm but why? " I asked and he sigh

" everyone says am a nerd that I act insane and I don't know why" he said and I felt bad for him

"that's sad, come on don't be moody OK you are not a nerd and from today you are my best friend" I said and he hugged me happily

"ohhh ohh am so sorry let me clean up your uniform" he said and made to clean but I stopped him

"hey its fine ok and decides we are best friends right" I said and he nodded happily

The hectic day at school was over, I walked faster to the restaurant in order not to get late, I saw the rich girl again as a range rover drove her out of the school, wow that means this girl has a place in this country just look at the car she came and went back with. Anyway I pray to be like her someday and I pray God helps me

I walked faster and faster to my work place, a limousine passed by and flashed muddy water on my body

"oh my how can people be this cruel?" I asked no one in particular as I continued my journey I even walked passed the limo as it pulled over, I didn't even care to know who it was or why the car stopped I just continued my journey faster, I can't be late or I won't get paid today and I won't have any money to pay for the rent

"Good afternoon ma'am" I greeted the manager of the restaurant and she didn't reply as usual, she is always cruel, I walked directly into the kitchen and changed into my work uniform and started taking orders

"Alicia you just came back from school?" miss Chan the head chef asked. She is normally a Chinese, her ascent tells it all, she is very kind to me here in this restaurant more than the other workers

"yes miss Chan, I couldn't miss this opportunity today I have to pay for my rent" I told her and she touched my Hair

"you will definitely get paid today OK" she said smiling and I nodded

"now come on serve that customer" she said giving me a plate of hamburger and cheese sauce to serve as I left

EVENING

We all lined up in the managers office waiting to receive our salaries, the workers were paid one by one till it reach my turn, I sent my hands forward to collect my payment only for me to be shocked

"hey move aside" the manager said and I was surprised

"ma'am you gave me just 20,000 dollars" I said confused

"so how much were you expecting??" she asked chewing her gum like a prostitute

"ma'am am sorry but you made a mistake it was supposed to be 40.000 dollars not 20" I said and she laughed

"so last week you came late you didn't notice and today you came late again still didn't notice huh?" she asked smirking

"ma'am I told you last week that I took my sister to the hospital because of her asthma problem and I taught you understood me and today it's because of the school that I arrived here late, you have to understand ma'am am a student" I said but she pushed me aside and I fell but was caught by miss Chen, I turned to look at her as she continued sharing the money to the rest of the workers

"ma'am please try to understand me, I........." I made to plead but she called the security to throw me out

"come late again and expect to receive full payment you b*tch" she said moving inside, I stood up, clean my uniform and started working home

"Alicia wait up" I heard and turned to see miss Chan running towards me

"miss Chan you are not too young again OK so please stop running" I told her and ran towards her instead

"here dear take this ten thousand dollars and add it to yours OK, pay your rent and this 5000 dollars look for something so that you and Silver can eat this evening and tommorow morning before going to school OK" she said stretching fifteen thousand dollars to me

"no miss Chan thank you, you have done a lot for me already this is your personal salary you worked hard for this so please keep it and send your little grandchild to school with it" I told her covering the money in her hands but she insisted

"my grandchild goes to school remember, his mother in France takes care of his fees and his belongings remember" she said opening my palms and putting the money, I hugged her tightly as I didn't know what else to say to her

"thank you so much for everything miss Chan I really appreciate it thank you so much" I said crying and she cleaned my tears with her palms

"hey stop crying OK you are my strong little Alicia remember" she said and I smiled and hugged again while she bid me goodbye and left

I turned to my direction and took on my heels, my sister must be very hungry, I stopped at the eatery shop and bought some bread and hotdog and some little juice for Silver as I hurried home with it

"princess silver am home" I shouted as she rushed out of the kitchen to hug me

"you took so long to get home" she said staring at me

"yeah I know that kiddo and am sorry ok but guess what I bought" I said putting the nylon up as she smelled it

"hmmmm hot dog" she said licking her lips as I gave her the nylon and she opened it and started eating as I stare at her and smiled

I wish I could give you more than this Silver, how I wish I could make you feel happy like other kids out there

"sis won't you eat?? Have some" she said pointing at the plastic

"no silver am OK, I have already eaten"i told her and she smiled

" you don't eat much sis but you still get beautiful and curvy every day "she said and I laughed, what a funny woman

I wouldn't pray for mom to still be here with us because she suffered a lot before going up there, she died while giving birth to silver, I just hope wherever the monster I call my father is he should never have peace

Silver ate and fell asleep on the one couch that we had, I woke up and carried her to the bed and took my bath, did my prayers and went to bed.
