"How was your night? Eva asked Alexander teasingly as she opened the door for him to come into her apartment. I doubt you came here to swoon," Eva said, quickly changing the subject while Alexander gave her a knowing smile "Oh, I came by to talk to you about something else." "Oh, what's up?" She asked, "I want to tell Zane about us I want to go into this honestly... we've been dancing around each other for so long, I think he deserves to know," he said Yeah, there's no problem with this; I just hope he doesn't hate me. Alexander said as he moved toward the door, "Tell me how it goes." Eva said as he left, "Will do." He replied that Eva was happy for her friends and hoped things didn't get awkward between her and Zane; she would hate to lose him as a friend. "I should thank Logan for dropping me off yesterday," she said to no one in particular as she grabbed her phone "Hey, Logan. I just wanted to drop by and thank you again for last night. I appreciate it," she said as he picked her up. "Hi, beautiful. It was No problem. I told you yesterday you do not have to thank me," he let out in his very sexy voice. Besides, it was all worth it I got to see you after almost a week of not being able to see your beautiful face at work." "Thanks for the compliment, Logan." Eva could have ended the conversation here but she had to continue. "Why are you still awake right now? You are supposed to be taking time off work for a few days. The deal is almost closed. Leave it to the others. Well, when you are used to not resting, it's very hard to do so I was just checking through some files that needed my attention before the next meeting." "Can I ask why you did not like me?" Eva wondered how she would answer this question but she decided to be honest anyway "I had sort of labeled you a Playboy from day one. I believed what the tabloids said about you, and to be honest, who you sleep with should not be my business. And I should not have judged you based on that; it was wrong of me." "Oh? What changed?" Ha, Alex spoke to me about what you did." Okay." Eva had the feeling she had upset him, and she did not want that, not when he had been kind enough to drop her off when he could have just let her out of his home. He wasn't obligated to do any of the nice things he did for her, but he did them anyway. "Can we start over?" she decided to ask him. "We can on one condition." "What?" Eva replied, "I take you out on a date." "I want to go to the aquarium," he said. "The aquarium?" Yes." Eva didn't know what she expected; she assumed he would want some expensive date, not an aquarium date. Well, the place is big and if we walk around long enough, we will have good conversations and get to know each other more." Ok, let's go," Eva replied. Great, I'll pick you up at 9am tomorrow morning," he said, sounding very excited They spent the next hours talking on the phone while she made dinner , took a shower and did her nighttime routine.
