"What have I done?" He asked himself, holding his face in his hands.
The shower is still running, steaming up the bathroom. Ethan sitting naked on the floor. His knees up to his chest. Staring into the abyss.
There was a knock on his room door.
"Sir, is everything all right in there?" One of the guards screams from outside of his room.
"Everything is fine." Annoyance filled my voice. "Find Roman, and tell him to meet me in my office."
"Understood sir." The guard said and disappeared.
Making his way to his feet. Ethan grabbed a pair of jeans and a T-shirt. He quickly got dressed and made his way to his office on the other side of the castle.
"Ethan, you sent for me." Roman said with his hand reached out, to show a handshake.
Ethan didn't acknowledge his hand and walked around his table and sat down. Placing his hand on his head.
"Get ten of our best men. We are going out." I said with an irritated tone.
"Where are we heading? If I may ask." Roman replied with confusion. One eyebrow raised.
"To find Mia. Or her body for that matter." I leaned back in my chair.
"Why?" Roman asked with a hesitant tone.
"Because there are those that need closure. We need to have a proper funeral for her. No more questions. Go and gather our men so we can head out." I stood up from my chair walking towards the window.
"But Ethan." I cut Roman off in his sentence.
"Now!" I ordered Roman.
Roman nodded and made his way out of Ethan's office. Ethan stared out of the window staring down at the children playing. The thought of one of the little pups getting hurt or die is a thought he pushes aside. Before making his way out of his office to meet Roman and the other men, he grabbed his hat and headed out.
Ethan made his way to the courtyard where Roman and his men were waiting.
Mia's mother Mace ran towards him, in tears.
"Please tell me you will find her." Mace asked tears running down her face.
"Even if it takes forever. I will bring answers." While saying this I climbed onto my horse.
"Thank you, Ethan, just be safe." She said taking a step back.
Ethan nodded and gave the horse a soft kick on its side and the horse started to walk. The rest of the men followed including Roman. Leaving through the castle gates Roman rushed his horse and pulled in right beside Ethan.
"Are you sure you should be making those kinds of promises?" Roman asked while mimicking the hose's movement.
"I need answers. They do too. You will not question my discussions. Do we understand each other?"
"Yes sir." Roman replied and slowed down and fell in with the rest of the men.
They arrived at the beach. Ethan climbed from his horse and walked to the waters. The cold breeze was blowing on his face. He took a deep breath and turned to his men.
"Okay, men. I hope you brought loads of sunscreen because we are going to need it. We will start here and make our way around the coast. We will not stop until we find Mia. Dead or alive. We will head North and continue." I said, turning back to the waters. "I will find you, and I will bring you home Mia." I whispered to myself.
Jumping onto his horse they started to walk along the coast. The sun burning their skin. Ethan was not willing to stop for anything. not until he has found Mia.

Mia's Point of View
As Mia and Aspen return to the castle, Mia feels a strange pain through her body. She fell to the ground, crying because of the pain. At first, everyone thought it was because of the fall. That she is still recovering. They informed the king and queen that Mia had, had an accident and they quickly rushed to the nursing tent.
"Is she going to be, okay?" Maya asked tears filling her eyes.
"Yes, my queen she is going to be fine. She just needs a bit of rest." Eve said while bowing.
"What happened?" Kylo asked irritated.
"Sir if I may? We were walking back to the castle from the beach." Kylo cuts Aspen off mid-sentence.
"The beach?" Kylo asked furiously.
"Yes sir, she requested that I take her to the spot where you found her." Aspen replied staring at the ground while on guard.
"You will never take her there again; do you understand me? She is never to go near the beach." Kylo commanded Aspen then he nodded in understanding.
"Apologies sir. It will never happen again."
"Good. Nurse arranges for her to be transported to the castle, and one of you will take care of her there." Kylo commanded Eve.
"Yes sir. I will arrange accordingly." Eve nodded and made her way to Aspen. "Will you please take her to the castle? I will meet you there, I just need to gather my things." Eve asked Aspen.
"Of course." Aspen nodded and called his men, and they escorted me to the castle.
Mia could hear everything that was going on around her. Unfortunately, she couldn't move or speak. Her whole body was numb because of the painkillers Eve had given to her. Mia eventually fell asleep.
As the night went on the night air became cold. A storm was brewing. Lighting flashing in the sky. The loud rumbling of thunder woke Mia up from her sleepy wonder. She still felt woozy from the medication that Eve had given her.
Her eyes heavy.
Squinting her eyes, she noticed Aspen was sitting across from her.
"Aspen?" A soft tone left my mouth.
"Mia. You're awake. How are you feeling?" He asked with sympathy in his tone.
"Still a bit sore but better. What happened?" I tried to sit up straight. Letting out a moan.
"Hey, you need to take it easy. Okay?" Aspen grabbed me to help.
"I'm fine. I just need something to drink. Will you please get me a glass of water?"
"Sure. Give me a minute or two please." Aspen asks rushing out of the room.
Mia tried to get to her feet but fell to the floor. Mia turned around to rest against the bed. Her head spinning. She tried to stand up one more time and succeeded. Making her way to the window she sat on the frame. Staring out to the garden. The cold- night breeze blew against her face. She closed her eyes. Trying to remember how she ended up here.
Aspen came into the room with a cold glass of water. The water, dripped off the glass onto the floor leaving water prints.
"You're not supposed to be out of bed. Come on let me tuck you in." Aspen said softly.
"No. No." I shooed him away. "I want to feel the rain on my face. The cold-night airs. Just give this to me. Please." Leaning against the window frame.
"Okay sure, but I'm going to sit here. Just to make sure you don't fall to your death." A giggle broke free from his serious face.
"Did I tell you?"
"Tell me what?" Aspen raised one eyebrow.
"That I find you attractive, and that you are so much nicer than my mate I have back home." Saying this I started to giggle. "He is a massive douchebag. He rejected me you know." My head swinging left and right.
"Come on, let's get you to bed." Aspen picked me up and carried me to bed.
"No. I don't want to sleep." Before I could say anything else, I dozed off.

Maya's Point of View
"What the fuck are we going to do?" Kylo asked in frustration. "Could she be transforming into a werewolf?"
"Honey, I don't know. We never had late bloomers." I said while putting on my silk sleeping gown.
"What if she is? What if she transforms and will never be able to become human again? Fuck! what are we to do with this?"
"Sweetie, calm down. I don't think that could be it." I said while climbing into bed.
"What if it is? It is all the symptoms of turning into a wolf. Washing up on the beach with not one single scar. The pain she experienced. All signs point to it." Kylo passed back and forth in front of our bed.
"Darling, please come to bed. We will have a discussion with her when she is feeling better okay."
Kylo joined Maya in the bed. Maya is worried but isn't showing any signs of it. Wolves change into their wolf forms, at an early age. They knew Mia didn't turn into a wolf because this happens in the first week of birth. Mia was kidnapped at the age of three weeks.

The thunder got louder throughout the night. Rain poured down heavily. The entire village was fast asleep. Except for the guards on standby. Doing their round around the castle walls. Making sure no intruder enters. Guards soaking wet.
Silence filled the village. With the heavy rains, it makes things difficult to hear or spot anyone. This makes the guards extra vigilant.
Mia is woken up by Aspen snoring. She feels much better. Quickly getting dressed she made her way out of the castle. The rain had stopped but the skies were still cloudy outside. Mia had heard what was said to Aspen. That she wasn't allowed to go to the beach. This didn't stop her.
She sneaked passed the guards and made her way out of the castle gates without being detected. She always sneaked out of her packs gates to go to her secret spot.
Mia had a spot where she would always go and just enjoy the silence. It was about five miles away from her old home. Where there was a river running, with flowers all around the bank. The stream of the river always seemed to calm her down.
To take away her pain for not being a wolf.
Mia made her way to the beach. To the spot where Kylo had found her. She sat on the spot. Staring out to sea. Trying to remember but to no avail. Shaking her head, she placed it between her legs. Before making her way to her feet, she hears voices.
