Chapter 4 A New Beginning

The young master's flight landed in SeaTac Friday evening signaling the start of the last stage of his training for his family. Upon exiting the plane, the young master opens the envelope that his uncle handed him before boarding his flight. Inside the envelope is his new ID and 500$ cash to get him started.

"It seems that I really am starting at the bottom." Checking the envelope one last time he notices a piece of paper folded to one side and a key.

"Though you may not use our family's wealth, there is nothing stating that you are not allowed to have help from a family that is not associated with ours. That being said, you are not allowed to become a member of another family or marry until after your 23rd birthday. You must live either on your own or as a servant to another family. This is to teach you how the other side of society lives.

P.S. The key is for a small studio apartment in Seattle. Only the first month is paid for so you will have to fend for yourself from that point on.

"Well at least I get to keep my real name." Looking at his ID again as he reads the name Estrada, Michael. All the information matches his real life "At least I don't have to hear Young Master for a while. First thing is first, let's go check out the address on my ID."

Michael flags down a taxi right outside the airport and heads to his new home. The trip to the apartment cost him 48$, He hands the driver 50 and heads into the apartment building and up to his room on the 3rd floor. "Small but it will work, need to pick up some food and supplies and start on finding work as soon as possible. A lot of work to do." Since the apartment is still empty, Michael finds a spot on the floor and gets some sleep.

Over the next few days Michael heads into downtown Seattle looking for work though due to his age it is not an easy task. One evening while he was headed home, he caught sight of a man being pulled into an alley way by a couple of men holding knives a couple blocks ahead. Deciding to check it out he walks over and rounds the corner intime to see the man laying on the ground with a blade in his stomach and the two thugs running out the opposite side of the alley.

"Shit, hold on I'll get you out of here." Michael runs up to the injured man and immediately starts first aid.

"Please help me." The man says and passes due to blood loss and pain.

Quick to react Michael patches the man up as well as he can with what he has and carries him the rest of the way to his apartment. "Stay with me, I'll get you fixed up."

During his training with his family michael had to go through medical training as well. Having a photographic memory, he was able to pick it up quickly. Added to his combat training Michael had a very steady hand and was very efficient with surgical tasks. He ended up completing his medical training in less than a year. With in an hour Michael had the man stitched up and stable.
