Chapter 5 WEREWOLF

"What the hell was that?" Raelynn queried angrily.

"Calm your nerves down girl" Zoey tried pacifying.

"She fucking called me stinky" Raelynn yelled loudly, trying to perceive if she really smelt bad.

"Well that's kinda true" Zoey said sheepishly.

"What .."

"I mean your wolf,I didn't mean you" Zoey quickly added.

"What wolf..?"

"Stop trying to play dumb girl,I told you earlier to switch it off, don't you have any of these" Zoey showed Raelynn a Ruby necklace she was wearing.

"What the hell is this?" Raelynn asked, speechless.

"This stops a werewolf smell from going out"

"So you're saying you're one?" Raelynn pointed out confusedly.

"Are you trying to be dumb, of course I am one, so are you" Zoey said, before realizing they've already walked away from the class blocks.

"Oh my goodness,I can't believe this!!" Raelynn exclaimed mouth ajar.

"Believe what?'

"You're literally the first werewolf I am meeting in my life" Raelynn happily said as Zoey gave her a knowing gaze.

"What do you mean?" Zoey asked, confused.

"Well I actually moved here because I wanted to find out more about my kind,who would have thought they were right in this school" Raelynn responded as Zoey stared at her shocked.

"You're saying...'

"I've never met a werewolf"

"That's why you had no idea about that smell thing" Zoey reasoned out.

"Yea totally!" Raelynn replied.

"Then you just met the right person, I'll teach you everything you need to know about werewolves, now come on," Zoey Said, pulling Raelynn wrist.

"Like now, I mean we have classes"

"Then I guess we'll be missing classes today" said Zoey, dragging Raelynn along before they get caught by any staff.

Raelynn just followed along speechless, this is her first day at school and she's gonna miss class.

"Would you like to come in?" Raelynn asked as they got to her dorm, luckily no teacher caught them,so they were both off the loop.

Zoey nodded her head and stepped inside.

"I don't know but you're very lucky not to have a roommate"

"I guess"

"And that's perfect, I'll come crash here on a daily basis"

"But the rules state that..."

"Forget about rules girl, besides you just broke one" Zoey interrupted, reminding Raelynn she just skipped class.

"Ohk,what year are you?"

"Senior year" on Zoey's reply Raelynn's enthusiasm fell.

"No need to be sad,your seniors will always be there for you,and trust me, it's better to hang around seniors" Zoey informed as Raelynn's eyes brightened up again.

Raelynn smiled widely,it was more than good to know she made a friend and a senior at that.

"Thanks," Raelynn uttered thankfully.

"No probs" Zoey asked as she looked at the picture frame that Raelynn earlier placed on the table.

"Your mother?" She asked picking it up.

"Yea"

"A werewolf?"

"No"

"Then you were adopted" Zoey reasoned cause that could be a more reasonable excuse for Raelynn not to know about other werewolves.

"No, she's my birth mother" Raelynn answered,she already knew where all this was driving to.

"If she's human,then your father was a werewolf, if am correct, then why didn't he let you know about our kind"

"Well, he's late, he passed away when I was younger" Raelynn lied,the Truth is she never met him and doesn't know if he's dead or alive, and her mother never really talked about him.

And there were no photos of him anywhere.

"So sorry about that" Zoey sympathized before going on with her questions.

"What about his pack?"

"What's a pack!!" Raelynn asked, confused, all these werewolf stuff was already messing up with her head.

"All werewolves belong to a pack,which is ruled by an Alpha, every werewolf belongs to one, I belong to a pack also, and Levi's father is the Alpha of the Blue blur pack and my father's his Beta" Zoey explained patiently as Raelynn noted everything down.

"So Levi's a werewolf?"

"Yes, and believe me they're more in this school"

"Like the one I just had a fight with?" Raelynn smartly reasoned out, if the girl said she stinked,it was probably because of her smell.

"Exactly"

"So how do I switch off this smell, and how will you know it's a werewolf smell?"

"Werewolves all smell like a Dog that got drenched in the rain and then fell into wet earth"

"Oh, I guess you guess really hate that smell, then how are you managing staying this close"

"Come on it's not so bad, and tomorrow we're gonna do something about it"offered Zoey as she grabbed a bottle of water gulping it down.

"And how's that possible?" Raelynn asked, putting some of her stuff in place.

"Tomorrow night, we'll visit my pack house to get you a Ruby necklace"

"And how do we do that? School's still in session and the rules clearly state that..."

"Forget about rules Raelynn" Zoey interrupted slumping on the bed like a starfish.

"How do we leave, without being noticed?" Raelynn queried as the thought of leaving school on the second day of resumption gave her goosebumps,and she hasn't even called her mother yet, she only texted her saying she's fine.

"We're werewolves, one, we have speed, Sense of hearing and we can easily buy our way out if caught." Zoey explained lazily.

"Our" Raelynn said emphasizing on the word 'our' because Zoey sounded as if they were more people.

"Least I forget, they're others"

"What others!!?

"Hmm hmm, our group"

"What group?" Raelynn asked again,it seems she has asked too many questions just for today.

"The C7, that's Levi, Brittany,and I, I'll introduce you to the others tomorrow"

"Wow!" Raelynn exclaimed speechless,that explained the endless stares the students had been throwing at her. At first she thought it was because of Levi, but now she knows Zoey Is one of them too.

"Why are you being so nice to me?' Raelynn voiced her thoughts out, cause it all seemed confusing.

"I like you, and you'll make a good friend" came Zoey curt reply as she yawned loudly.

"Don't tell me you're going to sleep"

"Hmm hmm"

"But you promised to join me in arranging,"Raelynn protested.

"I'll do that after a short nap, and your bed is really cozy to sleep on" Zoey said before drifting into her wonderland.

Raelynn exhaled heavily, picking up all her things that were lying about.
