Chapter 5 Mine

Rechel Hedly's P O V

He stared at me for a few seconds and then nodded his head and left the room like nothing happened. I stood there shocked for a few seconds before taking a few breaths of relief and walks out of the door.

My eyes wandered around the place before I spot him, talking and laughing with Tina! My best friend Tina!

How the hell does he even know her? Or wait? Are they friends? Why didn't Tina tell anything about him to me?!

"Why will she ever tell about her werewolves friends to you? Didn't she promise to never tell anyone about your identity other then her family?" My wolf said with a sigh as she stared at the scene in front of us.

My thoughts started to wander around as I look at them and that's when I noticed another person, Rose, Damon's wife. She stood beside him with a smile, talking to Tina like she is her friend too!

What is going on?! How come someone as good as Tina can be friends with peoples like that?! Doesn't Tina know what kind of peoples they are?!

My heart weighs down at the sight and I don't know what to do. I turned to turn my eyes from them and tried to move but Tina's eyes, which was searching for something met mine.

"Rechel! Come here!" She called out to me with a bright smile, making few peoples turns to look at her and then me.

I forced the bulge down the throat and forced a smile, nodding my head and walking towards her. Both Damon and Rose's eyes are on me and with Rose's look, I can tell she recognised me very well.

"This is Damon Logan, the Alpha of the Moonlight Pack, this is Rose, his beautiful sweetheart" Tina introduced them to me innocently, with a smile on her face. Then she leaned into whisper, not so silently, "He is also the richest man in the country!".

I know.... I thought but just smiled at them and nodded my head like I don't know them.

Then she turned to Damon and Rose with a smile, introducing me, "And This is my best friend, Rechel".

"We know her, Tina" Damon took a step closer, staring right into my eyes, and I don't know what the hell he wants but I know for sure, it is never a good thing.

"Wait?! How?!" Tina asks in confusion because she knows that I don't know any werewolf other then her.

Before he could say anything, we all heard a manly voice, "Congratulations to the beautiful couple!". And turned to look at the 3 men's walking towards Tina and Lucas.

My eyes falls on the one that's standing on the middle, and my heart skipped a beat with all the memories that are following back like a movie.

He is Devid Brown, the one and only kind soul in this whole group of bullies. I don't understand how he could be friends with these bullies, but if it were not for him, I could have actually given up anything when Damon put me through that hell. He is the man that I wished to have as a mate even though I know, I will never have someone like him. A perfect prince charming.

He walks up to hug and congradulate both Tina and Lucas, followed by other two monsters. They both are just like Damon or each one of them are worse in their own way. I hate everyone of them.

"Little girl, is that you?" My eyes widen as he stared into my eyes with a smile. I was so surprised that he could still remember me. He raised his hand to pat my head like use to do and said with a smile "I missed you".

My eyes widen, my face turns red in shyness, and my heart skips a beat this time as I stared into my soft eyes.

He missed me! Devid fucking missed me! God!

"Do you want to die, Devid?" Damon's voice brought me back to reality and instantly I shut my mouth. I was about to thank him and tell I did miss him too.

We both turned to look at Damon at the same time, because none of them heard what he said other then us.

Devid took a step back, saying "Clam down, I didn't do anything", taking back his hand on that instant like he surrendered. Then he went to talk to Tina and Lucas, joining others. He never tried to step up to help me because he knew if he ever tried to do anything, things will only get bed because of Damon's personality.

Damon turned to look at me and whispered in my ear, "Don't you remember the rule, Rechel, hmm? 'Never let a man touch you'".

My eyes lowers as I nodded my head in fear, not wanting to make him even more angry.

He was about to say something but stopped when Tina asked, "How you guys know each other?".

"She is from my pack," Damon said dryly, looking at me. I gulped in fear and nodded my head, trying to make Tina believe. She was even more confused and asked "B... but Rechel doesn't have a pack",

"She does," Damon replied, turning to look at me so I could explain everything. I sighed and nodded my head, saying, "I ran away from his pack when I was younger!".

Tina's face instantly went pale as she was scared for me, I didn't want to hurt her, so I forced a smile and replied, "You don't have to worry. He doesn't want to give any of those punishments as long as I go back to the pack and apologize for running away!".

Then she turned to look at Damon, who nodded his head at her and then back at me. I reassured her with a smile because I don't want her to get in trouble because of me,

She let out a sigh of relief and said, "Please take care of my friend; she is a nice girl, and will never commit the same mistake again!".

He nodded his head like he is helping but only I know his real side.
