Chapter 4 Not ready

" That was what she said. The look on her face yesterday and Earlier on proves it. Babe, did something happen between you and that girl?" She asked. " You mean Angelina?" He raised a brow. " Yes"

" Nothing" Zach said after hesitating. He wouldn't dare tell her what happened between them. " Oh okay. I thought something happened" She sat upright.

Zach dialed a Number and put the phone on his left ear.

" Get the car ready" He disconnected the call and looked at Lara. " Let's go" He smiled at her. He stood up and helped her up and they left the sitting room holding hands.

" Your flight leaves in an hour. When are you returning home?" He asked her while they were sitting in the car on their way to the airport. " I have no idea" She sighed. She rested her head on his shoulders.

" Babe, what about our discussion last time?" Zach asked her Running his fingers in her Smooth black hair. " About having a baby?" She asked. " Yes, that" He smiled. " I already told you I'm not ready for that" She sighed again.

" But babe..." She interrupted him. " My decision is final. And besides, I'm the one to nurse the pregnancy for nine months" She rolled her eyes.

" I know but... You don't want us to get married now, you said it will affect your career . I suggested we have a baby at least but you said no"

" Babe, let's wait for the right time. Don't rush me" Zach rested his head backward and closed his eyes. None of them say a word to each other again.

They arrived at the airport, Lara kissed him goodbye and boarded her flight. Zach left for the company after the plane took off.

" Girl, what do you think you are doing?" Nicky Said to Angelina When they were alone in the kitchen. " Like what?" Angelina asked taking a bite off the Apple in her hand. " What you did back there." Nicky pointed to the door.

" Babe, I was jealous. Put yourself in my shoes" Angelina rolled her eyes. " He's not even your boyfriend" She gasped. " But he's the father of my baby" Angelina pointed to her Tummy. " Stop being Funny. Don't you have the slightest idea what would have happened back there?" Nicky shook her head.

" Nicky, stop exaggerating. Zach won't even send me out of the house, I'm carrying his child and I'll become his Wife someday" She smiled.

" Are you kidding me?" Nicky scoffed. " You know what? Just pass me the Spatula" Nicky sighed. " Here" Angelina gave her the spatula.

" But seriously, I felt like grabbing her hair back then. How could she home Zach's hand that way?" Angelina clicked her tongue. " It's none of your Business"

" Of course it's My business. He's the Father of my child" She said and Nicky shook her head. " Here we go again. Can't you just stop saying that? What if the other girls heard you?"

" I've already told you that I don't care" She opened the fridge and brought out a cup of Vanilla ice cream. " What are you doing?" Nicky was surprised.

" I'm craving for ice cream" She unsealed the lid. " Are you kidding me? This is Zach's favorite and No one touch it. You know more than I" Nicky said and Angelina giggled. " His child wants it. Can you just face what you are doing? You'll make me throw up" She rolled her eyes.

" Really? Angelina, just go" Nicky turned her back on her. " Where?" Angelina asked taking a bite off the ice cream. " To the room, the garden. I don't even know, just go" She said and Angelina left the kitchen Mumbling words grumpily.

She shut the door so hard that Zach had to cover his ears. She didn't knew he was already back. Zach turned around and his eyes fell on Angelina who was eating an ice cream.

" Isn't that..." He came down the stairs pointing at the cup of ice cream in her hand. " Vanilla ice cream" She helped him Complete his statement. " What are you doing with it?" He was surprised that a servant was eating out of his favorite ice cream.

" What do you think I am doing?" She asked him taking another bite. " What an audacity. Who told you to touch it?" He was getting mad. " I just feel like eating it" She Rolled her eyes.

" And you couldn't go out there to get yours?" He bit his lower lip Angrily. " I can't go out, I'm not feeling okay" She said and he chuckled.

" And you can't send any of your colleagues to go get for you? Wait, why am I even listening to you!" He shouted at her.

" Hey relax, You are making my heart beat fast" Angelina smiled. " What's that your name again?" Zach asked her and she Smiled at him. " It's Angelina" She giggled.

" Angelina, what do you want from me? I see you are the only one among my maid that's always trying to piss me off. Do you know My girlfriend has noticed that in you?" He asked and she rolled her eyes.

" Who cares about her" She scoffed. " Excuse me?" Zach raised a brow. " I said I don't care about her." She repeated with a slight change.

" Wait, so she was telling the truth" Zach Chuckled and Angelina sneered. " Maybe" She said Smiling.

" She told me you are in love with me. Do you think I'll have something to do with a servant? I rather go to the street and fall in love with a hobo than to downgrade myself and fall in love with you" He snapped at her.

Angelina was taken aback, she never expected those words from him even in her dreams. He dared compared her with a hobo? He snatched the cup of ice cream from her hand.
