Wanda had to get rid of all the ideas in her head right away if she didn't want to go crazy with the imagination in her head. Wanda immediately got out of bed, grabbed her suitcase and put it down. she took out his laptop and started to turn it on.
she typed quickly and randomly, even more randomly with the suitcase on the floor. That's how she is, if she thinks about vocabulary, her ideas will just float around and make her stagnate. Better to type fast, let things flow smoothly and then fix it by tomorrow morning.
Wanda didn't realize that she had been typing until twelve that night and hadn't eaten since noon, so she turned off her laptop and went down to the kitchen. She will cook something for dinner, which is too late. Maybe instant noodles and fried eggs is the right choice.
While boiling water, Wanda heard someone's footsteps. She immediately turned to find Bryant looking at him, a glass in his right hand.
"Dinner? Isn't it late?"she asked.
"Yeah, I just realized it was late and I was too hungry not to eat. You?"
"You," Bryant corrected.
"What are you doing?" Wanda followed Bryant's correction.
"Drinking," Bryant raised his glass. "By the way, the water's boiling."
Wanda was busy cooking her instant noodles, forgetting that Bryant had begun to sit in a high chair facing Wanda as she cooked. Wanda brought out a bowl of instant noodles and sat down across from Bryant, "Do you want one?"
"Do you want one?"Bryant repeated. "No, it's too late to eat. Please just eat."
"Not back in the room?"asked Wanda as she blew on the noodles with her fork.
"Not yet," Bryant answered soberly, then drank a glass of water until it was empty.
"Then I'll eat first."Please,"Even though he said these words, Bryant's eyes could not be taken away from Wanda, who seemed to be enjoying her food. Bryant didn't realize that he had swallowed and also imagined the taste of the noodles in his mouth.
"I want to add to our terms before the final signature,"Bryant said in between silences.
"I will listen first, if you agree, you can add it," Wanda said. She looked at Bryant seriously.
"Every meal, please cook two portions for me as well. Then tie my tie every morning," Bryant said lightly, but his eyes looked at Wanda as if to say that Wanda would have to agree.
"To eat, only when I eat," Wanda explained quickly. She was grateful to be able to think quickly, perhaps influenced by the fact that food was already entering his body to be processed.
"Of course."

The next morning Wanda thought she would not see Bryant again. But in fact, Bryant was still at home- sitting on the sofa facing the balcony with a newspaper in his hands. Bryant noticed Wanda's arrival and smiled.
"Just woke up?"
"No,"Wanda replied quickly. Her pride might be crushed if Bryant found out he had just woken up this afternoon. In fact, he had woken up this afternoon after typing quite a long script. "Not going to work?"
"No," Bryant folded the newspaper, then looked at Wanda and motioned for Wanda to sit across from him, "take some time off so people don't suspect anything. I've been working for the first week after the wedding, so at least it's time to take some time off."
"Wise decision,"Wanda said, not knowing what to say in response.
"But..."
Wanda let her sentence hang, wondering if this stupid sentence should leave her lips. Actually, this stupid sentence was used to dispel her curiosity about the workaholic attitude that men in novels usually had. Was Bryant like that? Or even a male character who is lazy to work because the money will come by itself?
"What?"she asked. She raised both eyebrows.
"What is your profession?"
"What do you want me to do?"Bryant replied. He looked at Wanda with a faint smile, but full of temptation.
"Office?"
"Then you get the husband of the office owner."
This answer made Wanda squint. Bryant really is a confident man. That is, Bryant is a CEO who is playboy, stubborn, and maybe a little mischievous if he wants to be included in the novel.
"What about you? What do you do?"he asked. He looked Wanda right in the eye. "Your vacation's not over yet?"
"I'm not on vacation," Wanda replied curtly.
"Then you haven't worked yet?" Bryant raised his eyebrows. Bryant smiled gleefully inside because he was one hundred percent sure his guess was right, judging by Wanda's discomfort at discussing work.
"Or do you have some personal business?" Bryant asked casually. "It's okay if it's true that you don't work..."
"I work,"Wanda narrowed her eyes and looked at Bryant who was trying to humiliate her.
"Whether you have a job or not, you can't tell by how often you go to the office. Surely you understand, today's jobs don't require going to the office, you can work at home with a laptop."
"And you are one of them?"asked Bryant with a smile.
"What?" Wanda frowned, annoyed.
"People nowadays? Who has a job these days?"
Wanda took a shaky breath. "Mo-de-ren job!"
"OK. OK, OK,"Bryant laughed,"Yes, modern. Although you said it was modern."
"Tiring," Wanda protested. Wanda rolled her eyes as she looked at Bryant, hands on her hips, who was beginning to find a comfortable position on the sofa.
"Nobody told you to just stand there," Bryant teased. He knew what Wanda meant. Not tired of standing, but tired of arguing with him. But teasing Wanda was already starting to feel good to hdd. Wanda was too serious, so she never answered his jokes with other jokes.
"The Bryant."
Someone called Bryant, so Wanda quickly told Bryant, "Someone called you. Who was it?" Wanda didn't dare turn in the direction of the sound.
"Oh, that mother I told you about yesterday. Her name is Mrs. Lastri," Bryant explained casually as he stood up.
Wanda followed in Bryant's footsteps. "Who's helping clean up?"When Bryant only nodded in response, Wanda asked again, "You didn't answer the call?"
"Yes?" Bryant answered rather loudly, intending to be heard downstairs.
"Mom, are you going up? Do you want to get the laundry? Do you want the sheets cleaned too, Den?" asked Mrs. Lastri from downstairs. She didn't dare go upstairs without permission because Bryant had asked him not to clean upstairs, just to do the laundry.
"Wait a minute, my clothes are still in the room. Where am I supposed to put them?" whispered Wanda. Wanda grabbed Bryant's arm and stopped her from going any further. She was starting to panic herdeld, remembering Bryant's words, who had considered Lastri's mother a member of his own family.
"Just a minute, Mom,"Bryant called again.
"Take your clothes to the bathroom in my room," Bryant replied firmly as he walked toward his room.
Wanda quickly followed Bryant's advice. She brought his nightgown to Bryant's room, but instead found Bryant in the middle of removing the sheets and blankets from her bed and then soaking them in water.
"Why wet?" asked Wanda curiously. She went into the room she recognized as the bathroom anyway and put her clothes in the dirty hamper.
Bryant chuckled, "No newlyweds have their sheets clean and dry in the morning.
At that moment, Wanda's cheeks turned red.
"Why are your cheeks red? Let's get out of the room so Mom can get the dirty clothes," Bryant asked from the door. Wanda immediately followed Bryant back into the living room and sat across from the man. But Bryant sat down next to him and pulled Wanda into his lap.
"Yes, ma'am, you can go on up. The dirty clothes are in the usual basket."
"Yes, Den!" The old voice sounded excited, but when his footsteps landed on the same floor as Bryant and Wanda, the wrinkled lips gave a small yelp.
"Gosh, Den! It's noon and he's still stuck like this."
"Newlyweds, Mom," Bryant said with that shameless smile. Unlike Wanda, who immediately hid her face and wanted to get off Bryant's lap.
"Mom, get the basket first,"Lastri said quickly, shaking her head, but her wrinkled lips still showed a cheerful smile.
"Why the heck? It's embarrassing," Wanda protested as she struggled to keep Bryant from letting go. Bryant was still wrapped tightly around her waist.
"Newlyweds are real shy, aren't they, Mom?" Bryant asked Lastri, who had returned with a basket.
"Yes."
"This is my wife, Mom. Just call me Wanda," Bryant said quickly as he introduced Wanda.
Wanda couldn't help but raise her face and thicken it so she wouldn't be embarrassed, "Wanda, Mom."
"What a beautiful woman," Lastri said sincerely, hugging the basket strapped to her waist. Wanda watched Lastri longer and found a face full of motherly and friendly aura. No wonder annoying men like Bryant seem to melt.
"Yes, please. If you're not beautiful, don't get married."
"Quiet, why did Aden say that?" Lastri said as she waved her hand at Bryant.
"Yes, please, wild..." Bryant's words were stopped as Wanda pinched Bryant's waist. Wanda was annoyed because Bryant kept bad-mouthing her in front of Lastri.
"That's right! Fierce. Bryant just pinched in front of Mom!" Bryant pointed at Wanda, then his eyes turned to Lastri as if asking for help.
"She's flirty, Mom."
"You two are perfect. It will last, Aden. Hurry up and have a baby, I'll help take care of it later." After saying this sentence. Lastri went downstairs, not realizing that she had put the couple in an awkward position.
"You do!"
"Why? Pray for it to last and have children. Forever, you already know it won't take long," Bryant said, looking at Wanda who was above him.
"What about the baby?"
"In your dreams," Wanda snapped. She grunted as he pushed Bryant away. "Let go, don't touch it."
"If you hold it like that, you won't get pregnant right away,"Bryant let go of Wanda as he shook his head at Wanda's behavior.
"It's still not safe, a lot of young people who are pregnant just look at their cell phones," Wanda said ambiguously. She walked away from Bryant, intending to go downstairs and have breakfast.
"About watching porn videos and then practicing?" Bryant followed in Wanda's footsteps.
"No. She got pregnant online because she saw her idol's broken bread. So don't touch me, the danger level is higher,"Wanda continued to walk quickly, hiding her amusement. She was sure that a less modern man like Bryant would not understand.
"Hey! What do you mean? I don't get it! Getting pregnant online? Is that the same as a job these days?"
Well, it is!
