"How was your first day at Señorito, son?" Mom asked me while we were having dinner. I swallowed what I was eating and then I drank water. I want Dad to tell them I don't want to come back tomorrow! But for sure they will be surprised if I do that.

I smiled to let them know everything was okay and then I told my story. "It's okay, Mom. I just follow Señorito and his friends all day and if they want to order something, they tell me."

"It's good that they're nice to you, kid." If only you knew, 'Mom.

Kind? I feel like they don't know the word kind! Especially that girl clinging to Señorito who looks like his girlfriend, Miss Andi. "Yeah, I met her the other day at the falls," he told me meaningfully and then he grinned.

"Do you agree with that, Selena?" he asked me more. I backed away from where I was standing and didn't know what to say. I couldn't think of anything else but to walk out when I felt Marco gently hold my arm.

I looked at him. He was just looking at me, just like Señorito, I couldn't read any emotion on his face and he also seemed to feel that I was uncomfortable. I didn't even tell him that Señorito and I met at the waterfall!

He might also wonder why there is suddenly another man at the waterfall and what else he can ask me! I'm not used to lying yet and maybe I can tell him what happened! That Señorito has seen something in me that he shouldn't!

"You alright?" Marco asked me in a whisper. I told you, when it comes to me, I'm a bit over protective.

I just nodded and smiled. He was about to say something based on the way he opened his mouth but he was stopped when the Señyora spoke again.

"Now you're going to start as Kenzo's assistant. I hope it's all right with you, Selena?" I don't have a choice, do I? I just nodded even though I felt like I was going to ruin it.

"Don't worry and your job will be easy, Hija, just follow my son and you know that he is not that familiar with the Hacienda."

Señyora, it looks like he won't disappear because Señorito is already big, I answered in my mind.
