Emma was tired sitting at home and knew that she didn't have any food left, so she decided to do some grocery shopping. The email for confirmation was supposed to come in a week, either accept or reject.

So, this whole week she was totally available. She wore a comfy t-shirt with jeans and matched it with white joggers and headed towards the mall, to buy some daily necessities. Upon reaching the mall, she was busy buying the groceries, when a lady bumped into her. Emma immediately apologized, without looking up.

She was busy picking up the stuff that she dropped and once she was done, she looked up at the face to find it awfully familiar. Emma recognized the lady in the first glance, and so did the lady.

"You...?" Said Emma while pointing her index finger towards the lady, totally in shock.

"Aren't you that mysterious girl from yesterday?" Asked the old lady.

"Mysterious? How am I mysterious? It's clearly you, who has some problem with the brain. It was a just a cup of coffee, and you looked as in you'll kill that poor soul." Said Emma.

"Girl, you truly have guts to talk to me like this. If it were anyone else in place of you, then they wouldn't be alive to tell the tale." Said the old lady, which unknowingly sent goosebumps to Emma.

Emma looked at the lady, shock visible on her face. She then asked, "What do you mean?"

"Girl, not many people dare to mess with me, and those who do have to pay the price." Said the lady casually.

"But, what did I do?"

"You helped me in the restaurant, so I think quite highly about you. Here is the thing, my son was supposed to come and accompany me for some shopping, but he isn't here. By the time, he comes, would you like to have a cup of coffee with me?" Asked the lady.

Emma thought for a while, she didn't know why, but she kind of liked the old lady, despite her arrogant and deadly attitude. So, she said yes and headed towards the food court to dine with the lady.

They both settled themselves on the seat and the old lady ordered for black coffee, while Emma ordered for Espresso. Their orders arrived shortly and they both started chatting with each other.

"So, girl, what is your name? Tell me something about yourself." Asked the old lady.

"Oh, I am sorry I forgot to introduce myself. I am Emma Watson. I have recently shifted here and now on a hunt to find a job." Told Emma.

"Oh, that's great, and you have a beautiful name, Emma. My name is Stella. You can call me aunt Stella."

"Sure, aunt Stella." Said Emma.

They both chatted for a while, when Emma said to the old lady, "I need to use the washroom." And excused herself.

In the meantime Nick came to the location where they were sitting and complained, "Mom, I have been calling you for ages. What are you doing here? And who was the lady talking to you?"

"Oh her, she was a nice, sweet kid. Come take a seat. Let's wait for her to come back, and then we can leave." Said Stella.

Nick didn't want to sit, but knowing his mom's temper, he sat obediently and they both patiently waited for Emma to come back. While Emma was walking towards the washroom, a kid suddenly came running and hit himself with Emma.

Emma, with the impact of it, was pushed back, and she got hit with the door at her back and her shirt got ripped. The kid's mother came immediately and apologized to Emma.

"I am truly sorry. My son is really troublesome." While she was talking, her eyes landed on Emma's ripped shirt and immediately gave a bag to Emma.

"Here, take this. This contains new cloths. Your cloths got tore because of my son. You can wear this shirt." Said the lady and Emma having no other choice accepted the shirt and entered inside the ladies' washroom.

She changed into the shirt and then came out and headed towards the place, where she left Stella. She reached the table, where they were sitting, but to her, bad luck there was no one, and so she also left.

She was walking through the mall, when she saw a thief who stole a lady's purse, and now she was shouting for help. Emma forgot everything, and started running after the thief. All the security guards also came, and they were also running after the thief.

When Emma caught hold of him, and he gave Emma a kick. But, Emma was fast enough to dodge it, and before he could escape again she held him by his hands and made him sit on his knees, with his hands on his back.

The security also came, and the purse was returned back to its owner, while Emma then walked away. Everyone there was praising her bravery. In all that happened, she didn't realize an intense gaze gawking at her the whole time.

While a pair of cold eyes, with no emotions, witnessed the entire scene. Nick saw everything and knew that Emma is not someone, whose week. While looking at the scene, he recognized her as the same girl whom he saved in the bar.

He couldn't stop himself and started following her. While Emma was busy buying her daily necessities and paid the bill, after she had all the items needed.

While Nick's gaze stayed glued on her, until the time she left the mall. He found her quite interesting, but before he could follow her, his mom called him and both mother son, spent their entire day in the mall, shopping.

Emma returned back home, all tired and exhausted from all the shopping, and threw herself on the couch. When she received a signal from her team.

She looked through the signal and found that she has been called in the base for once more.

'Why God? Why? They have called me again, probably to scold me for once more.' said Emma to herself and sighed.

'I haven't even received any call or confirmation email from Wesley enterprise. What on earth will I answer to all those troublesome officials.'

Emma was talking to herself and was in no mood to go. But, duty calls. She picked up her lazy body and immediately got ready for the meeting in the base.

Emma chose a gray mini skirt that had linings, with a black shirt and matched it with a gray long court matching her skirt. She left her hair open and picked up a black purse and wore her black court shoes, giving her an elegant look.

She looked at herself in the mirror and after feeling satisfied with the way she looked. She headed towards the door, where a car was waiting for her.

She sat inside the car and headed towards the base with a confident look on her face. It was only her, who knew deep down how afraid she was. But, she never let her thoughts come on her face and showed herself confident as ever. No matter what happens, she is not someone who'll give up or get scared, so she was ready to take, what's coming on her way.

On the other side,

Nick went back home with his mom just to drop her. Upon reaching the door, Stella asked him to accompany her inside. But, Nick denied and left. He came back to one of his clubs and entered inside his office.

Nick called Jack in his office and said to him, "Give me the details for tomorrow. We are going to eliminate all the threats tomorrow once and for all."

"Sir, we have everything prepared for tomorrow. Don't worry, everything will go according to the plan." Informed Jack and Nick dismissed him.

After a few minutes, Nick also joined his best friend Maverick in the party going in his club, with all the girls around. Although Nick is not into such stuff, but he doesn't mind enjoying some good show.

The girls were dancing in front of him, showing him their hips and body curves. They were trying their best to lure the beast in their hold, but Nick, who looked as if he's enjoying all this. But, in reality, his thoughts would only roam around the girl from the mall.

"What's up man?" Asked Maverick, seeing him lost in his thoughts.

Nick was about to say something, but stopped half way and shrug his shoulders, "Nothing." Replied Nick.

Maverick understood that something was bothering him, but didn't investigate it further. He wants to wait for him, to come and tell him voluntarily because mafia king would never say a word if he doesn't want to.

They both enjoyed themselves for a while, before Maverick hooked up, with a blonde and Nick returned back to his home. Tomorrow, a new day with new journey and new adventures. What destiny awaits for both Nick and Emma?

Nick, with a thousand thoughts running in his mind, fell in his bed and tried to sleep. But, something felt off. It felt as if, something was bothering him. He kept tossing around in the bed, but sleep didn't even seem any close to him.

He didn't know why, but he felt some uneasiness in his heart. Something about today, kept bothering him.
