She stood transfixed as she stared back at Ji-hoon who focused more on the papers before him.

"Wh..what did you say?" She asked, clenching her fists beside her as she tried calming herself.

He ignored her and she totally lost it.

"I'm talking to you goddamnit! What did you say?" She hit her hand on his desk.

He wasn't startled by her outburst, but simply raised his head to look at her..

"Are you deaf or are you just stupid?". He asked.

She wanted to talk but the question was unexpected and it left her completely speechless with her mouth wide open.

"Stupid....I see..." He murmured as though he got his answer.

"You...you..." She bit on her lower lip to restrain herself from screaming at him.

"I..am...not.. stupid and i..am.. definitely..not...weak". She gritted her teeth.

"But you ARE weak". He said with scorn.

"You don't know me". She muttered with a low-key growl.

"I think I do...if it's not the girl who depends on pills and a little inhaler for her dear life. The pathetic sick daughter of Mr Kim". He scoffed, sizing her up with his eyes.

Her eyes stung badly as she stared at him with burning hatred while she felt tears piling up in her eyes.

"You're just a total jerk!" She yelled at him and turned to leave.

It was so hard fighting back the tears that were already trickling down her face.

"Ji-hoon, do you have the records of..."

Dong Hyun, his cousin walked into the office and asked but was interrupted as Soo Min bumped into him while she was in a hurry to leave the office.

"I'm..so..sorry.." Her voice cracked and she lowered her head, hiding her face which had turned red because of her tears.

"Are you alright?" Dong Hyun asked, concerned.

"I...I..I'm fine". She stuttered and tried to leave.

"Wait..". He grabbed her hand and turned her around to face him.

He sighed deeply when he saw her state, then turned to look at his cousin whose attention was on his desk.

"Here..."

He took out his dark shades and wore her, covering her red, teary eyes.

"You don't want to draw attention to yourself..." He said.

She adjusted the shades and dashed out of the office.

He sighed again, hands in pockets and turned to face his cousin.

"What have you done this time Ji-hoon?".

"What do you want?" Ji-hoon asked without looking up.

"I came for the records but why did you..."

"Here..."

Ji-hoon cut him short, pushing a file towards him.

"Those are the records, you may leave now".

Dong Hyun took the file, scan through it with his eyes and hesitated before leaving the office.

At a restaurant...

"C'mon Soo Minahh, this is not you...you can't let what that jerk said get to you...you're stronger than you think...". Twinkle said, rubbing my shoulder.

"Wait till I lay my hands on that arrogant tycoon, I'll twist and crush and destroy him". Hyun Woo said gritting his teeth in anger while he demonstrated how he would twist and crush.

I watched him, amused.

"Bluff all you want, it won't change the fact that he's engaged to Mi Young and you'll never have her". Twinkle mocked him.

"I am not giving up on her, I can't give her up...I'll fight for my love". He said to her, with a determined look.

"Aishh! Look at you". Twinkle twisted his ear.

"Is that really what you should be saying right now? Our Soo Minahh is sad and you're not concerned".

"Ow...ow..ow..". He tapped on her hand to let go of his ear.

"Who said I'm not concerned?" He pouted.

"That's why I said I'll crush that bastard...aigoo! My dear Mi Young, I'm sure he charmed her...she...she's under his spell...how could she...".

"Aishhh!". Twinkle began to hit him.

"It's still all about her..you can never have her."

"Stop hitting him". I chuckled.

"Wait lemme beat Mi Young outta this dunderhead". Twinkle said and continued hitting him.

"Wait...wait...wait..." Hyun Woo tried stopping her.

"I won't stop until you develop a brain...I don't know how... even if it's magically... develop some brain and have some sense or else...I'll beat the crap outta you until you forget even your name".

"Fine...fine". He raised his hands up in defeat.

"Have you magically developed a brain?" She asked him, showing her already clenched fist, ready to strike again.

He nodded his head quickly.

"Have you given up on Mi Young?"

He nodded again.

"Good". She murmured.

I sighed deeply...

These two surely know how to ease me of stress or worries.

I could never be bored or sad whenever I was with them either.

We continued eating in silence until an advert appeared on the TV screens in the eatery.

Sunshine glam's makeup company.

As expected, Mi Young was one of their top models and she was on the big screen, applying a lip gloss on her lips and at the same time showcasing her glittery eyeshadow makeup.

She looked so stunning on the huge screen.

I noticed many people pause what they were doing to stare.

I couldn't be more proud to have such a beautiful sister.

"Mi Youngiee!!!" Hyun Woo suddenly screamed and stood up, pointing towards the TV.

"Ha.. that's my Mi Youngiee... that's my wife!!" He bursted out with a huge smile on his face.

Everyone turned to our direction and I felt like I should stuff my face in my plate of Jjajangmyeon.

His smile suddenly faded away when his eyes landed on Twinkle's.

I could literally see steam coming out of her ears.

She balled up her fist and was breathing heavily.

Without thinking twice, he took off..

"Yah!!! Hyun Woo! Get back here!" She pulled off one of her shoes and went after him.

"I knew you could never have a brain!!! I'll beat some brain into you!!!".

I used my hand to cover my face, while I quietly stood up and followed them, avoiding most people's gaze.

The kind of friends I have....

I answered my cellphone and kept my eyes fixed on the target.

"I found her Boss".

"Is she alone?"

"Not yet..." I replied to the caller at the other end.

"She just left the restaurant with two other people, I'm watching from across".

"Watch her every move and when you get the chance...seize her!".

"Yes Boss!".

"Don't fail me and prove yourself useful...I don't deal with useless garbages...you know how I get rid of garbages right?"

I took a deep breath and finally let it out.

"Yes Boss!"

"Good! Bring her to me and I'll reward you".

"Yes Boss!"

The call was disconnected and I continued watching her.

It would be difficult to take her in broad daylight when people are watching.

And I need to keep my distance if I don't want to get noticed.

It'll be better to attack at night.

"Welcome unnie". I waved as I noticed Mi Young come in with Chief Bang.

"Hi, Mr Bang".

"Hey princess, looking stunning as always". Chief Bang said and I blushed.

"Oh c'mon". I rolled my eyes.

Not me looking like a Minnie mouse in my pyjamas and munching down some popcorn while I was watching a movie.

"Mom and dad back yet?" Mi Young asked.

"No". I adjusted my sitting position on the couch and focused on the television.

"Did you get the..." She stopped talking abruptly, then signalled chief Bang to leave.

"How was your interview?" She asked when he left.

"Nothing to write home about". I rolled my eyes and threw some popcorn in my mouth.

"I'm guessing it didn't go well". She said and sank into a cushion, kicking her heels off.

"It didn't".

"Where did you go?" She asked, curious.

"Park's Enterprise". I replied nonchalantly.

"So, you went for an interview and...wait! Park's Enterprise?!".

I nodded.

"You went to look for a job at Park's Enterprise? Forget about that...who was your interviewer?".

"Your dear fiance". I said, rolling my eyes.

"Ji-hoon didn't give you a job? Why? And why did you apply for a job at Park's Enterprise? Didn't you think that our parents will find out?".

"Which should I answer first?".

She rolled her eyes.

"I'm not even in the mood for this, I'm so tired. We'll talk about this tomorrow". She stood up.

"Maidservant Cha!" She called out.

"Yes, my lady". Our maid appeared almost immediately.

"Pick up my bags and shoes and take them up to my room...plus I need my hot bath ready in five minutes".

"Yes my lady".

Mi Young dragged herself upstairs.

"I'll be visiting Ji-hoon and his family tommorow by the way...I was invited to dinner by his mom". She yelled out.

"Whatever" I rolled my eyes.

Park Ji-hoon I'll surely get back at you...you obnoxious, self-indulgent brat!!
