Chapter 5.

I checked my wristwatch and discovered that it was quarter pass 5, I had to be there early, I had to go now.

I started walking to and fro until the Uber driver arrived. Thank goodness, he stepped on it and as we started going, he stopped and stared at me from his driver's mirror.

Oh no, I should have thought twice about this, am Young, the most popular billionaire in California, there is no way he would not recognize me and start talking.

I just kept my cool to avoid too many questions and autograph signing. I would really make that person get me a new ride, it was not my business whether he was broke or not.

He chuckles and turns to me while, as usual, I pretended to be nice and all even though I was not really a nice and cool lad.

"It is you, Mr. Young, right".

I chuckled awkwardly, "Yay, it's me, would you please step on it, I have somewhere important to be", I uttered?

He smiles and pulls over, locking the doors in. S**t, I am screwed, I started making contacts with my lawyers to sue the Uber driver as he started forming some activities at his steering wheel.

Suddenly, his mood changed, and he tilts towards me.

"Do you remembered the mall you and your friends bought a few months ago", he said boldly, staring at me while my fingers were busy typing S.O.S to my lawyers.

I flinched at what he said, "I don't actually remember", I replied.

He smiled and muttered, "Do you, or you don't".

I shuddered and managed to reply to him, "I don't", I just remembered I had a gun with me, silly me, thanks to Alvarez's advice, I was able to guarantee my safety from this hostage situation.

I was already up and ready to kill the poor bastard, if only he knew I was armed, I would be screwed.

Not only that, but I could not imagine how I was easily threatened by an ordinary Uber driver, damn, I feel so ashamed right now.

"Just answer me and I will make things quick".

What does he mean by make things quick, alright I see what he is doing here, he wants to make me feel mimicked and scared but f**k that, aren't f**king scared?

I remained mute staring back at him, and he laughed, "I see because you are rich, you think you own the world huh, let me tell you something", he lunged for me with his gun.

I was shocked and practically peeing myself, I was at a gun point, this would not have happened if I had just listened to Alvarez, who advised me to hire a bodyguard.

S**t, is this how I am going to die, a day to my date night. To make things worst, I could not explain to him what he meant by buying a mall.

Maybe it would have been one of those contracts I signed or one of those million dollar estate mortgage businesses, they were many that I could not even remember.

"Please, what do you mean", I said with fear written all over my eyes.

He chuckles, "Wow, let me remind you", he adjusts his position, "Your company bought my family mall without our notice and turned it into a hotel, what kind of person does that", he said.

I just remembered when my company told me about acquiring a mall few months ago, they said it was for a project and I donated heavily to it.

My consciousness started judging me, after making billions, I was going to die in the hands of just an Uber driver. A few minutes ago I had adrenaline rushing through my veins as I was about to kill him, but hearing what I had done to his poor family, I merely felt pity for him because it's life, sometimes you win while some times you don't.

"Am sorry for that, so how much should I pay you to forget this ever happening, what is your compensation fee", I tried buying him off, but he just kept staring at me like a hungry dog.

He points his gun at me with a serious look, "Did I say I needed your money".

I ignored him and kept on naming prices, ranging into billions, and that was when he laughed.

"You thought I was interested in your bloody money, am sorry but I am not f**king interested, Because of you, my father is in the hospital.

I had to take this job to hunt you down and make you pay but luckily enough, with in two days in this job, I was able to get you, now you will suffer what I suffered".

He holds his trigger and points it on my forehead. So is this how I am going to die, like a dog, a rich billionaire with no benefits to society, at the edge of death I kept dreaming of Ela, that was when I knew that there was God.

After all I had done, I could not even protect myself, even though I was holding a loaded pistol.

I thought of life and saw my memory flash before my eyes. As I checked my phone I saw messages from my lawyers who I told to call the cops and sue the Uber company.

What they said to me was, "Remain calm and corporate", what, I am at the point of my death here and I am seeing remain calm and corporate, I can't remain calm and corporate when I am going to die soon.

I started asking for mercy and promising to leave my life of greed and arrogant behavior if he saves me.

I just realized that I was not a member of any church and that if I should die, my family would lavishly spend my hard earned cash.

Who would fix my Lamborghini, not now on my big date, but I summoned courage and looked him in the eyes.

I started reading poems from my I read while in school that sounded like sad melody.

"I know you are mad, and that you probably want me dead, I know I have wronged others, but please show me mercy", I uttered with tears running down my eyes.

He stared at me, and it was like he had no emotions, his hands were still held, but this time it was like I made him even madder than he was earlier.

He shoved it to my forehead, pushing me back.

"Please, alright, I would offer you a deal, I will give you my land and also give you back your property, I would also pay you in advance and take care of your family", I stammered as I suddenly heard a gunshot blazing through my ear.

It was finally over for me, I was killed and shut like a dog, at least I had to die the richest man number one and I made a lot of money, but I also lost my Ela and my family.

I could only imagine what they would pass through after my passing, well, I did not die a virgin, am still glad I managed to have sex with my second girl, Rita . I will always love you my love.

I said with my eyes slowly closing as I dropped on my seat.
