Chapter 4 What! She's a virgin

They walked out of the interview hall and the guy who was number thirteen turned to Gladys.

"Hey, that was a good show in there." He teased seeming to remember her words.

"Let's see if you get employed first." Naomi fired and he smirked walking away.

"I'll be going to the restroom." Gladys excused politely.

"Oh, let me tag along in case..." Naomi shrugged, her expression saying if Gladys want to cry.

"Oh, you think I'm that weak?" Gladys rhetorically asked laughing a bit.

"I'd say you're fairly weird," Naomi told her and Gladys giggled.

"I've heard that multiple times already you know," Gladys spoke as they walk away from the hallway and to the restroom.

"Sorry if it's offensive." Naomi apologized.

"It's okay. I'm used to being a weirdo and that naive still bitchy lady wherever I go." She winked at Naomi.

"Just like I am, bitchy vibes," Naomi added and they both laugh walking inside the restroom.

Gladys walked inside the toilet and shut the door behind her as she eased herself and there comes her menstrual cramps making her groan softly.

"Are you okay?" Naomi who must have heard her asked.

"Yeah," Gladys muttered flushing and walking out of the toilet.

"It's just menstrual cramps." She says softly.

"Cramps? Not like you're a virgin." Naomi said looking at her as she walked to the faucet.

"Yeah. Yes, I'm." Gladys blurted out as Caden stopped in his tracks hearing the lady's conversation.

He didn't mean to listen to their discussions, but what he just heard was quite surprising.

He was on his way to the male restroom but hearing their conversations made him stop and he peep and he saw Gladys.

The lady who he saw on his way to the company and the one who he had interviewed.

He just heard her say she is a virgin!

"I'm a virgin," Gladys added and Naomi look just as surprised as Caden was, standing beside the restroom.

She was too beautiful to be a virgin and that tempted him to look down at her beautiful slim leg and he felt himself aroused.

"Shit." He cussed walking away.

"Come on. Don't you have a boyfriend? I mean... Haven't you dated before?" Naomi threw the questions at her.

"Is it really bad being a virgin?" Gladys asked with a scowl

"No, it's not. Just, you're in your twenties and this is the twenty-third century and it's really hard and rare to see a lady as beautiful as you're been a virgin." Naomi stated.

"That's I'm rare. I can use it to my advantage someday, you dare guess." She remarked.

"Not all guys love virgin ladies." Naomi snapped

"Still it's our pride, no good guys will want to sleep with a lady who has had sex with almost every guy out there--"

"Okay stop preaching to me the virgin-less girl." Naomi interrupted and Gladys chuckled.

"It's nice meeting you." Gladys decided to say.

"Would be nicer if we get employed together." Naomi winked and Gladys agreed.

Her subconscious came in taunting her that even if fifteen employees were needed, she would not even be part of the least of them and that was her imperfections.

Letting her nonsupportive subconscious mind judge her.

She tried hard to seem cool and to prevent Naomi from noticing her flaws as they walk out of the restroom still chatting.

It was great having to chat sincerely with someone and at least Gladys enjoyed the hours she spent in the company.

She finally bade Naomi who was picked up by her mum in a Camry car.

Before they drove off, Naomi introduced Gladys to her mum and Gladys greeted Naomi's mum whom she recognized to be Mrs Gabriels, a popular anchorwoman and Gladys came to like her personality in person.

Caden walked into his office, after making up his mind that there's nothing really special about Gladys and he won't have her to control him.

Besides he doesn't even believe truly she was a virgin because truth be told Gladys is dazzling beautiful and wonderfully created with big blue eyes and small pink lips and her black long hair which was packed in a ponytail with her funny suit dress and the legs of hers.

"Calm down Caden," Caden muttered to himself sighing.

"Calm down." He added.

One policy of his was never to date a lady below his class because of his father's disapproval and never to even dare to date his employees.

And who the fuck says he is employing her!

She has nothing special to offer even if he partially employs her, she'd just be a ruin to the company.

His mind always tackles his decisions as it reminded him of Gladys's leg and he wonders what she has inside that skirt of hers.

"Sir." Mr Alfred, who was Caden's manager walked in after knocking several times.

"Sir." He called again and Caden snapped back to reality.

"Oh. When did you enter?" He asked a bit startled.

"I knocked thrice you didn't---"

"Why didn't you continue knocking?" He cut in rudely and Mr Alfred apologized.

"What's it?" He asks.

"Here are the results the head of the employee management team and vice chairman drafted out." Mr. Alfred says dropping the printed paper result on Caden's desk.

"The top ten qualifiers have been chosen but we need your thorough checks and signature before alerting the selected candidates."

"I'll get back to you," Caden mentioned and Mr. Alfred bow a bit walking out of his office.

Caden picks up the papers and goes through the names of the selected candidates.

"She can't even meet up to the top ten." He scowled dropping the paper and picking up the other paper.

He searched for her name and she ended up at twelfth.

He hissed wondering why he was been so unusual as he drop the paper and turned to the computer on his desk.
