Chapter 5 Marry her

Alejandro was furiously pacing back and forth in his study room. Two women were standing away from him with their heads bowed. Afraid to utter a word. But the eldest daughter, Esmé cleared her throat, breaking the silence.

"Brother, I know this is bad, but you can't escape this," Esmé said hesitantly, Kelly, on the other hand, remained quiet.

"Take her as your mate...she could be expecting your child...the future heir," Kelly chimed in only to receive a death glare from Alejandro. He slammed his hand on the table, blaming himself for this.

"As the alpha, you can't sleep with a girl and walk away...please understand," Esme coaxed more sweetly. Alejandro was angered, he had come back from his business trip the same night and made a mistake.

"I didn't ask for that ridiculous party...this is your fault!" He yelled angrily, for years he had tried to refrain from involving herself in women. Because as the alpha, he was supposed to find his mate.

"You are important...we only did this...for your own good," Esme remarked, reminding him who he was. As the alpha of the pack, he led by example. The party was to welcome the alpha after so much time away.

"A crippled?" Alejandro asked in disbelief. Of all girls he could sleep with, it had to be a girl with a broken leg. He didn't remember seeing her at the party.

"The pack needs a leader...you've been away and neglected finding a mate...if that girl goes out there and makes this known..." Esme added more calmly. Alejandro was bothered.

"I, Alejandro, reject her as my wife or mate... I don't want her," he said more seriously. His voice was of authority, but the two women were determined.

"It's not that simple, okay...just do this...maybe stay with her for a year and see if she conceives," Esme said, shaking her hand at him. Kelly nodded, agreeing with her cousin.

"Yes cousin, just marry her for a year...you don't have to touch her..." Kelly added while elbowing Esme secretly. As an alpha of a well-known pack, Alejandro was a born leader, with a keen intellect and a strategic mind that made him a force to be reckoned with. His pack held tremendous respect for him, recognizing his natural-born abilities and fierce dedication to their well-being.

All in all, Alejandro Moondragon was a man of immense power, strength of character, and undeniable charisma. He embodied the best qualities of an alpha and commanded the respect and admiration of all those who knew him.

"She's a crippled girl like you said...worthless...but you can't deny the fact that you slept with her..." Esme said, jerking Alejandro back to his senses. He didn't know what to do. That girl was a stranger. He was a wolf, he sensed she was a low-class werewolf. Who knew where she came from?

"Fine..." saying that, Alejandro stormed out of the room. He needed to get some fresh air and clear his mind. That meant it, he had to go to the office. Who knew where his Beta was when he needed him the most.

"So that's done... I...wait, why is this woman calling me" Esme said with a frown. Kelly scooped closer to her and saw the person calling.

"Does she want us to tell her how the girl did?" Kelly asked, Esme made a thinking face and answered the phone.

"Talk to me," Esme answered, unfortunately what the woman on the other side said weakened her knees. Even Kelly was surprised to see her cousin looking so defeated.

"No, no, this can't be...you sent her...she did it" Esme protested as she paced back and forth. She felt hot as she fanned herself with her hand. Kelly followed her to hear what they were saying.

"What do you mean she didn't come here...there's a girl I..." Esme made a low yell but soon realized something. She disconnected the call and dropped on the couch.

"Cousin, what's going on?" Kelly asked desperately, but Esme didn't have the strength to utter a word. How did she make a mistake? The plan went smoothly, but it was the wrong girl.

"That girl...is not the one," Esme whispered and buried her face in her hands. Kelly gasped in shock.

"What? After what we did...is this a joke"

"Oh no...and we..." Esme didn't even want to finish the sentence. The plan was to trick their brother into sleeping with a girl of their choice and force him to marry her. Everything was ruined. Kelly bit her nails while she thought about what they would do next.

"W-what if we use this girl...she's useless and pathetic..." Kelly exclaimed as her eyes shone with excitement. Esme glanced at her with a frown.

"We don't know anything about her...she's a pathetic human...if Alex finds out...we are as good as dead,"the last thing they wanted was to have a human be their brother's mate and wife.

"I'll have someone look into her... I'm sure we can find something to threaten her with," Kelly said, coaxing her sister not to worry. Esme let out a sigh and nodded.

As the two sisters went to look for Lily's background.

She was in the room. The lady Kate brought back her crutches and helped her bath.

"Eat something..."

"I don't want...please can I leave now," I said, shaking my head? I was humiliated enough. All I wanted was to go home and see my child. Although I was regarded as Sophie's nanny, I still wanted to see my child.

"Look here, girl...you won't get out even if you tried...this place is heavily guarded," the woman said with a frown. They made a mistake. Instead of apologizing to me. They were caging me.

"You are mistaken... I'm not..." I tried to say, but the dry lump stuck in my throat made it impossible. I saw that man, the hatred, and disgust in his eyes. I was used to this. No man wanted me because of my condition.

"It happened...just get ready because you'll be the alpha's wife soon,"Kate said, and I was stunned. I thought I heard wrong. What did this mean? No, no... I didn't come here for this. They made a mistake.
