"Alright... then I won't hesitate to bother you, Dad!" Mandy Moore also laughed cheerfully.
Gothel Gainey was overjoyed, feeling as if he had a little daughter. If John... Ah! Mandy, tell me honestly, do you love John?
Mandy Moore's little face blushed slightly. "Dad, if I didn't want to get married, no one could force me!"
Gothel Gainey was delighted. "To say that... you and John..."
"Well... since the first-anniversary party at F.Tomp, when I saw him, I fell in love with him..." Mandy Moore replied, a bit embarrassed yet firm.
"Haha, a true young girl's heart! Good! So it turns out both father and son can do good things. Now I don't need to worry!" Gothel Gainey felt wholly reassured.
"Don't tease me, Dad!" Mandy Moore blushed even more.
"Alright, alright, let me help you plant... Oh, Lycoris radiata!" Gothel Gainey, excited like a child, urged Mandy Moore. "Come on, quickly teach me how to plant it!"
"Yes..." Mandy Moore happily replied and then sat down to teach Gothel Gainey how to sow and plant Lycoris radiata.
When John Gainey arrived at the mansion, he immediately saw Mandy Moore laughing and chatting with Gothel Gainey.
A clear sensation suddenly arose within John Gainey, and his dark, piercing eyes seemed enveloped in a hazy smoke. His hands clenched tightly out of anger, and he abruptly slammed the brakes, forcefully opening the car door.
Standing behind Mandy Moore, he reached out his large hands and quickly lifted her, not exerting much effort.
"John...!" Mandy Moore exclaimed in surprise as someone suddenly grabbed her. When she turned her head and saw John Gainey, her brows slightly furrowed. "John, you hurt me!"
"John, what are you doing?" Gothel Gainey, seeing his son treating his daughter-in-law in such a manner, felt very dissatisfied.
"What am I doing? You should be asking what you two were doing!" Seeing Gothel Gainey taking care of Mandy Moore like this, John Gainey became even more furious, and the flames of anger burned fiercely in his eyes as if they could consume others.
"John, what's wrong with you?" Mandy Moore didn't understand his reaction. His face turned pale, and he disliked her contact with his father.
"What? You're not tired, huh? You even have to do the maid's work!" John Gainey thought of the scene just now and became even more irritated.
"Oh, so that's what you're angry about!" Mandy Moore chuckled, realizing he was angry over such a small matter.
"You wanted to plant Lycoris radiata in the garden, but you were afraid the maid wouldn't know how, so you did it yourself. When Dad saw it, he wanted to help you plant it!" Mandy Moore explained.
"Dad? You call him 'Dad'? How intimate! I see you're just a loose woman!" John Gainey raised his hand and pushed Mandy Moore to the ground.
"John..." Faced with John Gainey's criticism, Mandy Moore was stunned. She didn't expect him to use such words to describe her.
"John, is that enough? You've gone too far. If you don't respect your father, that's one thing, but even basic respect between husband and wife, don't you have that?" Gothel Gainey couldn't hold back any longer. He never expected John Gainey to treat Mandy Moore like this.
"Respect?" John Gainey coldly laughed out loud, his eyes as icy as the Arctic, full of resentment. "My father is teaching his son about respect? Has my father ever shown respect to anyone?"
In John Gainey's mind, a scene appeared that he could never forget in his lifetime. The father he deeply respected revealed a face of cowardice and contempt. Then he remembered Rose Stein, her loving eyes lingering in his mind.
Gothel Gainey trembled and staggered, almost falling. He wanted to say something, but in the end, he remained silent. He understood that John couldn't forget that incident; his son's treatment of Mandy Moore was a way of seeking revenge against him!
"Dad..." Mandy Moore saw Gothel Gainey trembling and hurriedly spoke up. "John, you're being unreasonable and irrational!" Mandy Moore noticed the pale face of John Gainey and angrily voiced her displeasure.
"I'm being unreasonable? Do you think I'm being irrational? Well, today I'll show you what 'irrational' really means!" John Gainey said and immediately grabbed Mandy Moore, his cold eyes glancing at Gothel Gainey's face before pulling her towards his mansion.
"John..." Gothel Gainey wanted to intervene but suddenly remembered his son's words. Yes, what right did he have to teach his son a lesson?
John Gainey forcefully kicked open the bedroom door without mercy, pushed Mandy Moore onto the bed, and then locked the door tightly.
Mandy Moore tried to sit up, tense as she looked at John Gainey. The pain in her body made her uncomfortable. "John, what are you trying to do?" she asked cautiously.
"What am I trying to do? What else can we do?" After saying that, John Gainey loosened his tie, revealing his neck and bronze-coloured skin.
"I want you to remember who the man you have to serve is!" he said, immediately leaning in, his hot lips freely kissing Mandy Moore's soft flesh.
"A... John, you're out of your mind! I don't understand what you're saying!" Mandy Moore couldn't believe that John Gainey would treat her like this. She pushed against his muscular chest, trying to hold him back.
"You don't understand what I'm saying, and it doesn't matter. As long as you know what I want!" Like an irritated lion, John Gainey tightly gripped Mandy Moore's delicate shoulders.
"What do you think of me?" John Gainey was genuinely insane! She tried to exert all her strength to push him away, then slapped his handsome face on the right cheek!
