Chapter 2 JENNIFER POV

JENNIFER POV

Each year the wolf elders hold a tournament for young wolfs, high ranking wolfs. So see which pack produce the strongest wolfs whom will join the elite law enforcement team. They have authority and are feared, they are killers and have much respect. If you're pack is picked it means you're strong and get to send others wolf to train in the royal ground. Some get to be personal bodyguard to the king, lycan king.

Jennifer- you don't want him to join the team ?

Jordan- I do but he doesn't want to.

Jennifer- oh.

Jordan- he says the enforcers abuse their power and take money from the poor. Which is true but we can't proof it. And also I don't want him to kill innocent people for the elders gain.

Jennifer- then why train?

Jordan- if he refuse they will want him to fight for his freedom. He will have to fight to the death with the best enforcer they have... His a former Red claws pack member and he plays dirty. I should know, I almost killed him.

Jennifer- friend?

Jordan- no. I did not go to the games because I am the youngest but my brother and best friend did. He killed my brother and almost blinded my best friend.

Jennifer- sorry love, but he sounds old maybe jordy won't fight him.

Jordan- he stopped ageing longtime ago, since no one can bet him. The king rewarded him with youth, till such a time he decides to retire or someone kills him.

I did not say anything, he already knows my thoughts and he can't help. I know this games, they play to pick a pack and call it the supreme pack. It's above all and in the past 27 years or more Blood stone pack has held the title hence the most feared pack. But none of then wanted out of the elite team, only my Jordy wants out.

Before the official tournoment the elders have, jordan hold one of his own. To make sure his people are ready, it's been going on for a week and tomorrow was the last challenge. Jordy vs Brock, this ruthless kid who has been bulling Jordy ever since he was able to talk. Jordan couldn't save him, i couldn't save him. Being leaders will make it seem like we are using our power, he will have to fight his way through.

We woke up early and got ready, the tournament starts at 9 in the morning and it may last till noon. I hardly slept with Jordan kicking the covers and waking up every two minutes.

Jennifer- would you tell me what's going with you?

Jordan- Alpha Brandon asked to met with us.

Jennifer- us? Of you? He doesn't know I am your Luna.

Jordan- I know, but we are a team so US.

Jennifer- and that's all?

Jordan- he is arrogant, he changed everything the old man did. Women no longer train, no mating between high ranking wolfs and low ranking wolfs in the name of getting stronger pups. He kill a group of rouges who happened to be just passing by, they only wanted food.

Jennifer- well that's what we were told growing up, kill all and any rouge they are dangerous. But since being here I have have brought blanket and made fruit basket for rouges.

Jordan- jeah well people also say I am evil without knowing me. He wants an alience with us, I can't befriend someone who does that. But

Jennifer- but what?

Jordan- what will he think of me when he finds out I refused to help his father ?

Jennifer- ahh since he wants to be Alpha we should tell him then. See how he handles it?

Jordan- alright.

We were about leave for the pack center when jordan said an intruder was in the pack. It was not long before a warrior come to tell him that the alpha of River run, his mate, beta, son and a few warriors are at the gate. Jordan was visible pissed, and I saw a hint of fear flash in his eyes.

I changed into my Luna dresses and held his hand, we are not fated but I love this man. He showed me love and peace I never felt. We walked down the stairs and the moment I saw Brandon. I thought all those old feeling will come back or something. But they did not he was not the man I once loved. He was all jewelry and long robs and wow. He looked like someone who just walked out of a rap music video.

A laugh escaped my lips and Jordan blocked me from their view. He was tall and very well build, he walked ahead of me with all the authority that come with it.

Jordan- Alpha Brandon! I thought we agreed on two weeks.

Brandon- I mean no disrespect Alph jordan but we got attacked again and I was hoping to seek refuge for my family.

Jordan- and your pack members?

Brandon- we will fight and fortify the pack while preparing for the tournament.

Something about the way he spoke made it seems like it was more than that, I come up from behind Jordan and Brandon smiled. I don't know if he did not notice our hands interlocked or what but the moment my lips touched Jordan's chicks Brandon growled a bit.

Jennifer- I am sorry Alpha Brandon is there something wrong?

Brandon- I thought you were dead jenny. I looked for you.

Jennifer- Luna Jennifer will be alright. And as for housing your family we will be happy to help but due to security reasons they will be placed on the elders section.

Brandon- Luna?

Jordan- my mate and Luna has spoken. Now if you would excuse us we have a game to get to.

Brandon- can we join? They will have to fight each other anyway.

Jordan agreed, he took my hand and we left. We got to the pack center and it was buzzing with energy. It was full, we took our sits and the fights started. Brandon's son was big very big and jordy was not that big. It was evident that Jordy will have to go against his half brother at some point because even Brock was shaking in his boots.
