Chapter 10 Dark room

[ DAMIEN POV]

I felt something was wrong.

"Dagon". I called.

He appear immediately

"Where is Crystal?". I asked.

"I don't know , we left her in the room". he said, munching on the raw meat.

I fast speed to the room she was in but she was there.

Oh no, my mansion is not a place to walk around, especially not for a human.

I fast speed towards the hallway, that is when I saw her going towards the dark room. My whole system changed immediately.

"WHERE DO YOU THINK YOU ARE GOING??". I thundered out immediately.

She turned back in fear.

"I...I ..I..". She stammered, not able to come up with something

"Staying in my house doesn't give you the right to walk around as you please. You are a guest in my house so behave like one". I snapped at her

She jerked back in fear.

"Now be a good girl and run to the room". She ran immediately.

I went to the dark room. I remember casting an invisible spell on it. How is she able to see it? I can't let her stay here for long or else she may be in trouble.

I cast a spell on it again. This is a secret no one must know about.

I called Max and told him to order some food for her. She probably won't want to see me now.

I walk to my room and continue with my work.

[ MAX POV ]

I ordered fried rice and chicken. 30 minutes later my order arrived. I took it up to the room she was staying in.

"Hello". I said, placing the food on the small table beside her.

She looked at me and smiled warmly.

*Hey, what's wrong with your face?". She asked, noticing the bruise on my face.

"It's nothing". I said, wanting to leave.

"Sit with me for a while". I heard her say.

"I'm afraid Damien won't like that, I will just leave now". I said

"If you leave now, I will tell Damien you treated me badly and spoke to me rudely too. I'm sure you won't want that". She smirk

Seriously? She's threatening me.

"You sure ain't as innocent as you look". I smiled and sat down.

"What is your name?".

"Max".

"You know max i always have this kind of expression you have on your face right now. Whatever, I did something bad." She pointed to my face.

"My mom's food is way too delicious that I can't get enough of it and I always steal a little. Till one day she caught me. She gave me the whole food and told me to finish it and if I can't I will be in big trouble". She said

I laughed at the amount of food she shuffled in her mouth trying to explain how much the food was.

"I love my mom more than anything in this one. There is nothing I can't do for her sake."

" I didn't get to experience a father's love". She said sadly.

"I didn't get to experience a mother's love either." I replied.

"I was told she died while giving birth to me. I grew up with my extraordinarily strict father. He always makes me train so hard. One day I got bullied at school, do you want to know what my father did?". I asked

She nodded happily

"Well he called the kids who bullied me and told them to beat the hell out of me". I said

"WTF are you being serious??". She yelled

I nodded

"So he made me train for 10 days, and didn't give me food for 3days." I said.

"Wow your father is one hell of a person". She exclaimed

"After ten days he was sure I would be able to defend myself. He told me, "son you go to that damn school and break those fucking bullys bone. If they did not expel you from that goddamn school. Don't bother coming home".

"Oh my God". Crystal screamed, laughing so hard that she almost choked on her food.

"So I'm assuming you got expelled the next day?". She asked

I smiled

" I didn't just get expelled. I got banned from attending any school. Because the kids were in a coma for a year".

"Now we are talking. That's father's boy". She responded laughing.

"Oh my gosh I can't believe this , looks can be so deceiving. You look like a perfect gentleman". She added

"I will take that as a compliment". I smiled.

"So what's wrong with you? Why are you looking so sad?". She asked

"I did something I wasn't supposed to and I don't think Damien will forgive me".

"Did you kill someone?". She asked

"No". I responded

"Rape someone?".

"No".

"Tell someone, something you ain't supposed to?

"No."

She growled

"What the heck did you do??". She asked.

"I slept with someone."

She suddenly burst out laughing

"Since when did sleeping with someone become a crime?".

"Did you fuck her till death??".

"What??? No!!". I replied

"Then what's wrong with making out with someone?".

"It's a boy". I burst out

"It's a boy?????". She screamed.

"Shhhh keep your voice down".

"A boy ? I see. So what's wrong with that?". She adjusted herself again, trying to compose.

"He's an enemy of Montenegro".

She mouths a "oh".

"Did you tell him anything you weren't supposed to?". She asked

"No we only make out".

"To be honest. I see nothing wrong with what you did. You didn't choose to be a gay. As long as you stayed loyal to Damien or Monte whatever you call it. I see no reason why Damien will be mad at you for making out with someone you like". She said,

I stared at her in shock. I was expecting her to say something bad about me being gay but she totally surprised me.

"Thank you". I bowed shyly

"Don't worry I got u buddy. As long as I am here. Mr mood swings would not touch you". She said

I laughed. She was trying to act like a big sister.

"By the way. Is the guy cute?". She giggled excitedly

"He's not and I don't like him". I responded, looking away

"Hey hey look who's shy now?". She teased me

We both laughed and talked till she brought up the matter.

"There is a dark room in the hallway. What's inside?". She asked with confused and curious eyes.

"Did you go there?". I screamed

"No I didn't. Damien stops me. Is there something bad inside??".

I breathe a sigh of relief. At least Damien was there on time or else she will have been dead by now.

"Whatever you do , don't ever, like never ever go near that room". I warned

"Why??".

"I will leave now". I hurriedly left the room before she said anything else.

[ CRYSTAL POV]

I noticed he was sad and trying to keep it to himself. I decided to talk to him for a little bit. And he was really a fun person.

Surprisingly, he opened up to me. I was quite shocked he was gay. Not like I don't approve of gays but mehn he was way too good looking to be gay.

He was fine till I bought up the dark room matter. He suddenly tense up

"WHAT COULD BE IN THE DARK ROOM??".
