Chapter 2 A Call with her Bestie

Her ringtone kept playing out loud, and monalisa stopped looking for a cloth to wear for the party.

"Hello, Bella! I'm glad your call came in just now, you know you're my go to girl when I'm in need of the right clothes to wear for an event."- Monalisa greeted her friend from college days in hesitation, before she allowed Bella to say anything to her.

"Hey, Monalisa! I know that already, you don't have to give me the unnecessary hype. By the way, that's not the reason why I called you girl, Why didn't you tell me that you'll be attending Mr. Vikram party. Or, Am I not your friend anymore? "

Monalisa, frowned after hearing Bella's voice.

"Baby girl is not that I've forgotten about you, it's just that I've been so busy lately."

Busy? Bella protested,

"Busy, that you can't even message or ping me, Monalisa!"

"Hmmm.... I didn't tell you this, because I don't know about Mr. Vikram too well. Assuming he was my uncle or any of my relatives I'd have told you everything and I'm not trying to say that I don't trust you either but... ."

"Okay, listen Girl let me be truthful to you, Bella. I got this contract through Francisca, who put my ushering services to the organisers and from the review they got from my blog they believe that my brand can do justice to what they want for the party."

"And, I was just hoping that my service can give me that high impression from their society, girl imagine that Mr.Vikram writes a review about my service on my blog or refers me to people who are in need of my services, Just imagine that? " -said Monalisa

"To be honest with you Bella, I don't even care about the party. But I do care about the vast network and opportunities I'll be getting after party from those influential societies. That's why I'm grateful for this opportunity and I'm trying my best with the team to give it my best."

"Whatever girl! Do you even know who Mr. Vikram Schneider is? Do you know who his sons are the likes of Dakota Schneider and Leon Schneider?

He is the richest man in our society! He is one of the richest men in the world and guess what girl? His name got featured in Forbes list, he is a fucking billionaire girl! "

"Not to add that he is one of the few men who have the most handsome and richest sons in the world !

Can you imagine seeing yourself shaking Mr. Vikram Schneider or talking to his sons? "

"I wish I can follow you but it's strictly by invitation and it's not a family reunion thing. But, either way I'll be following you guys socially as IG is there for me to see everything."

"Smiles... I'm not even sure I'll meet them Bella, you better wake up from your fantasy. Remember, I'm the head of the ushers and not a guest, I'll make sure all my girls are doing their work perfectly well then after the party is over I'll head back home in peace. Don't think too much Bella because nothing as what you've imagined will ever work out. "- Monalisa smirks weirdly as she hears Bella whisper a few words under her breath.

"You know what? I've got to get going but before I do please do well to tell me the perfect clothes for a perfect day like this."

"Okay! Try to wear your red and blue gown that's partly opened and that your black boots or heels. I want them to see all your banging body coming out, girl. "

"If only you could make up my day fully by snapping a picture with my Vikram and his two handsome sons, please don't call me if you can't give your number to one of his sons, especially Dakota." -Bella said bashfully, but Monalisa only laughed, thanked her and told her to shut her dirty mouth up as she hung up the phone.

Two hours later,Monalisa has showered and creamed every part of her skin with her favourite body skin care as she put on her blue and red dress, just as her friend Bella has recommended it to her.

The dress successfully brought out her shape. She placed a tiny necklace around her neck as she sprayed a perfume with a strawberry fragrance, rocking her dress with her black heels.

Slowly and calmly she did a simple makeup. Monalisa is not known for flashy things, she went out of her comfort zone to apply those makeups on her face.

I know my girls will be surprised to see me rocking this elegant look,as she walked through her door straight to her car.

This is unlike me I know as she spoke to herself before zooming off to the venue.
