Chapter 5 Episode 5

Alberto looked at her affectionately, then whispered in her ear

"Wrap your hands around my neck".

She obeyed and the distance between them had closed up, as Alberto could feel her warmth, it was the strangest but best feeling ever, they danced in each other's arms for a while until Sonia leaned on Alberto's shoulder and whispered

"Mr Alberto, I need to go now".

His countenance dropped as he watched her walk away.

With the event still booming in the middle of the night, cars parked on every angle. A waiter stepped out to pick more accessories when he got knocked out with a stick.

Sonia instantly changed into his uniform, fixing her contacts aided with glasses and wearing a brown wig to match the waiter's hair colour, she went straight back into the kitchen to not seem suspicious.

"You, why are you coming in now?" asked the manager.

"Sorry sir" Sonia replied.

"Take this tray immediately" he ordered.

She picked up a tray of glasses filled with wine as she strodded to the main hall.

She surveyed the hall looking for Almano untill she found him with some Guests.

"I am patiently waiting for you to accept my proposal, Mr Almano" a middle aged man said.

"No"he bluntly refused.

A tray was brought before him and he picked up a glass but just when he was about to drink it, he was pushed by the man spilling the drink on himself.

"I am very sorry Sir" the man apologized. He had now lost all chances of being in favour with him.

Almano stared coldly at him and walked away, causing the man to shiver. Walking slowly behind him was Sonia who made sure she was unnoticeable.

Almano got to his room and changer his shirt when he felt someone's presence behind him. Slowly turning back, a gunshot was fired at him straight forward into his lungs.

Almano fell to the floor clutching onto his chest as he stared at the young girl holding a silencer in front of him.

Almano had thought of many ways he was going to die mostly by his enemy's hand but not once did he think he will die by the hand of a young girl.

Sonia took off her wig and smiled

" Do you remember me?" she asked.

Ofcourse he couldn't remember her, he had turned a lot of kids to orphans by a killing their parents and he had no idea how those kids grew neither did it bother him.

"You see, Fifteen years ago, you killed my father right in front of me" she said.

Almano stared at her as he was slowly losing consciousness,

"Not only did you kill my father but you dared to come back and kill my mother" she added.

"Did you think nemesis wouldn't catch up with you for what you had done, it may have taken me years but here I am now with your life in my hand".

She moved closer and whispered in his ears, "Don't worry, I will kill your son too".

Hearing her threat against his son, Almano couldn't help but laugh. Who would dare to kill his son, he had brought up a devil who was untouchable, the only reason she could get to him was because he was aging and losing his reflexes, he could have dodged the bullet easily but he couldn't.

Sonia got angry that he had taken her threats for granted so she fired another shot to his head and he fell to the ground.

"Father", a knock came at the door and she jumped out the window. Alberto walked in and found Almano on the floor covered in his blood.

"Father" he rushed to him and realizing a gunshot to his head and chest. Alberto felt so much rage.

"Noooooooooo" he yelled.

Bernard rushed in hearing his boss scream when he saw Almano in his arms, Alberto's eyes were completely red as he looked at Bernard,

"Shut this place down, no one goes in or out".

Sonia had already jumped through the fence before the guards came out.

"I want that person found" Alberto fired a shot at the ceiling standing right at the balcony of the hall, frightening the guests as they screamed for their life.

With no where to run to, the guards had blocked every entrance and the doors were shut.

"Search them" He ordered, one by one the guests were searched for any illegal weapon, irrespective of who they were, Alberto didn't care.

He answered to no one, and now that someone he cared the most for wasn't there, he became angry.

After a Thorough search for about 4hrs, they found nothing, Bernard walked up to Alberto,

"Boss we couldn't find anything" he said.

Alberto who was leaning on the balcony showed no sign of indifference, he knew someone from among them had killed his father and he was not going to let them go until he found that person.

"Boss, we can't keep them here any longer" Bernard reasoned with him. The guests were frightened by what was going on and demanded to return to their respective homes.

"Release them, I need the CCTV of today in my office now" He stated.

Reaching his office, he lit a cigarette, allowing the smoke to fill the office.

Bernard walked in and dropped the CCTV on his desk then left.

Alberto played it and watched every single detail, his eyes lit when saw a waiter push a middle aged man to spill drink on Almano, the outline of the waiter face didn't show, as he had kept his head down seemingly avoiding the cameras.

He watched as the waiter followed Almano within a 30cm radius and entered Almano's room.

"Damn it" he cursed. he couldn't see what happened next because Almano's room had no camera.

He ordered for all the waiters to be brought before him immediately.

Alberto had been working hard to find the his father's killer, his anger scared most of the guards as they avoided him, he was like a Lion seeking his prey.

After a fruitless search, he walked into Almano's room, he picked up a picture frame " I will find that person, and I will kill him, this is my promise to you father".

While he sat on Almano's bed, a thought came to him on How did the killer was able to escape.

He found the window he had closed earlier open then he remembered a few hours ago someone had sneaked into the house and escaped through the window
