CHAPTER FIVE - THE WORLD WIDE CELEBRITY CRUSH.

... Thirty-eight hours before event..

"C'mon, mom, can you hear yourself? It sounds absurd, really absurd!" Jordan yelled and cracked a bit.

"How is getting married going to have anything in common with absurd Jordan?" his dad growled.

"C'mon, old man, it sounds that way to me and still does; I am not getting married now," Jordan responded, his voice getting higher. He is probably getting angry now.

"You are and you would; I'll introduce my friend's daughter to you; you will love her," his mom said, not feeling moved by Jordan's tantrums.

"Damn, did he just hear his mom right?" No, he must have mis heard" Jordan, growled inwardly.

"Get ready, you guys will be meeting tomorrow," his mom added, clearing his doubt.

"I'm not interested in meeting anyone," Jordan replied with a deep scowl on his face.

"You would," his mom said, looking firm with no room for negotiation.

"I have a girlfriend," Jordan yelled.

His mom and dad got up quickly and stood to their feet as soon as they heard him say that.

Jordan placed a finger on his chin, rubbing it gently, before he moved his hands and gently massaged his forehead.

Did he just say he has a girlfriend? Did he even hear himself clearly? He didn't even know when he said he has a girlfriend that he doesn't have one nor is he planning to have one. His mom won't let him rest. There's no going back; he had already said it.

At least he won't get to meet with any annoying lady his mom would be planning to set him up with.

His mom had set up countless blind dates. He rarely attends most of them, but the few times he does, he feels like those girls are really annoying.

They either talk too much,

Eat too much,

cared so much about looks,

had a bad voice,

They were all dolled up.

bad walking steps, and so on. That's the result he often brings to his mom.

At a point, his mom got tired of arranging blind dates for him, but she didn't give up; she shoots her shot at every single opportunity she has to find him a suitable bride.

"Did you just say you have someone you're seeing?" His dad asked in disbelief.

"Really? Who is she? I don't care about that let's meet her let's do that, bring her to us, we'll accept any girl" his mom said as she rushed her words.

Hearing that Jordan had a girlfriend is like one of the best things his mom has ever heard.

She couldn't believe her ears. She had never seen him with any girl apart from his female singing crew. At one point, she thought her son was gay. And now, She felt totally relieved.

"Oh, thank goodness, I really thought the rumors going on about you were true; I really thought you were gay," she said, whispering the "gay" part.

Jordan released a scoff as he stared astonishingly at his mom.

"So you also believed the rumor, really mom?" be scoffed.

"C'mon, it seems to be true, you've never been seen with any other girl apart from the girls who sing with you, but I didn't, I know my son, I know the child I gave birth to is straight," his mom said, rolling her eyes as she sat back on the cushion.

"Hurry, let's meet her." "Tell her family we will take care of the wedding expenses; they shouldn't bother about it," his father spoke up again.

"Why the hell do I need to get married?" Jordan yelled, perhaps already frustrated by his parents' attitude.

"For the company's sake, mister," his dad answered.

"Can't you guys see that am doing perfectly okay without the company, I have my own career"Jordan said as he rubbed his forehead.

"It's also a win-win situation for you too; you gain access to the company and you get those silly rumors going on about you cleared," his mom said and scoffed.

"Silly rumors you believed," he muttered and picked up his car keys, which he left on the table.

"Jordan!" his dad yelled after him.

"Let's meet her; bring her to us, okay?" His mom added, but Jordan paid no attention as he walked out of the house.

"Get a girl who is suitable for marriage and place a price," Jordan said to his secretary as he sighted her.

"Huh?" Jeff asked, confused.

"Place a secret notice, not too open, and place a huge amount of money for anybody who is ready to act as my wife for a while and pay her." "A decent lady," he concluded as he walked angrily to his Jeep.

"Huh? Marriage? " Jeff muttered confusedly; he apparently understood nothing about what his boss was saying. He turned and rushed to meet him when he noticed he had started the car already; he could leave without him. He is like that.

You can also say that he drips hot like fire. Every ladies man, he has stolen the hearts of many with his voice, which sounds like that of an angel's, but has given his heart to none.

He has many crushes around the world; his net worth alone can change the whole of New York. Ohh! I exaggerated there, but his net worth alone can buy a small city.
